You are right to some extent but that No 1 though most abused these days but it is biblical. First we saw it when Balak took diviners fee to Balaam that he may curse children of Israel, Second we saw it when Saul, the first King of Isreal took some gifts to Samuel to inquire about the lost Ass. It is very biblical but today, wrong people on the alter who cannot even divine anything collects diviners fee for their stomach.
