you have not been to dakar before, cause if you have been there, you won't compare it with eko akete(lagos state)[/qusote]

You took the statement out of my mouth ... Its an insult to compare Lagos with Dakar . Yh we know Dakar is a pretty cool place but not in the league of Lagos .
Travel / Re: Getting A Gabon Visa by Xploits2204: 7:28pm On Feb 23, 2016
Yes most people usually get the visa at the point of entry but you must have processed possibly an entry permit which would be presented before you are issued a visa . Also for entry permit , you will pay 75,000xaf before the visa is issued .

Your contact in Gabon should be able to guide you on this .

Thanks pal. I really appreciate your response

Why the rather expensive student route when you qualify as a skilled migrant? You can easily migrate without Masters if you consider province sponsorship routes. Ontario would send you a letter of Interest with a CRS score above 400. Furthermore, with your professional, it's likely it may be in demand in Saskatchewan province; you may want to have a look at that province as well.

With a good IELTS score(LRWS 8,7,7,7) by you and your wife, and corresponding ECAs of your degrees, I don't think polling 400 points would be that difficult.

Thank you @irondome , I will give FSW a try as advised .
Travel / Re: Getting A Gabon Visa by Xploits2204: 5:39pm On Feb 21, 2016
Gabon is one of the most difficult country to get an entry visa so you need to erode the assumption of people do not really go to the country from your mind ...

Your friend could use the company he's working with to get an entry visa or you can apply online and you will have the visa at the point of entry .

Hello @Zadora and other gurus ,

I am interested in the express entry and would like to know my chances at a shot at it .

I am working for a telecoms servicing company with 5 years work experience . This 5 years has transisted from a technical role to a business role . I have worked in 4 African countries . Married and I have a son .

I have a plan of starting masters in Canada by fall of 2017 and my family joining me afterwards ( Plan A )...

Please what are my chances with the skilled work permit considering my profile and what is usually the duration for one to be successful ?

Thanks guys !
Career / Re: Am Thinking Of Quitting My Job by Xploits2204: 6:53pm On Feb 20, 2016
[Qquote author=missKiffy post=43095399]This job has made me realise that truly we women are the problem of this world. I started this job on the 2nd of November last year and the Manager who happens to be a lady is everybody's problem in that office.

While working there its been one issue or the other, this lady in question is repulsive, cranky, rude, very proud, talks to people anyhow including an elderly man who happens to be the driver, never takes blame for her mistakes but never fails to magnify every other persons mistake. My mind has left the place since the day I found out that she was looking for a replacement for my position, that was late last month, I had initially decided to leave after collecting my salary for that month before I later changed my mind, as at now I don't know if she still intends to find someone else but my mind is just not there anymore, there is nobody they haven't threatened with a sack in that office, in fact a guy was once sacked just a week after he started work. It's just a small organisation with about six staffs including the boss, she's actually in a relationship with the boss and if they do decide to get married I don't even want to be there by then cos if she can be behaving like this when they are only dating i wonder how she will behave when they get married.

I know a lot of people would say it's best to leave your job only when you've gotten another place but you might not understand what's it's like when your mind is not just there anymore. What do you guys think? Do you think I should quit?
Please stick to the job till you get something better ... My wife was in this exact situation in 2014 and went the way of quiting without another job...though she's happy for resigning but no job yet since then till now...

Sure-P under BUHARI laiye!!! I could remember PTF under Buhari, everybody felt the goodies of that project, only people who are blind from the truth will dispute this. There are some schools still having PTF buildings, I could remember getting free textbooks and co from PTF, tell me how many people felt the effect of sure -P?? It was just another avenue to siphone public funds.

I got free textbooks and notebooks of PTF also...

Politics / Re: Fashola Calls For A Change In House Rent Collection System In Nigeria by Xploits2204: 1:38pm On Dec 16, 2015
Millerz:
he's very correct. Its only in Nigeria and some other primitive African countries this happens in.

In the western world, house rent is paid monthly. On no account will your house owner ask for more.

Rents are paid monthly in other African countries known to me( Senegal,Ivory Coast,Cameroon and Gabon) . It will be a welcome idealogy if its implemented . Government should also embark on massive low lost housing scheme so people could have options of either getting an apartment with a private owner or with the FG .

I am in Libreville right now at saint George, there is constant electricity here, enough food and money okay? you may not have big sky scrappers here but we live in tranquility, no Armed robbery no kidnapping, no boko haram, as far as you have your paper you have no problem! that is why I clamor for Biafra.

Hello cocoduck , my company is transferring me to Libreville by end of this month and I am still sorting my work permit papers out...do you know if I could get a part-time teaching job ( English ) in Libreville ? As I am going to have a lot of spare time due to the nature of my job . A response would be appreciated . Merci .
