In life, you will realize there is a role for everyone to meet. Some will test you. Some will use you. Some will love you and some will teach you. But the ones who are truly important are the ones who bring out the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it's worth it. |
Enemyofpeace:Ramadan and Lent is in town. Satan is tied so Peace is inevitable. |
Threats upon threats. Both parties should just do the needful so the state can move forward . |
This is really applaudable but with the way things are done in our dear country ,it will only fill some pockets . |
Any mistake you have made that closed the door of favor in your life, by the mercy of God, let that door be open now 🙏 |
excanny:Not necessarily but then finding out why the guy didn't marry her in the first place will go a long way in helping him make the right decision . |
A single mother giving you joy is not bad once you're sure she's genuine. |
These ones are mad. You don joke with death irrespective of the kind of life he lived . |

There’s a cliche that says, ‘If you don’t laugh at Chiwetalu Agu’s slangs, then something could be wrong with you.” |
simpleseyi:I rest my case . |
EmperorIsaac:Even then there's a 'Father" to be gotten to through him right?? That's saying he's answerable to God and he isn't . Jesus just like Muhammed is a messenger of God . The sooner you accept that the better for you. |
And PDP?? Congregation of saints? |

EmperorIsaac:Here are some Bible verses where Jesus refers to God as "God" or "Father": 1. *Matthew 27:46*: "About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, 'Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?' which means 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?'" 2. *Mark 15:34*: "And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, 'Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?' which means 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?'" 3. *John 20:17*: "Jesus said, 'Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, "I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God."'" 4. *Matthew 26:39*: "Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed, 'My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.'" |
Honestey:Most don't but I know a few that don't play with it. |
Time for somber reflections. There's Ramadan and there:s lent but what effect does this have on us as individuals ? You'd see killers and arsonists fasting with all conviction yet not planning to desist. The Quran and Bible strictly abhors all these vices yet it's rampant so what's the essence of all the prayers and fasting!? |
mightyhaze:ask them oooo. |
Let me explain a bit of Nigeria to you. Many years ago in the not too distant past,a military president defiantly cancelled the results of an election that is known to be the fairest election in the history of the country. This cancellation led Nigeria to a downward spiral that has taken the country from dictatorship to high level corruption and a maligned democracy. Yesterday, this military president sensing the need for one more major cashout and image washing, launched a book he wrote about his time in power. During the launch,he announced that he was wrong to have annulled the election and he now owns his L. This man was rewarded with #15bn naira for his "repentance". No bad press,no sanctions, just more money. It is well. |
At 81, Nigeria's legend, Bongos Ikwue, has this humbling message to the world "There is so much that we don’t understand and we falsely believe that we know too much. That is why human beings are arrogant over nothing. For instance, your driver is standing in front of you with his hands in his pockets, and you are angry because he has his hands in his pockets. You forget that his hands and the pockets belong to him. If you are not arrogant, you will be quiet because that is his right. "There is nothing that should make you challenge your driver for doing that, but we become so arrogant and forget that pride is the most destructive thing in the world. We need to be humble because we know nothing at all. "There is no period of ailment that is not tough for anybody. I had never had an ailment. I think I was hale and hearty for the first 60 to 70 years of my life and to suddenly fall sick and suffer a stroke was not easy. It is not an ailment that anybody deserves. It is a time of reflection; you know, a lot of people pray for long life but when they begin to get old, they are scared. "You must accept growing old with dignity. You will also learn one thing from falling sick; that no human being is going to live in this world forever. Above all, despite your wealth, you will die and you are not going to take a pin along with you. When you know these things, it helps you to become humble. "Let me try and simplify what I’m saying so that people can understand it better. Supposing they give me all the wealth in Abuja and ask everyone to leave their houses for me, they mean nothing. I have realised that nobody owns anything. You are sitting in my hotel now, but it will outlive me because when I die, it will still be here. So we don’t own anything. You can deceive yourself and think you own something." May God give us wisdom to understand the nature of our world. Amen 🙏 Copied and modified |
seunjungle1:El Rufai is actually better as his own tantrums started after he was denied a ministerial role. Amaechi really F up by showing his displeasure and living it since the day he lost that primaries. |
Very obvious he's not part of this present government and rightly so. He was never commited to bringing Bubu in and didn't even pretend to be pleased with his victory. He has no say in River:s APC as even Wike a PDP man wield more power in the party than him. |
Is he still in APC? |
In summary ,the writer is in support of the increase. |
PDP is as good as dead. |

*The ripple effect of kindness* A man was hired to paint a boat. With his paint, brushes, and a steady hand, he began coating the boat in a vibrant red, as the owner had requested. As he worked, he noticed a small hole in the hull, barely noticeable to the untrained eye. Without saying a word, he repaired it, considering it part of his job. Once he finished painting, the owner paid him, and the man left, content with his day's work. The next morning, however, the owner returned, with an amount far more generous than what was owed for the painting. Surprised, the painter asked, "Sir, you've already paid me for the paint job. What is this for?" The owner smiled and said, "This isn’t for the painting. It’s for fixing the hole in the boat." The painter, puzzled, replied, "But that was such a small thing, certainly not worth this amount." "My friend, you don’t understand," the owner began. "When I asked you to paint the boat, I even forgot about the hole myself. After you finished and the paint dried, my children took the boat out on a fishing trip without telling me. I was away, and when I got home, I was horrified to realize they had gone out in a boat with a hole in the hull." The painter listened intently as the man continued, his voice now thick with emotion. "I was terrified, thinking they might never return. But when they came back safely, I rushed to check the boat and found that you had repaired the hole. You didn’t just fix a boat—you saved my children’s lives. That’s something I can never fully repay." The painter stood silent, absorbing the weight of the man’s words. The owner added softly, "Sometimes, the smallest gestures can have the greatest impact. What seemed insignificant to you meant the world to me." In life, we may unknowingly fix many “holes” for others—offering help, mending hearts, or simply being there when needed. We often don't realize how much those small actions can mean to someone else. You never know when your quiet kindness might save a life. Keep helping, keep caring, for the world needs more boat painters The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Do not consider any good deed as insignificant, even if it is just meeting your brother with a cheerful face." (Sahih Muslim) The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said “ *Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it.”* (Sahih Muslim 1893) "And keep reminding, because reminding benefits the believers."(51:55) |
