Yahaya Bello allowed Fulani to settle there during Buhari when they were chased out of other regions during the Ruga saga But if you know geography it’s not just ‘Yoruba’ speaking parts that are affected. Just across from them is Niger is parts of kwara state that has been under attack, the parts of Okene road all the way to Ekoja in Edo state the road where kidnapping has been rife and across from them is the river Niger and Niger state where bandits have taken over Benue state is the neighboring state. You know the attacks in Benue already Nassarawa state separates plateau from Benue, plateau has been under attack. So its basically the entire middle belt and not a Yoruba part like you insinuated |
Tinubu is using you to steal He’ll get presidential immunity but you will not Be ready to answer after your tenure |
Bush man that went to school So Iran that had more resources didn’t build bunkers but their generals were still killed abi? |
Nairalander248:You can get experience by living it You can get experience by learning from others The latter is recommended |
Seems like same set of bandits terrorizing yagba west in kogi and parts of kwara and across the river in niger state A good air surveillance and ground troop coordination should be able to handle this. Give solders long range drones and air bombardment call support Why does it feel like some people don’t want these terrorism issues resolved? |
This one just guaranteed his own death sentence |
A lot of nigerian so called billionaires are living on liabilities. That is loans So beware when doing business with them. Cover yourself legally, don’t say because they’re billionaires on paper you can trust them without a legal cover |
Only core northern churches like ECWA and COCIN will give you facts They are the ones that build far into northern Nigeria and not just the more secure state capitals |
But why one particular tribe? Any business you’re doing that can get other people’s lives destroyed or even killed is a great injustice and it will be punished |
Including tinubu |
It is madness |
This is not the UK Tinubu and his boys should stop this nonsensical revenue drive that give nothing back to Nigerians |
INEX chairman was his pally, now that they have their own INEC chairman they don’t need him that much. His connection to the judiciary through Odile has been broken and his hold over governor of Rivers state is tenuous. Use and dump loading |
Tinubu won’t have a passport Several governors like Ogun state governor, ministers etc won’t have a passport |
Both APC presidents had certificate scandal issues Goodluck had a PhD uncontested Yaradua has a Masters uncontested Buhari had SSCE scandal Tinubu had degree scandal |
Shame on you |
The biggest beneficiaries of the system are usually the blockers. Trump’s grandfather was from Germany, 2 of his 3 wives are direct immigrants Kemi was raised in Nigeria |
Some top Nigerian lawyers are unloved too |

Yahaya. Bello acccpted a trailer load of Fulani into the Yagba area during Buhari when they were chased away from other regions LOKOJA— Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has kicked against the anti-grazing laws enacted by some of his colleagues in Benue and Taraba states, saying herdsmen were welcome to graze in any part of the state. Governor Bello stated this during an emergency state security stakeholders’ meeting attended by traditional rulers, Fulani settlers, political administration and security personnel over incessant clash between Fulani herdsmen and farmers. Bello added that the herdsmen can call their kinsmen displaced in other states to Kogi State. The traditional ruler of Elete, Chief Ahmed Aku, who was kidnapped last year by herdsmen, had advised the governor to follow the example of Benue and Ekiti governors. However, Bello responded passionately, saying, “I will not enact any law to stop Fulani herdsmen from coming to Kogi State. I will not be part of any law that will forbid them from carrying out their normal business in Kogi State. “Why don’t we develope a law that will make us live together harmoniously and tap from our different economic values? “The next ‘oil’ this country is rediscovering now is agriculture. So if you don’t want anybody to disrupt the farms, I beseech you to also allow the Fulani carry out their businesses.” … reads riot act to monarchs, LG bosses The governor also threatened to dethrone any traditional ruler whose domain was used as a battle ground between farmers and herdsmen. His words: “We will dethrone any traditional ruler of the land where such occurred; including removing any administrator of such local government—appointed or elected.” Bello directed the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to ensure the Fulani were integrated into the traditional council area of all the local government areas of the state. He ruled: “There must, henceforth, be a representative of Fulani in the local traditional council. This must also be replicated at the area traditional council, while the Secretary to the State Government must see that a Fulani representative is present at the state council. “This will ensure that the Fulani are aware of, and are part of decision making in the state.” He also directed his Special Adviser on Security Matters, Jerry Moodart, to commence the process of taking census of Fulani resident in all the 21 councils in the state. source :https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/11/gov-bello-kicks-grazing-bill/ |
