Hello house,

I'm happy to inform you all that I've arrived safely in Auckland, New Zealand.

In testament to the following information from "davodyguy"; I've met with Femi whom I call "Chief Femi" and have confirmed that He's such a wonderful fellow with a good heart. He sacrifices his time to attend to people. I pray for more blessings and open doors upon his life.
Thanks to you all.

davodyguy:

I guess congratulations are in order.

I wish you all the best.

Contact Femi when you get to New Zealand. I know there can be stupid people on Social media who should be avoided, yet there are some others that are good people.

I met Femi here and we eventually connected in New Zealand. I can tell you, he's a nice guy.

He actually picked us up in Auckland and took us to places where we shopped in his car at his own cost.

I recommend him as a true friend and brother.

Are you going to Auckland or another city?

please i am doing submission for visitors visa online application for newzealand and i am having issues uploading the passport photo. despite complying with the specification. attached below the error message am getting. please anyone that knows a good cafe or agency that can assist please contact me on 08038410578. its urgent

You don't need any agent or cafe personnel to resolve the issue. Just use paint on ur PC to resize the passport. Ensure the percentage distribution for the head and shoulder is in line with INZ specification. I had similar challenge.

Regards.

very good advise , learn driving if u don’t drive and make sure u come with a naija license. U can drive with that for a year or do a conversion once u understand the road a bit.

See u in Aoteroa
Shalom

Thanks. I have a valid licence and I've been driving for years. Do I also need the international D/L that's obtained @ Police headquarters, Alagbon Ikoyi?

Congratulations mate.... I’m happy u come here to give us a feedback on your application.
I will see u for sure. I occasionally worship inside AUT. A close Naija brother of mine established a RCCG inside the campus and he’s one of the most truthful Nigerian u can relate with here. U will meet him when u land.

Thanks to a patriotic fellow, femijck. I really appreciate your kind responses. Please don't forget I'll  be needing your attention for pre-departure/pre-arrival tips.
I look forward to meeting you in Auckland.

Thank you, ugsams for the suggestion; I have a valid drivers licence until 2023. Do I also need to to get the international drivers license with one year validity from Alagbon Ikoyi?

ugsams:

Congratulations bro and have a nice time in New Zealand. Try to go with a Naija driver license, it will make things easier for you.

Hello House Members,

I'm new on Nairaland but got to know about this platform in July following the response I got from the VAC-SA that my passport was ready for collection 2 days after submission. It was in my worry that some1 sent me this link where I read through the message trails and confirmed that passport verification within days is a norm.

On that note, I say kudos to all those who spare their invaluable time to share vital information on this platform. Indeed, the details clear doubts and give answers to many questions.

My story is actually long and rigorous but in summary, I submitted my student (PhD) visa application on 28/06, had my 45min. telephone interview at 9.15pm NGT 24/7/2019 = 8.15 NZT 25/7/2019 and to the glory of God, I received my "Approval in Principle" on 24/09 and got the visa on 03/10.

Generally, I would like to encourage all who submitted student visa application to be patient and ensure they respond to their case officers explicitly and on timely note even during the telephone interview.

My special appreciation goes to femijck, ugsams, davodyguy and a pal "bucade11" for their unalloyed support & responses to all prospective NZ migrants..

Shalom!
