PPR came in for my son and I.
Application date: 14th of March 2022
Biometrics: 6th of April 2022
LONG WAIT with a lot of webforms and emails sent to IRCC, 2 gcms notes
bvl and tracker update: 4th of May 2023
Applied for SOWP : 6th of Oct 2022 (application still active with eligibility just started on the 15th of May 2023)

I send webforms and emails sotei I taya, and contacted 2 MPs in the process and all of them were just giving me updates and all but then when it was God's time, everything fell into place. Thank you all for the support and encouragement.

Can dependants track their application status?They received Bvl and I don't think their Visa details can show on principal applicant tracker.Who has this experience pls?

I check my tracker this morning and i saw Visitor Visa Document number that starts with E and expire date which is Jun 2026.... Does it mean my visa has been approved ?

This looks exactly like my wife's. She did her Biometrics on the 6th of April 2022. tracker reads eligibility, biometric and medical complete and background check ongoing.

The wait and uncertainty can be depressing and frustrating.

I remember someone here yesterday stated don’t bombard them with emails when I asked for IRCC email address to compare with what I have. I was so vexed this morning cos my life is almost on hold. My wife is travelling this weekend to Canada, and I wasn’t happy likewise her!
I angrily emailed various offices, knowing my application was in Kenya! I sent to Dakar, Ghana, Lagos, Abuja, London, Mexico, Qatar and more. I knew it was wrong, but I didn’t care at this point! The goal is I needed a response after sending emails to Kenya at reasonable intervals but no point.

London emailed me that my application is not with them (of course, I know). They said I should go to the general web form (they sent a link), and they will instruct someone to pick it up if I do it now with my application number. I don’t know if they did anything, but I got PPR a few hours later.

The bottom line is I sincerely thank God, and the emails I sent were pleading and angry in some parts.

It will end in praise for everyone.

It took about 6 weeks then,
This wait is killing oo. I had applied for a visit visa earlier but nothing. I had just applied for CBSA notes now, I heard it is faster and may come under 4weeks

Has your eligility started? How long did it take to get your GCMS note. I have ordered my note since January and i am yet to get it. Everything just really frustrating.

I think it depends on the V.O handling our files. Its so tiring and sad 😩

Mine too, Oct 6. GCMS may be indicating it was rerouted to the lagos office as shown in the screenshot. Criminality had been passed, medical passed, info sharing complete as at january 9th 2023, We dey God hand.

Greetings to everyone,
I really need your help guys on this
1. I had applied for a visit visa in January for my wife and toddler child.
2. After a prolong wait and no update, I put in an application for SOWP for my wife and a visit visa for the my toddler as a dependent in October and then a week later..........
3. An MP I had contacted says IRCC had said IRCC had noticed 2 visit applications "IRCC wants to know why there is a new application and they will not send any request letters until this is clarified"

I have sent an explanation using webform but then there has been no update ever since then. What do you suggest please?
1. Wait and do nothing
2. Withdraw the visit visa applied in January and leave the SOWP?
3. Leave the SOWP but withdraw my child dependent Visit visa
4. Any other suggestions will be very appreciated

Guys i am in Dire need of help as i am getting really demoralized right now.
