The whole idea of the law of attraction is to be a co creator with God in manifesting the things that are deepest to your heart. The whole idea of the law of attraction is to be a co creator with God in manifesting the things that are deepest to your heart. When you use the law of attraction in the right way you can experience manifesting your desires at a much faster rate than you ever would have had you not made the effort to use it correctly. You can use the law of attraction to manifest faster results by taking the following steps. 1. Be Grateful Now Gratitude can dramatically change your life but best of all it gets the law of attraction to give you more of what you are feeling grateful and happy for. When you are feeling frustrated and down the law of attraction gives you more reasons to feel down. You manifest more situations that make you feel unhappy. So as the first rule to manifesting faster results begin to see all the things in your present life that you are grateful for no matter how simple it is. 2. Speak of It It may seem hypocritical at first when you learn of the law of attraction to speak of your desires as if they are already here. In reality all things are already created. The moment a thought is conceived you have brought it into your reality. The more you speak of that thought the stronger it becomes and the faster it moves into your state of being. Think of a child who becomes eager about the thing he or she wants. See how eager they are about it? They look up pictures about it, they speak about what they will do when they get it. They don’t worry about how or when it will come, they just know and above all they are excited about it. Speak with joy about what will come into your life because your words and thoughts about it feeds that creation and brings it to you faster. 3. Surround Yourself With The Things You Desire You maybe asking, how can I surround myself with the things that I want if I don't have it? It may not be yours at the moment but you can borrow, you can visit, above all you can place yourself in the environment and among the people who are closely link to the things you desire. The successful application of the law of attraction depends on you already being in that energy of what you want. It is up to you to create the state that you want to attract and you do so by being among the things that you want until it is fully yours. The law of attraction will give you quite easily what you bring into your focus, whether you are speaking of it or observing it. You get more of what you surround yourself with. 4. Let Go!!! Let go of what you want. Yes, let it go. Know that you desire to experience a particular thing but don't hold on out of fear of doubt. The more you cling on to the needing or wanting feeling the more disastrous your manifesting will be. You will only succeed in feeling more needy. Allow yourself to feel full and confident. Those who understand how the universe and the laws of attraction work easily understand the power of their intention and don't feel stress or needy. They create and know that the law of attraction is working for them and what they create will soon manifest. They create then let go and move into the state of receiving. There is a great paradox that comes with letting go because a very large part of manifesting requires that you give a lot of focus to your desire but there is a delicate balancing act of focus without feeling needy or being clingy. 5. Learn to Receive To activate the law of attraction you must move into the state of receiving. This is something most people cannot do. Many people say that they want certain things but few people know how to receive those things that they are asking for. Most people feel doubtful or unworthy about what they want. Deep within they feel that they do not deserve nor will they get what they are asking for. Those tiny feeling of unworthiness are giant blocks in the manifesting process and can only serve in destroying what you are hoping to attract. The law of attraction is a science that takes you deep into your inner nature and allows you to see where you are feeling disconnected as a co-creator with God and the universe. Become worthy and allow yourself to receive. 6. Become Worthy Now Become worthy by recognizing that you can manifest anything that you want because you are Gods and Goddesses and what you desire is only a tiny speck in the universe. You deserve to manifest what you want because when you are rich you influence those around you in positive ways. When you use the law of attraction to manifest a better life you are in the flow and in a better state of adding value to the world. The faster you can feel worthy of what you desire to manifest the faster it will come. One of the biggest blocks in manifesting is the feeling of unworthiness that most people feel. God wants you to have, the universe is great enough and there is more than enough for you and everyone else. You are worthy!. 7. Give What You Desire Most You may not have all the money in the world for yourself but you do have something of value and that thing which is of value to you may be in scarce supply to someone else. Give to others and you will be stunned and amazed by how fast the law of attraction will manifest abundance in your life. There is a natural flow in the universe and in order to manifest more you must also be in the flow of giving. Give to others as long as you do not give more of yourself. There are many flawed concepts of giving more than you have, this is very faulty. Give only what you can, never ever deplete yourself. Give what makes you feel happy to give. Give with love on a regular basis but also be aware of conserving your own and the law of attraction will bless you by bringing to you much more than you give. As you give you will get and you will manifest much more than you could ever have imagined and much faster too.

