It has been a while but the need to share burns.

As we are heading to the dry season, many who lean towards cropping have their thoughts circling around the availability of water. Anyone who wants to run a profitable crop farming business should not be dependent on rainfall because you need to plant all year round and harvest all year round......it is very possible!

Access to water 365 days a year is very central thus harvesting all year round. Don't be a crop farmer that is rain-dependent, you cheat yourself. Everything is possible if you push along the extra mile.

Now to other things. Going through different threads, I read where questions such as:

Will cucumber grow in Edo State?
Will Chilli thrive in Imo State?

Some years back while working in Awka, I experimented growing cucumber in a perforated old plastic bucket which was kept at the balcony, I did get a good harvest and more importantly the conviction that things are possible, unlearning irrational beliefs.

Exotic crops like strawberry is very possible outside areas like Plateau state because knowledge overrides myths.

Somewhere in the southwest within the next 10months, organic strawberries will be harvested in tonnes...#codedgist!

Very possible, my cousin schooled in DELSU (Delta state), he was originally deployed to the north but he redeployed back to Delta(state of origin) and was posted to our own LGA headquarters for his PPA, just 100 card bike to villa. Dude was flexing NYSC, he will just take bike to meet grandma at home, eat fresh homemade meal, carry enough food and 100naira back to his PPA

ASUU strike and what have you. my friends in other departments are already pursuing their MSc and am here waiting for NYSC time table like kilode . God time is the best sha.

Good morning to you all ... Pls listen and listen very​ well and pass it to those that are not in group chat .. if you don't have admission letter go and obtain regularization form in jamb now before the commencement of nysc... so that you'll not fall victim of not going to service this year ...
Procedure for it ... Go to jamb site create a portal with Gmail account .. after then log in your reg no and necessary things .. if you've been given admission by jamb when​ you enter university .. you will see your admission letter on it but if not you will go and obtain regularization form and do the necessary things after that you will go and summit to VC'S and after may be 4weeks your admission letter will be sent to your Gmail account ... Please is for your own good
[9/21, 13:01] Maryam Agric: HOW TO DO JAMB REGULARIZATION FOR NYSC REGISTRATION
It is compulsory for all graduates to be cleared by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to qualify for mobilization by the NYSC.
Students that were not admitted through JAMB will have to apply for regularization in order to register for
NYSC mobilization .
The JAMB regularization for 2017 NYSC Registration is also called late application and it attracts a fee of N10,000.
The application steps are as follows:
1. Create a Profile
2. Make Payment
3. Download and Print forms
4. Append Signature by relevant authorities
5. Upload printed forms
Students that needs regularization are:
those admitted through Pre-Degree programme (PDS) without JAMB registration number.
those admitted through JAMB mode but found no admission information on the JAMB website.
those admitted through institutions entrance examination without JAMB UTME registration number.
