The sentence will run concurrently, meaning he will only have to serve for 9 years, being the maximum term of imprisonment.
That's why the young ones are failing Jamb anyhow. It took the last quote on the Fp to find someone who read and understood the sentencing. 👍

It is jealous nah because you're on the payroll of a conventional bank.

I detest Nigerian banks, especially, first bank.
This is the problem you guys have on nairaland. You make assumptions on what you know not. If there's a serious glitch/hack on the system, where would you prefer your money rather be.

I don't know about them being used for crypto or money laundry but I just have a natural dislike for digital banks operating in Nigeria

Education / Re: Age Limit For Varsity Admissions Backward - Punch Editorial Board by xjiggy: 10:48am On Apr 29
I support the age restrictions. Most of the children we see in universities now are a product of the rush rush mentality of their parents. You see some of them boasting about their children finishing university at the age of 20. The level of suicide in our universities is as a result of these kids not mentally matured and prepared for the outside world. Just one carryover... suicide. If u have a child who finished sec school by 15/16, let him or her learn a vocation, a trade, courses in IT. They'll use that period to also learn interpersonal skills.

Kewtt:

It's a loan. They pay back. It's no subsidy. In fact private university students may pay back faster than public uni ones. If you default na jail get you o
Bro, the highest defauters of Bank loans in Nigeria is the wealthy. If eventually there's economic downturn in the lives of such individuals, repayment falls on the stundent. So, looking at it from the student perspective, there's no guarantee the private university graduate will get a better and higher paying job than the Public University graduate. Repayment may end up being difficult and stressful because of higher debts.

Marriage is Sacred but most couples nowadays see it as a convenience. Too many outside influences (social media, foreign culture, unrealistic expectations)....

I drove on the bridge just after completion. It is so smooth and tempting. Something keeps telling you to keep pumping that gas pedal and go even faster, and no matter how fast you go, there is this crazy guy driving a Benz that will zoom off right beside you, making you think you are moving like a snail.

And moving so fast in Nigeria is not like in other advanced countries where other drivers are sane. Here people don't know when to stay on their lane and when to over take. Everyone drives anyhow.

I had to give my self brain and stayed on 120.

I no dey go past 80 for that Bridge.

shoodboi2:
Most marketers buy 33000 liters at once. One million liters would be over one billion naira.

Who is this guy looking to sell to? Cos I don't think he's selling to Nigerian marketers. Unless maybe major marketers.

But those ones will only turn around to sell to independent marketers who buy 33000 liters at once.

Middle man things 😂
most of those so-called independent marketers are under franchise. It won't be difficult for them to get their quota

Shut up!

Putting their lives on same people they maim Daily.

The joke is on you.

How many US soldiers have you heard killing unarmed civilians daily in their country,...

What is the logic of protecting civilians from terrorists and bandit, then end up getting killed by the very same so called protectors.

Causing hardships through illegal road blocks, and then end up dead when you fail to comply.

Well, you may be referring to the North, but here in the south, specifically south south and south east, they are no protectors, and communities shivers whenever they are seen, when they should be happy!

Civilians always give them the cold shoulder because they are not love, not because they don't want to but because of the mark of terrors they have left with families and communities.

You should be ruminating about why you are so hated in one section of the country. That should really worry you.

When you are so hated, you are expose to terror attacks without any intel.

Intel lies in the hand of the armless citizen that you guys constantly oppressed, but you think you can get everything by brutality.

Then continue...
your first two words says who you are. You're are safe behind you keyboard..... Continue

USA soldiers doing damage in the middle East while your own agbero soldiers are doing their own damage to your country men.

Go to that same middle East, you can never see their soldier making this kind of razz agbero video threatening their country men.
How many Americans have you seen kill their own soldiers and behead them? Americans reverence their soldiers but we disrespect ours despite them putting their lives on the line daily for us ordinary civilians to enjoy peace. Those guys had the temerity to kill serving officers in non combat situation. Those guys killed about 16 soldiers amongst whom are a Lt. Colonel, 2 Majors and a Captain. What the soldier said is clear.... I protect good people and I destroy bad people. He who lives by the sword dies by the sword. Simple

TINTINABULATION:
There is nothing so special here until we are privy to the Memorandum of Understanding between Abia State Government & Cranburg Construction. That is the document that will list all the roads to be constructed with the money. There is no law forbidding a private organization, such as Cranburg to approach its bankers for facility to execute a contract. If Access Bank finds her customer, Cranburg Construction credit worthy, then public opinion holds no sway
That's how Cecilia Ibru borrowed money to the family chemicals company. When Oceanic bank went down I lost the value of over 40,000 shares. Even the Ecobank that took over rubbished the shares the more. What guarantees did they have from the company to grant a 50bil loan other than self recognition.

I like how our leaders and politicians always become wise men when not in power or in opposition. Forming Patriots up and down. Same Baba who's Govt spent about $16bil on power with no tangible results. People he employed were setting this country up to be robbed... case in point the Mambilla power project. They've all been oppressing the masses since independence.
