This is very useful. I get distracted by my mobile phone a lot! These are great tips for me to get better focused on what really matters, not some small screen constantly trying to waste my time. Thanks for the great article

You mention Calvin Coolidge's tax cuts. I honestly believe he was the greatest president the United States ever had. If he'd stayed president I don't think we would have even had the great depression. This is really what it comes down to, great presidents stay out of the economy, and bad presidents muddle with it.

Tax cuts are great but really, we should just aim to keep the government out of the economy.

This is nice but the best advice is really to just avoid your phone altogether when you don't want distractions. I usually just turn mine off. One thing that helps productivity though are binaural beats. They actually improve brain function, so sometimes it's not about actively avoiding distractions but merely passively avoiding the mechanisms in your brain that allow you to become distracted.

The funny thing is that I found this article while distracted on my phone. The irony is that it got me off my phone and onto my work. hah
