pls help!!...I want to know if I still have a chance?

applied for Information and Communication Science with an upper credit in Mass Comm and 76%in post utme and yet to be admitted and am made to understand its cos of wrong combination....

I chose ICS instead of mass comm cos I didn't have the required literature in my o'level back then ( I have a new result now with literature) and people told me then that I can't use awaiting result......I thought both course were related as its same faculty..... do I still have a chance
