Na wa 4 una....o, this 'gentle man' (well after his show of doggedness and attack of tantrums @Arik, i would rather refer to him as 'strong willed') shouldn't be lambasted in such a manner, as you all or @list most have decided to engage him in a baseless flood of insults.I wonder when fighting for your rights became so much of a public offense that a victory over the incompetence and lack of professionalism of a coporate entity irrationally irritates the common sense of a group of Nigerians who i'm presently forced to think are either 'hired by the said organisation', 'slept and woke up on the wrong side of their national consciousness' or are basically too finger happy to press letters on their keypads which have obviously lost their right place for words.This is a simple case of fighting for justice, and justice won is justice deserved, so we should commend this fearless young man for standing up against a wrong when most of us would have ordinarily be consumed by the stress of fighting back, a lack of knowledged of our fundamental rights, or a zero orientation of what it is to stand up for something, which i think is the problem being faced by many Nigerians today. We constantly watch the vices of our governmentt and others in high places take a joy ride over our self esteem while we 'sitdown-look!' and foolishly think situation would change hands by cowardly being akimbo. Well, kudos to you if you feel an ipad is so much of a cheap & worthless device that if stolen does not worth the stress of recovering, @least some of us earn a living by a sweats drop and when we loose our hard earned belongings it unjustifies the labour of our hands and more so loosing it by a systematic series of criminality. Ok! How do you justify the sudden disapearance of your belonging onboard a flight and suddenly someone lays claim to finding it and puting it back in your bag without any tag identification to proove it is yours? & the government says they are looking for bokoharam when an Arik staff has such superpowers...! Mhennn i tire for some Nigerians...o, I really dont see how common sense in this case is too diffuse to detect.Abeg free this guy and cover your faces in shame, coz were he stood up to fight for HIS justice some of you 'dared' not, and cowardly let injustice rape value out of your self esteem & national consciousness.Nigerians, lets begin to be critical, and only in unity of ideology;political or social- can we kick against corruption and injustice in our society.Together we can divert all these wasted energy into something worth fighting for and feeling irritated about- Our leaders are looting the nations treasury on a daily basis, petroleum resources are constantly being hijacked under our nose, electricity is still epileptic, our roads still form a death trap to our lives and safety, kidnappers are everywhere and we are here castigating just one person who took it upon himself to risk his life and resources to fight for something that didnt seem right.Wake-up people, i rest my case!

Well, to be realistic I don't think there is really much one can do about dubious agents, I believe a great deal of the responsibility lies in the hands of the clients/prospective dealers to be more vigilant, tactical and well informed, besides this is an open forumn so I doubt if there could be a concrete measure put in place to totally curb this,but as a mitigate I believe the best bet would be to create a black-list alert! on the ones who have been 'verified' dubious by investigation and personal experiences by nairalanders. I for one just joined this forumn a few days ago based on a referal with a property posted for sale, and I have had 2meetings already with contacts goten from here which was very successful.Now, with a blacklist initiative, I as an agent (altho not primarilly but for the purpose of this said property)would obviously work towards protecting my integrity so as not to taint my image for a future deal.May God help us!