With many young designers coming from a pre-dominantly web design background the transfer over from web design to traditional design for print can bring with it a multitude of design sins. 1. Using web graphics on printed material. With many young designers coming from a pre-dominantly web design background the transfer over from web design to traditional design for print can bring with it a multitude of design sins. Images supplied at 72dpi and crunched down to load fast on a website are going to reproduce very badly in print you can get away with small thumbnails but blowing things up to any appreciable size is going to be pushing your luck. There are a number of online sites offering free or very cheap quality hi resolution images which are a good source for suitable imagery. 2. Forgetting about or not allowing enough bleed. A very common error is to send to print a document or flattened image that has no bleed at all. Generally speaking you should allow at least 3mm around every cut off edge. Failing to do so will give the printers no leeway and will either crop off the side of the page or give you a white border. It is always a good idea when supplying image files to save layered psd files then if things need extending or cropping you can do this on the background layer and hopefully cut down your work 3. Using obscure fonts and not embedding or outlining them for output. We've all been guilty of this at some point and things are generally fine if you are going to be the only person accessing your artwork or documents. However if someone else needs to amend the files or use your vector logo on one of there publications. Unless you package up the used fonts, they are not going to be able to open the files correctly and some software programs may replace any unknown fonts with a default. This is a particular problem when you need to dig out stuff that was created several years previously and you no longer have your old fonts installed. 4. Supplying print ready artwork using spot colours or rgb There are valid reasons for using spot colours in artwork, logos that need to reference particular pantone colours for example. In general design work however most print is sent through on 4 colour presses CMYK with occasional 5th colour for luminoius or metallic colour or for spot UV varnish. It is very common for lazy designers to just place rgb images into files and expect the vibrant colours seen on screen to reproduce in print. 5. Allowing design illiterate clients to lead you round the houses The customer is always right, goes the old adage. However it is often said with gritted teeth and a sense of patience that recognizes that these morons will at some stage be handing over a fat cheque for your troubles. It is often a good idea when first submitting visuals to throw in a couple of stinkers to hopefully get them to appreciate the design you would like them to accept. There is the very real danger of course of them loving the piece of absolute arsewipe that you knocked up in five minutes to make them think you've been earning your money. Still it's a living.

These are the people who inspire me! Ive studied them, and Ive noticed they have the following traits in common We have all read about people who are successful briefly. They win a gold medal, make a fortune, or star in one great movieand then disappear. Or, there are those like Marilyn Monroe and Howard Hughes who achieve extraordinary success, at the cost of their own lives. These examples do not inspire me! My focus and fascination is with people who seem to do well in many areas of life, and do it over and over through a lifetime. In entertainment, I think of Paul Newman and Bill Cosby. In business, I think of Ben and Jerry (the ice cream moguls), and a local hardware store owner who is famous for the money hes give to childrens charities. As a Naval Officer, husband, businessman, politician and now as a mediator and philanthropist on the world stage, Jimmy Carter has had a remarkable life. We all know examples of people who go from one success to another. These are the people who inspire me! Ive studied them, and Ive noticed they have the following traits in common: 1. They work hard! Yes, they play hard, too! They get up early, they rarely complain, they expect performance from others, but they expect extraordinary performance from themselves. Repeated, high-level success starts with a recognition that hard work pays off. 2. They are incredibly curious and eager to learn. They study, ask questions and read constantly! An interesting point, however: While most of them did well in school, the difference is that they apply or take advantage of what they learn. Repeated success is not about memorizing facts, its about being able to take information and create, build, or apply it in new and important ways. Successful people want to learn everything about everything! 3. They network. They know lots of people, and they know lots of different kinds of people. They listen to friends, neighbors, co-workers and bartenders. They dont have to be “the life of the party”, in fact many are quiet, even shy, but they value people and they value relationships. Successful people have a rolodex full of people who value their friendship and return their calls. 