I thought it will be very easy to get a job considering the nos of jobs posted online. I can remember rushing to get a new pair of black shoes and a white shirt late one night in march when i received a text that I should come for an interview the next day. Thank God for nl, I would have fallen for all those GNLD guys.

I was dumped by a coy in May at their final interview with their directors(that's after I have done their medicals). As smart as I thought I was I ve failed some aptitude tests. The ones I spent countless nights preparing for were the most disappointing of all.

Although am very good at teaching, I didn't take up a teaching job 'cos I don't want anything to tie me down or bar me from attending aptitude tests/interviews.

Right now I am so frustrated that yesterday which happens to be my birthday was spent indoors sleeping, I didn't even bother to bath.

I am used to success but life is teaching me right now how to fail and learn how to move forward.

I know my predicament would soon be over but I wish it comes sooner.

I am quoting what I wrote a few months back to tell you all that my job search has ended and God did it in a very big way. As a matter of fact I am beginning to appreciate the fact that it took 8 months for me to get this job. If I had settled for less I am sure I won't be able to make as much of a career of what I would have engaged in.
In a few months time I would be sacking my mom as the breadwinner .
To those still in the search, I would say be persistent and don't settle for less and above all PLEASE PUT GOD FIRST, I can't over exaggerate GOD, because without Him I can do nothing.

I think I must have stayed longer than usual and when it was time for me to go she advised me to stay the night as it was a Friday. By this time my mind was racing a bit and I thought to myself, better don't do anything stupid that would make it seem I took advantage of her. At this point our lips were only a few inches apart and I didn't want to initiate anything. For Pete's sake, this was my friend and I shouldn't take advantage of her, I thought again. But it's hard not to think crazy things, Lola is quite busty and the feel of her bõobs on my chest wasn't helping matters at all. By this time my "smaller head" wasn't paying attention to reason too.

Meeting Lola strengthened my believe in horoscopes.
According to horoscopes, I know beimg born on the same day will mean that we would have a lot of physical, emotional, psychological and even intellectual characteristics in common.

Me and Lola had too many things in common, as a matter of fact I do tell her things about herself because it's like describing myself to her. Me and anybody have never bonded like I did with Lola.I know when she's angry, I know what makes her happy. I naturally have this gift of understanding people but with Lola it was so much easier.
Me and her could talk for days on end without running out of what to say. It was not long before she coined a special name for me- soulmate.

We became very close and I usually frequent her place a lot. Our relationship was strictly platonic, Lola is one very straightlaced girl who has quite strict opinions about a lot of things. I guess I mentioned Lola earlier, I met her through Jummy's roommate, Tolu. She occasionally pays Tolu a visit and that was how I came to know her. At first it was just a "hi hi" thing or a "good evening good evening" affair. She is a very conservative person, very shy and too introverted. She doesn't talk much even though there were "lions" in the same hostel who have tried by all means to strike good convos with her. She simply does not like talking.

We got talking one particular evening, that was before I started asking Jummy out. I don't know what we were particularly discussing, but she struck me as the kind of person I will enjoy talking to. I became an instant magnet to her when she discovered we had a lot of things in commmon. Below looks like the kind of conversation we might have had that evening....

And that is how I lost her love for a second time. By this time I was becoming wise and it taught me a lot of things. Many ladies are afraid of guys that would outrightly profess love for them so readily. In fact they could readily read from every of your actions and words how much you love them. It keeps them off balance and triggers in them a sense of insecurity, to them everything is happening too fast and irrespective of how much they like/love being around you are very unlikely to say yes to your advances.
That's the main reason you see bad guys having all the good girls to themselves at no cost.

I discovered that the key to having a nice relationship is to keep everything at a slow tempo.
If a girl discovers you love her than she loves you, it's a no for her.
It's either both of you like each other equally or she loves you more, the latter been the best in the guy's interest. That's the reason why you see decent girls who end up dating or sleeping with guys who don't give a fūck about their feelings.

So I guess that was my mistake, I was already telling her how much I would love to have her as a wife even when we haven't began dating.

Bro if you meet all the criteria for the position please GATECRASH BY ALL MEANS but be sure to take along all hard copy evidence of all the stated requirements..
i.e your 1st class/ 2.1 cert or statement of result, your WAEC cert with 5 credits at a sitting, your birth cert showing you're 26 or below, NYSC cert( that is if you've completed service), a valid means of I.D, 2 passports.

With all this, you can sit for the test coming up on the 26th Aug. like someone stated above.....

Wowwwwwwwwww! I'm so glad Xfire is finally back, and also Darrellrivers! I know that I barely contributed to this thread, which is in fact the only thread that I follow on a daily basis in Nairaland.

I was appalled at this horrible "attack" to our wonderful thread which helps many people everyday.
