Dendrimer modified MWCNTs has excellent performances
Owing to their unique optical, electrical, magneticand mechanical properties, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have attracted worldwide attention in the fields of nanoscience, nanotechnology, and bioengineering. However, now multi-walled carbon nanotubes in polymer composites is limited by its polymerization tendency and poor dispersion. Using polyamido - amine dendrimer modified multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), prepared a dendrimer / carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs-g-PAMAM) nano composites. In polar solvent such as water, methanol and ethanol, the composite material has good dispersibility. Infrared spectra showed that the graft-modification is covalent bonding of MWCNTs and PAMAM, thermal gravimetric analysis data indicate that PAMAM successfully modified on MWCNTs sidewalls, and grafted onto MWCNTs. The amount of PAMAM varies with their generation (G1.0 ~ G4.0) , the specific order is G2.0> G1.0 ≈ G3.0> G4.0. Weihai CY Dendrimer Technology Co. 20 ℃, lower spinning temperature can greatly reduce the high temperature thermal degradation of nylon 6, to improve product performance. Hyperbranched polyester modified nanoparticles can greatly enhance impregnating varnish performance.
Using Al2O3 nano-particles modiffied by aliphatic hyperbranched polydihydroxytoluene propi-onate(HMPA) as filler, using insulating impregnating varnish as matrix to prepare thermal conductivity impregnating varnish to study its performance. Get the following conclusions: (a) hyperfunctional Al2O3 nanoparticles can effectively improve the dispersion performance and interface compatibility of the particles in the varnish, when the particles filling amount is 20%, hyperfunctional Al2O3 nanoparticles can still evenly dispersed in the varnish, almost invisible agglomeration, while the particles without modification have serious agglomeration. (2) varnish filled with hyperfunctional Al2O3 nanoparticles, its impact strength, thermal conductivity is significantly improved. When the filling amount is 20%, varnish filled with hyperfunctional Al2O3 nanoparticles reaches maximum impact properties which are 4.96 times than non filled. When the filler content is 25% and filled with hyperfunctional Al2O3 nanoparticles, impregnating varnish thermal conductivity reaches the maximum which is 1.82 times than non filled. (3)composite volume resistivity is increased if filling with hyperfunctional Al2O3 nanoparticles , but increased slightly, keep within an order of magnitude, the varnish is still able to maintain good electrical insulation. Hyperbranched polyester has wide applications in polymer blends, nano-materials and medicine fields
Hyperbranched polyester due to its special structure and excellent performance has been widely used in various fields. (1) Application of the polymer blend. Because of the special properties of hyperbranched polyester, it can be used as the plasticizer, crosslinking agent, dyeing auxiliaries, dispersing agent and rheology modifier in the polymer blend; hyperbranched polyester molecules melts with nylon 6 in polycondensation reaction and the obtained polymer which is used as a resin modifier, when content is 7%, the impact strength increased from 8.4kJ/m2 to 20.4kJ/m2 (2) the application of nanomaterials. Using hydroxyl and carboxyl end group as a stabilizer of HBPE, supplemented phosphorus surfactant fatty alcohol ether phosphate (MOA a 3pk), after UV reduction of silver nitrate was prepared HBPE coated silver nanoparticles. Comparative experiments found without HBPE or MOA 3pk can not prepare a highly dispersed silver nanoparticles,indicating that combination of HPBE and MOA-3pk plays a key stabilizing role in light reduction reaction during the growth of silver nanoparticles.(3)the application in medicine. Hyperbranched polymer can be used as high activity induction solvent.(4)coatings application. Research on HBPE diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A epoxy resin system thermal and mechanical properties, confirmed that adding 10% (mass fraction) of HBPE can make the resin toughness increased by 224%. PAMAM dendrimers has wide application in the tanning industry
PAMAM dendrimers in the tanning industry has a wide range of applications: (a) as formaldehyde scavenger. Leather's tanning, retanning and bleaching processes will produce a large number of formaldehyde,terminal amino PAMAM dendrimers with lots of reactive amino groups , can react with formaldehyde to effectively reduce the formaldehyde content, can be used as a kind of excellent performance formaldehyde scavenger; (2) as a soaking agent. Hydrocarbon chains of PAMAM and methyl group are lipophilic group, carboxyl and amine groups are hydrophilic, it will have more excellent surface active properties. Thus,dendrimer-NH2 end group can be modified according to the actual needs by the introduction of favorable soaking groups for the leather to obtain some effective macromolecular surfactant to reduce the required additives amount of soaking step , so as to achieve the purpose of environmental conservation; (3) as leveling agent and fixative.By appropriate modification of PAMAM, such as using cationic etherification grafts and modifies amino group of entire generation dendrimers PAMAM to bring a large number of peripheral cationic group and form a large number of ionic bonds with anionic dye to form macromolecules lake on the fiber surface, which plays a fixation effect; (4) as tanning agent and chrome tanning agents. Carboxyl-terminated dendrimer product may compound with Cr3 +, chromium salt content in tanning liquid waste can be reduced to decrease chrome pollution of the environment, to achieve clean and less chrome tanning purposes; (5) as flocculant for leather wastewater. As a new type of polymer flocculant, it can combine with the high organic matter, suspended solids, Cr (Ⅲ) and neutral salt which is contained in tanbnery wastewater to form suspended solids settling down. Hyperbranched polyester can better improve PVC mechanical and rheological properties, when 10 units of H40 is added into 100 units PVC, PVC ‘s tensile strength and elongation at break can achieve maximum 39.58MPa and 30.25%. When 8 units of H20 is added into 100 units of PVC, the impact strength of the system can reach max 20.53kJ/m. In addition, PVC with hyperbranched polyester can greatly reduce the viscosity of the PVC, and with the amount increase of hyperbranched polyester, viscosity of the PVC is further decreased, and its rheological behavior turns into Newtonian fluid which is good for PVC processing. 380 °C. Polyurea microspheres with a large number of amino group can improve its adhesion performance with polyurethane coating or substrate. The newly constructed dendrimer hydrogels possess high structural flexibility, high water absorptivity, good cytocompatibility, and controlled swelling and disintegration through the modulation of dendrimer surface charges and modification. PAMAM dendrimer (CY Dendrimer Technology Co., Ltd)hydrogels uniquely express the structural characteristics of both PEG hydrogel and PAMAM dendrimer and have potential for various applications in tissue engineering and drug delivery.
The hydrogel has the following advantages and application prospects: (1). They allow simultaneous delivery of both hydrophobic and hydrophilic drugs . In particular, the interior hydrophobic core of the dendrimer would encapsulate hydrophobic compounds, thus, increasing their water solubility and loading amounts, while the cross-linked PEG network enables the encapsulation of hydrophilic drugs. (2). The surface charges conferred by terminal groups on the dendrimer surface can be modulated to make the hydrogel polyionic with controllable charge density. (3). Their unique spatial structure and configuration with high adaptability may present themselves a suitable platform for fine-tuning of cell-scaffold interactions in tissue engineering.
