Weh done, I greet u. Pls can you send me the list of application documents for the study visa or how can I get it from the embassy. I need this checklist please. I appreciate millibond: Hi Everyone!!You guys are all doing great.
I have a question to ask about legalization
1. After legalizing your certificate at the Ministry's of Education and Foreign affairs, do you still need to legalize the certificate at the embassy? If so, do you need separate appointment to do the legalization at the embassy and then separate appointment for visa interview?
2. Do you need the certificate translated to Hungarian before making the application?
3. finally do you know the costs in the case you have to both legalize and translate at the Hungarian embassy?
The question above is based on the part of the visa requirement that is confusing me find below:
Linguistic knowledge may be verified by:
· a language certificate in proof of language proficiency examination,
· an official diploma in proof of studies in a foreign language,
· other reliable means.
Moreover, please note that an authentic instrument made out abroad, and any private document certified by a foreign court, administrative body, notary public or any other person vested with authority to issue authentic documents shall – unless any regulation pertaining to the case in question, an international agreement or the principle of reciprocity suggests otherwise – be considered affirmative proof according to Hungarian laws if endorsed by the Hungarian diplomatic or consular mission in the country where it was issued. A document made out in a language other than Hungarian shall be accepted only with the certified Hungarian translation attached, unless otherwise prescribed by any legislation pertaining to the type of case in question.
Thanks alot people |

What was your project topic at the university. 3. If I am good at programming JAVA and Networking. 4. What's my background in Computer science like. That's all, they jus wanna know if you can speak fluent English and know your bachelors degree background basically. Make sure your skype microphone is working well or jus test skype call with your friends first before that day to make sure everything works so you won't have any issues that day. yes boss Jeffrey09: Oh yeah another advice the money on the account you are using as proof of financial means, there you always be at least the amount that is on the account balance statement or the amount you put as available savings. One guy when i went to interview had issues because he used the money after his application and interview and was denied. So until you get the visa you should always have that amount at least in the account |

I don come again oh, pls oh make una epp me oh....
For the visa application for sponsor, should I use my place of employment as sponsor sending me for the masters or should I use self sponsor or family sponsor?
I was thinking place of employment as sponsor will show ties to Nigeria (I will provide my leave letter from the company and also write in my motivational letter that my company is sponsoring me for the masters because of a project that they want to launch soon) and hopefully convince the visa officer that I will return after the masters will give me a higher chance of getting the visa compared to family or self sponsor.
Please advise me abeg

Before you wire down to their school. |

thank you @fikki1 for the insight fikki1: Belgian Embassy will only legalise authorised signature..... Which means it must have MOE N MOFA legalisation... MOFA will only legalise ur school certificate if its legalised by MOE.....it means
MOE leads to MOFA which leads to Belgian Embassy.... |

Good evening my people oh.... thanks to everyone one that has been contributing to this topic. God go bless all of us. We are really learning. I want to ask concerning admission to Ghent University. It concerns legalisation of my documents because they said I should send a hard copy of my documents by post before I can be considered for admission. So I want to ask if I have to authenticate my documents at the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs then take it to the Belgian Embassy for Legalisation before sending by courier to the school OR I should only legalise at the Belgian Embassy and send send as courier to the school. I am asking because the first option of Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs then Belgian Legalisation will be very expensive for me. Pls guys, I believe in you. Epp me abeg. Thank you sir for more clarification. I appreciate wingeddove: @ yomyjoe, Namebds4 ,have clarified that. Your sponsor can be in Nigeria or outside. But from my experience so far,Sponsors abroad seem to be better. All your sponsor need is to fill a sponsorship form at the Belgium embassy he/she resides. There must be evidence that your sponsor is capable of giving u an average of like 630 euros every month. They will get this from your sponsor's financial document he/she is going to tender.Check through old posts, this have clearly been explained.Otherwise, you can as well use the solvency method whereby you are expected to transfer a certain amount of money to a student blocked account operated by your school. The amount depend on each schools but it can range from 7620 euros to 8000 euros. Consult you school for adequate information on this.Always remember to do this processing much early because student visa processing could take time. |
Travel › Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by yomyjoe(m): 9:56pm On Nov 16, 2016 |
Thank you very much sir... I appreciate your explanation. Now I understand. Blessings @namebdis4 namebdis4: You need to block the money for an academic year. That is 12 months, the minimum of living expenses per month currently is 631 euro. This year this sum may be increased. So it may be 650 euro. So the amount you will need to transfer is 12 x 650 euros.
The school has made a system for block account. So contact them and they wll tell u the procedure. |

To book appointments call this number 080-34338778 between 9am -10am. the appointment they will give you could be in 2 to 3 months and then you have to wait for about 3 to 4 weeks (sometimes longer) for the Visa or refusal to come out. Get all your papers ready before you go to the embassy and try to be there on time on the day of your interview. Always try and keep eye contacts during interview ( it is very important in Austria). Prepare before you go ( do your homework) what you dont know, ask them to repeat the question and quickly think of something wise to answer. Check your documents very well and make sure there are no contradictions. The other thing you can do is to pray. Your applications are sent to different people in most cases. Depending on who is handling it, it could take long of short. sometime they group files in alphabetical order of surnames or date of births.
I wish you guys all the best.
