Christianity EtcRe: "If Paying Tithes Makes You Rich, Bill Gates, Zuckerberg Would've Been Poor" by Xcelhenry(m): 1:08pm On Jan 10, 2018
stagger:
No where in the bible did it say that paying tithes makes anyone rich. Tithing is a covenant obligation and not to make anyone rich. The same Bible says God will bless the work of your hands. He that does not work, let him not eat.

Too many people like Reno quote what is not in the bible.
Statsocial:
"Give and it shall be given unto you"-Jesus Christ....

Most of these secular men give way above the Tithe as Alms therefore are entitled to financial blessings irrespective of their Faithlessness...

Cornelius wasn't yet a believer and yet the Bible records that his Gifts to the poor spoke on his behalf to God.

I have seen my income triple from Tithing, I have seen the biggest breakthroughs from Alms to the poor also-So I believe if you want to give go ahead and give and be less concerned about terminology.

Any Christian is also welcome to give way above the Tithe both to Church and the Poor. Ministries must be funded, Pastors must be paid, Churches must be built and the poor must be fed. Find the soil that suits you and do both!
if you know what is right please do it.

Please stop being hypocritical about every thing, Our president is a slow actor and I believe that all his attention is now towards 2019, damn any distraction.

Let the youth stand up for what is right. That’s my take

It's debasing how our leaders behave and act;no conscience or respect for the populace.

As the chief security officer of the nation,Buhari should have seen the need to visit Benue in their dark times but instead he chose to pursue his campaign in abia sate.it's very saddening that the leaders don't value the lives of common Nigerians. If a notable APC member was killed there he would hv visited or if it was an APC governed state.

It's high time the old, young,Igbos',Yorubas',Hausas',Fulanis'and other tribes, men, women, poor, rich etc come together to plan our life instead of bickering over trivial issues.

APC may be a good party but its obvious that BUHARI doesn't care about the sufferings of Nigerians.