4. They work on themselves and never quit! While the “over-night wonders” become arrogant and quickly disappear, really successful people work on their personality, their leadership skills, management skills, and every other detail of life. When a relationship or business deal goes sour, they assume they can learn from it and they expect to do better next time. Successful people dont tolerate flaws; they fix them! 5. They are extraordinarily creative. They go around asking, “Why not?” They see new combinations, new possibilities, new opportunities and challenges where others see problems or limitations. They wake up in the middle of the night yelling, “Ive got it!” They ask for advice, try things out, consult experts and amateurs, always looking for a better, faster, cheaper solution. Successful people create stuff! 6. They are self-reliant and take responsibility. Incredibly successful people dont worry about blame, and they dont waste time complaining. They make decisions and move on. Sometimes they are criticized for taking this to extremes Jimmy Carter carried his own briefcase and a President “shouldnt” do that! Extremely successful people take the initiative and accept the responsibilities of success. 7. They are usually relaxed and keep their perspective. Even in times of stress or turmoil, highly successful people keep their balance, they know the value of timing, humor, and patience. They rarely panic or make decisions on impulse. Unusually successful people breath easily, ask the right questions, and make sound decisions, even in a crisis. 8. Extremely successful people live in the present moment. They know that “Now” is the only time they can control. They have a “gift” for looking people in the eye, listening to what is being said, enjoying a meal or fine wine, music or playing with a child. They never seem rushed, and they get a lot done! They take full advantage of each day. Successful people dont waste time, they use it! 9. They “look over the horizon” to see the future. They observe trends, notice changes, see shifts, and hear the nuances that others miss. A basketball player wearing Nikes is trivial, the neighbor kid wearing them is interesting, your own teenager demanding them is an investment opportunity! Extremely successful people live in the present, with one eye on the future! 10. Repeatedly successful people respond instantly! When an investment isnt working out, they sell. When they see an opportunity, they make the call. If an important relationship is cooling down, they take time to renew it. When technology or a new competitor or a change in the economic situation requires an adjustment, they are the first and quickest to respond. These traits work together in combination, giving repeatedly successful people a huge advantage. Because they are insatiable learners, they can respond wisely to change. Because their personal relationships are strong, they have good advisors, and a reserve of goodwill when things go bad. And finally, none of these traits are genetic! They can be learned! They are free and they are skills you can use. Start now!

Try some of these ten ways to clearer thinking. Make one or two of them a habit, and you'll have more brainpower permanently. Does your mind sometimes feel like a television station you can't quite tune in? You know there's an interesting program on - or several, but everything is mixed with static. What if you could "tune in" at will, have clear thinking whenever you want it? Try some of the following. Ten Clear Thinking Techniques And Tips 1. Take a walk. Science will eventually prove this to be a great way to improve the quality of your thinking, but don't wait for the proof. Aren't there enough other reasons to take a walk anyhow? 2. Stay away from sugar. If you want to understand what brain fog is, eat a sugary donut on an empty stomach, then do math problems twenty minutes later. What you will experience, along with the "sugar blues," is brain fog. At least lay off sugar and simple carbohydrates when you need to think clearly. 3. Organized space means clear thinking. It's rare that a person can actually work better in clutter. Organised working space means you won't have the thought "where is that..." distracting your mind. 4. Get better sleep. Sleep requirements vary, but the minimum for most is somewhere around five hours. Some suffer if they sleep less than eight hours. The research, however, indicates that after a certain minimum quantity, the quality of sleep is more important to normal brain function. 5. Try meditating. No time? Just close your eyes, relax, and watch your breath for a while. Accept that your mind will wander, but continually return your attention to your breath. Five minutes of this, and afterwards you'll feel a boost in your brainpower. read more 👇 https://swiftskill.systeme.io/swiftskill/10-steps-to-clear-thinking

Every job has stress, but the workplace environment can seem almost unbearable when working for an over-demanding or unfair boss. You dont have to like your boss, but you do need to be able to co-exist and co-operate with him for you to be productive and successful at your job. Other than a change taking place, as I discussed in the article Unhappy at Work? A Change is Coming, there is no perfect solution for dealing with a difficult boss, but here are five suggestions that might make your situation a little less painful. #1) Think of your boss as a parent and you as his teenage child. This sounds silly at first, but the relationship between you and your boss is very similar to that between a parent and child. Teenagers often have problems with authority and experience disagreements with their parents. Meanwhile, parents often create rules the child believes to be unfair. If the situation