Na Abokii write am nau. Nothing concern Peter Obi in the error. Have you forgotten during Gandollar scandal when kano house of assembly wrote a letter spelling "video clips" as "video cliffs"? Or the bus written "sokoto state property eradication" instead of "sokoto state poverty eradication"? Errors like this are quite common in the north. When I was the north all stickers spelt "courtesy" as "cut-cee" |

The late Edwin Clark commended it and he urge Tinubu to also start from the south south end and the president has just did that now. You people are just too bitter for progress of another region. Just because he didn't pass through your landlock zone. All governors from south south also appreciated the bold step of the president. So what is tearing you peoples pant. Develop at your pace and also include Local ingenuity in your development. Your people lack native intelligence. Go and read "confession of economic hitman" and see how big corporations lure unsuspecting poor countries into useless infrastructure project to trap them with loans |

Emmanuel900: Anambra is far bigger but couldn't measure up to Oyo in both VAT and IGR, you are just a typical simpleton lol
Right now there is almost no big business in Nigeria without a base in Ibadan Oyo state, check very well you will always see Ibadan among list of bases of business that are present in Abuja and Lagos.
It is statistics like VAT that determine where some businesses will situate their base in Nigeria because high VAT signal the level of products being purchase in a state. Stop disgracing yourself. Economy is measured by GDP all over the world and Oyo is far below Anambra in GDP |

Bestmanfornow: VAT on paper while nothing is happening in Oyo, that is why you region is most indebted region you guys never see anything wrong in borrowing living fake life you borrow to do Owambe, come to Anambra and see massive projects going without borrowing when you are busy shouting VAT and IGR up and down on social media, Anambra state economy is far bigger than Oyo, Otondo VAT doesn't measure economy These people are economic illiterates |

Emmanuel900: What's wrong with taking loan ? There's nothing wrong with loan as long as it will be use for something productive.
You think Dangote would be able to built that refinery without loans even though he is the richest man in Africa?
You are just financially daft, there's no rich business man in the world that is not taking loan in fact there's no developed country in the world without debts even China, taking loans give you access to more funds and increase your productivity, no wonder Oyo state have more VAT than the whole East, It is stupid thing that won't increase your productivity that you propagate and celebrate. You people have poor understanding of what VAT is all about. It's not Oyo money rather money taken from Oyo people by FG for consuming goods |

U Igbos should know all these attempts at rewriting history doesn't make sense Chris Anuforo killed Unegbe his fellow Igbo during the 1966 coup. Also note that you don't randomly kill innocent people during a coup for "ethnic balance". There was no easterner playing any key role in the destabilization of law and order and total anarchy in Nigeria that time. The east was totally peaceful while piwer hungry north and SW destabilized the country |

Both were also from the same Onitsha and Ifeajuna freely visited Azikiwe’s house anytime as he pleased Ifeajuna spends all his life in Ilesha and Ibadan. Secondly Awolowo was romancing zik for alliance against the north before the coup. Awolowo simply instructed ifeajuna to spare zik. Awolowo enemy that time was Akintola and northerners using him |

Politics › Re: `So Mr Awolowo Actually Masterminded The January '66 Coup? by XerXers: 12:38am On Feb 25, 2025 |
OfoIgbo: As at that time, Zik and Awo were in an alliance, so Awo had no real reason to send his coupists to exterminate Zik.
Ademulegun, Unegbe e.t.c were not politicians, so Awo's coupists only killed them as they could stand in the way of the coup being successful. Also those few Yoruba officers could have been Akintola's people, so Awolowo may have marked them down for elimination, as he wouldn't want any pro-Akintola officer raising dust. Awolowo's coupist also killed an Igbo officer named Lt. col Unegbe. I wonder why they did that.
Babangida was already an officer in 1966. He even took part in the so-called revenge coup of July 1966, so Babangida was a front row observer of what happen then.
Babangida's book is a huge testimony that exonorates Igbos. As a former head of state, he must also be privy to highly classified intelligence reports of the happenings of that period. Awolowo's coup was an evil that befell Nigeria.
Pazienza Bkayy Ekealterego Nice one. Awo and zik rivalry happened before independence. By 1966 Awolowo was romancing zik for alliance against the north which installed akintola to finish Awolowo kpatakpata |

ScamHunter: You've actually raised an important issue. When I was a boy, it usually amazed me that my elders like my uncle's who are all highly educated men always alluded to the Yoruba as the problem of Nigeria. In my juvenile mind, I thought they must be missing something. After all, it was in the north that Igbo were mostly massacred. North and middlebelt right? However, when I became a teenager, I started reading a lot of books about the preNigeria and post colonial Igbo country. I was aghast when I found out that my uncles were right. Do you even know the origin of crisis in Nigeria? Yoruba. In fact, what you saw in 2023 in Lagos guber election is a mirror image of what a typical Yoruba election is. Without the Wild West's inability to conduct a simple election, there would have been no need for a coup in the first instance. is it clear now? In 2027, you guys would still repeat the cycle. Ask yourself why your region must always be the precursor to crisis in Nigeria. The cowards can't contain Igbos. They create anti Igbo national resentment to do it for them but they marvel at how Igbo come out unscathed |
