Students at Kunming University of Science and Technology in southwest China’s Yunnan Province have invented a "smart helmet" that helps blind people navigate the world around them.

Called Eye See, the helmet can read for the visual impaired and sense the environment, guiding the user when walking around.

Nigeria’s Minister of Women Affairs Alhassan Aisha Alhassan has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to keep his promise of ruling for only one term, saying she would resign if he sought another mandate in 2019.

The comments by the minister could heighten uncertainty over whether Buhari plans to contest the next election.

The 74-year-old took power in 2015, but has been absent for the better part of 2017 due to an unspecified illness. He has been away on medical for more than five months combined, to seek medical treatment in London.

Men Return Car They Stole , Wash It With Their Clothes After Going “Mad ”

This is very serious. Two young men who allegedly stole a vehicle at night – got more they bargained for as they returned it the next day but not the same way they look.

In a trending video footage posted online, the young thieves removed their clothes totally in front of shocked passersby and used them to wash the car.

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari was not aware that rail line was going to pass through his hometown in Daura, Katsina State.

He added that the President has directed that Kebbi, Zamfara and Sokoto be linked by rail.

He said: “The President summoned myself and the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, that we should go ahead with infrastructural development and he specifically told me that I must connect the 36 states capital by rail.

It is a huge assignment. Huge in the sense that it is very expensive to connect. By the directive of the President, We are currently designing a railway that would connect Gusau, Sokoto and Kebbi.

Transporting people from Benin Republic to Apapa seaport is not easy and to connect them from Benin Republic to Madakali; a border town in Kebbi, you need to pass through Daura and Jibia local government area.