gets bad enough, as soon as the child is old enough he finds a way to move out and make it on his own. Parents arent perfect and neither are bosses – both will make mistakes. #2) Do the absolute best job you can. Sometimes the child misbehaves. J. Paul Getty once said, The employer generally gets the employees he deserves. Make sure you are the type of employee you would want working for you if you were the boss. I know this goes against the notion of revenge and tucking it to an unfair boss whenever possible, but by doing the best job possible you give the unfair boss less ammunition he can use to make your life miserable. He also might think twice about upsetting one of his better employees when there are plenty of other, easier targets he can take aim at. Dont draw attention to yourself. Unless you are the only one your boss has it in for, there should be plenty of others to draw his wrath away from you. Let someone else wear the target on their back. #3) Learn all that you can from an unfair boss. continue reading 👇 https://swiftskill.systeme.io/swiftskill/5-tips-for-surviving-an-unfair-boss

A web site is a crucial ingredient of your marketing strategy because it can widen your target market to include anyone who has access to a computer and the internet. A web site is a crucial ingredient of your marketing strategy because it can widen your target market to include anyone who has access to a computer and the internet. Almost 60% of Canadians had access to the internet at home in 2003, and around 8 million had regular access to the internet from somewhere, either at home, at work or at school. And thats just in Canada. Ecommerce sales from Canada were $7.2 billion, and we only captured 4% of the global ecommerce market! So, how can you reach some of those internet surfers, and how can you capture some of that $7.2 billion spent in ecommerce? First, you build it The first step is designing your website. If your company already has business cards and letterhead, its best to design your website around them. A matching corporate identity and website helps with branding. I like uncomplicated websites, with a simple layout and easy navigation. A nice, simple layout, with good graphics, balanced look and good color combinations is my #1 goal when designing a small business web site. Remember to use graphics sparingly and to optimize them for your website because internet surfers are impatient. If your page loads too slowly, theyll leave. Navigation should be easy to find and to use, and it should be consistent from page to page. Ive left more than one site frustrated because I couldnt easily find their navigation. Small business web sites arent static. They evolve. You need to start somewhere, and starting with an introductory web site is probably easiest. All you really need to start is five pages. You can always add pages later. The important thing is to just do ittake the plunge and get it out there. Your five pages could include an index, or home page, about us, services, contact and a sitemap. The index page is your landing page. Typically its design is a little more detailed than the others, but it doesnt have to be that way. I like to use CSS (cascading style sheets) for designing because its simply easier to build a web site and to edit its layout with CSS rather than just HTML (hypertext markup language) alone. A change on a CSS sheet changes all the pages on your site at once. Content is king Once your site is designed, youll want to start thinking about content. Design is very important, but it does little good to have a beautiful site without high-quality content. Your small business home page introduces you and your companywho you are and what you do. The about us page is usually used to give more detail than the home page about who you are, and your services page gives more detail about what you do. You might wonder why youd waste a page on a sitemap since you only have 5 pages, but sitemaps help search engines find all the pages in your site. As far as content goes, more is better, up to a point. Your pages should be content rich and informative, but they also need to be relevant to your small business. If your visitor cant figure out what your web site is about in just a few seconds, they may leave. The internet was at first strictly informational, and thats how it remains today. Several times people have tried experiments using copywriting similar to direct mail sales letters, but theyve all failed. It seems as if people surf the internet more for information than anything else. Knowing this will help you write pages people will want to read. Attracting visitors You could follow your instinct and just start writing, but wait. Theres research you must do first, or your web site simply wont be high enough in searches to be found. Search engine optimization is far too big a subject to cover in this short article, but among other things, search engines find your pages based on keywords. So, pretend for a moment that youre on the other side of the desk. If you were a customer of your own business, what words or phrases would you use to search for your product or service? Ask friends and neighbors how theyd search for your product or services. When youve come up with a few, check them out on a keyword suggestions tool. You can also use that tool to suggest similar words and phrases. Then find out how many results there would be if you searched for that term. What you want to do next is narrow down your choices to the words or phrases