Politics / Re: Wike Summons Emergency Meeting Over Rising Insecurity In Abuja by Yelight(m): 12:54pm On Jan 16
FeliciaOja:
This sudden rise in insecurity in Abuja looks like a planned attack to rubbish Wike who is the FCT minister in charge of the capital!!

I stand corrected.

To me it looks like some high forces want to show Wike shege and show him say no be only am get power

Because the way this insecurity take rise in Abuja.. it's not normal!!!! At all

Abuja was not this bad during Buhari regime
Then why all of a sudden after Wike rift with his enemies.
Suddenly FCT begin to experience this attacks

It looks funded and co ordinated as an effort to make FCT ungovernable for Wike.

I still stand corrected

I disagree with you on this! You see when a small issue is not dealt with accordingly it grows, another thing about evil generally is that it loves to grow and take more territory. At first this insecurity issue was taken to be a far northern affair and we failed as a Nation to deal with it and curtain it there, hence the spread. If nothing is done about it it will get down south here it's just a matter of time.
Family / Re: What Should I Do by Yelight(m): 4:43pm On Jan 15
You are handling the situation in a wrong way. The first thing you need now is not the baby but forgiveness from the mother first. Tell her you are truly sorry and explain how childish, unreasonable and fearful you were but she she forgive you, when she does seeing the child is minor

A big f— to that. Just gambling.

You don't go back to do Masters when you don't have a job. Your career is what supposed to determine the area you should do Masters. But these, people do PG studies ignorantly simply because because they have money or feel that's what they need to get a job.

Once you can determine your career direction, you can do your PG and stay there, then continue to advance to PhD and professional certifications. From there, those advance degrees and certifications will earn you promotion and you keep going. You don't do a PG program blindly.

Well said!!!

If this Dangote refinery doesn't in any way reduce the price of petroleum products in the country then it is of no benefit to the common man....

I hope it does sincerely but from Dangote's antecedent every business he venture into in Nigeria usually lead to increase in the price of that product. Compare price of noodles, salt, sugar, cement before he came in and when he joined...

As good as this sound, are the lecturers in these institutions capable of handling these areas or it's going to be another theoretical degree where the teachers can't put to practice what they teach?

So the lady should prepare for another round of punishment now because her outburst according to the NA statement is "unprofessional" hence punishable and failure to exhaust all channels before the outburst, another punishable offence, so she will statement her defense on minus(-2) two already while the said senior officers are innocent until she can prove from her -2 level to the FRIENDS of the senior officers that they truly made her life miserable. What a Nation!!!

It is bad thing for a leader to be dull and worse when your followers know very well that their boss is very dull. All these were happening under Buhari. Till now Buhari is the worst thing that ever happen to Nigeria, worse than the civil war!!!

Politics / Re: Edison Ehie Withdraws Suit Against 25 Rivers Assembly Members by Yelight(m): 3:15am On Jan 05
Cantonese:
Withdrawing the suit does not end the matter.
PDP is in court trying to ensure that the said 25 do not remain in the house. What Ehie has done is to leave PDP to handle the constitutional matter through the courts. That’s the same position with Fubara.

You get sense

Politics / Re: The Display Of Insensitivity At Lucky Aiyedatiwa's Inauguration (Video) by Yelight(m): 8:13am On Dec 29, 2023
OndoEyes:

It was needed to rejoice and dance on the same day his boss just died? Aiyedatiwa was nothing before Aketi brought him to contest with him and this is how he repaid him. Nothing can justify this treacherous act

I agree with you if you mean the inauguration could have been done in a more solemn way but that he was nothing before Aketi found him is not true. Aketi in fact needed his kind of popularity to retain the vote from the southern senatorial district after Agboola betrayed him and left.

How was he disloyal to his late boss, in what way exactly?

One legacy I'm very proud Akeredolu left behind is

- STANDING FIRM WITH YORUBAS.
- DETERRING FOOL ANI HERDSMEN CRIMINALS
- CREATION OF AMOTEKUN

RIP AKETI!

One thing I'm very sure of now is, that idìot deputy who took over from him will be the most useless and WORST governor Ondo State ever had.
He's currently the happiest man alive for this news of Aketi's death... He'll sure not live forever as well.

SAVE THIS POST!

What has the deputy gotten to do with this?
Some cabal wanted to impeach him for their personal gain and he defended his mandate. I'm sure you would have done more under the same circumstance!!!

It's 2023 for Godsake.
You guys should stop this stereotype.
Many of us any had a single parents in our life and we become the best of best in the society while those with both parents upbringing can't stand where we stand.

Fyi, it's still the same men that made these mothers single.

I was on IG few weeks ago, a video on Reels pop up on my page. This lady was crying bitterly and cursing the kidnappers that kidnapped her husband, got ransom money and still killed him.
She just gave birth to Twins.
I can bet the kidnappers are male like the Op.
From the video, this lady make not get married again and focus on the kids.

Though, I won't lie. Fathers play a significant role in a child growth, but when he is not there, won't the child still grow?

As a male, I have few friends who are deadbeats around me.I do fight them a lot from playing their fatherly role. You Dont have to be with the mother of your kids to play your part.

I know of one or two old men begging their kids now for forgiveness because they were not there when the kids needed them.

DEAR MEN, STOP BEING A DEADBEAT!!!!
And to the ladies, be careful out there, Dont let some little money he spent on your open your leg and assume he is responsible. Also, trying to have good character helps build a good relationship with your man.

Very balance

Obaofaba:
Impeach that guy asap.

No time, after the impeachment, he can go to court.

I don't support illegalities but once someone feed and in live in it, there's need to ruthlessly deal with him.

Demolishing the state house is hight of lawlessness.

Passing budget by four people is treasonable.

Moving the four people to your bedroom to do your biddings is unsurpation.

Declaring vacant the seat of the majority of the house by four people is treasonable and punished by death.

Do you have a quorum to sit talk more of deliberating?

Illegalities can't be used to cure illegalities.

There's a court judgement on ground before the bought judgement at the state high court, if the judge didn't vacate the useless order, he should be recommend for sack by the NJC.

Talk dey cheap
Legality and number are two different things.
1. Demolishing the state house of Assembly building is not good but it is also not lawlessness just a professional advise to avoid casualty in case the building collapse.

2. Passing budget by 4 people is the right thing to do since it's only the 4 people that are legally recognize by the law as the others have defected to another party and have made their seats vacant until INEC conduct another election and governance must continue.

3. Nobody move anybody to any bedroom the said place the 4 members used still belong to Rivers state not Fubura's personal property.