that are searched for the most, but have the fewest results. Remember that people generally dont look beyond the first three pages for any search term, so if youre not in the top three pages, your business is not likely to be found at all. If there are millions of results for your phrase, you might simply need to make it more specific. For example, lets say you have a small business consulting company that specializes in communication for small business. Using communication as a search term is nearly pointless because there are almost 2 billion results for that word. But, there are only 974 results for small business communication. Much better, but how often is that searched for? According to WordTracker, its searched for 10 times a day. Not bad, but I think we can do better. How about small business consulting? Thats searched for 261 times a day, and there are 373,000 results. That could be the best primary phrase for a small business communication consulting company. What you want to do, is write your content around those words and phrases. You dont want or need very manythree or four are plenty. Getting them to come back again and again Getting visitors to come back to your site again and again is relatively simple. Keep your content fresh and lively, make sure its informative, and add to it often. I hope you decide your small business needs a web site. Its the best way I know how to reach a wider target audience with a relatively small investment. Stay Sharp 👇 https://swiftskill.systeme.io/swiftskill/posts

Would you believe that 80% of your sales most likely come from 20% of your customers? The reality is that this is undoubtedly the case for the majority of businesses, small and large The reality is that this is undoubtedly the case for the majority of businesses, small and large. This means that more than likely, your next sale will come from someone who has already done business with you. Back in 1906, Vilfredo Pareto learned that 80% of Italy’s wealth was held by only 20% of the people. Then one day, after examining his garden, he also realized that 20% of his pea pods accounted for 80% of his pea crop yield that year. Was there a lesson here? This got him thinking, and not long after, the “Pareto Principle” was established. With the same preciseness, this same principle can be applied to business. You may know it as the 80/20 rule. This little-known principle sheds a lot of understanding on how businesses should be run. Rather than putting all your energy into new business, you would be wise to spend a reasonable amount of your time following up and servicing people who have already given you business. After all, you’ve already removed the first barrier. Upselling current customers should come naturally ? as long as you are proactive in following up and providing top-notch service. What does this mean to you? Imagine, about one-fifth of your customer base is just waiting for you to offer them something new. So if you’re not following up with your existing customers, you’re actually passing up 80% of your potential business. Of course, if you originally provided a poor experience, this may not be the case, but for businesses that operate on a principle of integrity, this should be a natural course. Think of it. You’ve probably already invested heavily in getting that first piece of business? planning, advertising, promotional activity. Now it’s time to develop their “lifetime value.” There’s lot of things you can do to show appreciation: Christmas and birthdays: a great time to send over a thoughtful gift or Email. Attend events: if your customer holds annual charity events or some sort of meeting, make sure you take the time to attend and show your support. Renewals: a great time to touch base with a notice of renewal that expresses your heartfelt appreciation for their business. Incentives: put your money where your mouth is and show your customers’ value. A gift incentive or discount can go a long way in terms of future revenues. Touch base: call your customers every so often to see how they are doing, how the product / service you sold them is performing and inquire or listen for any other needs. Use newsletter subscriptions to keep you top-of-mind. Great service: the single-best way to ensure customers will remain loyal. Go above and beyond. You’ll be surprised at how much of an advocate that customer can turn out to be in terms of referrals. Make sure you offer them more products / services that will meet real needs. If they liked you and the product they bought, they’ll buy from you again. The important thing is to always endeavor to meet the needs of your existing and future customers. The Possibilities are Endless! see more articles 👇 https://swiftskill.systeme.io/swiftskill/posts

You have graduated high school or college and now youre ready for your first real job. How can you do well at the interview so you wind up being offered the job? 1. Dress professionally. No midriff shirts, low-cut blouses or flip-flops because youre going to work and not the beach. While its not necessary to buy a suit, it is particularly important to look professional. If youre trying to get a job in a conservative office such as an accounting firm, dont dress as if you were going to a concert. If you are applying for a retail position, you have a little more freedom. Rather than list what clothing is and is not acceptable, I would tell you to dress as if you were going to meet one of the most important people in your life- because you are! 2. Make sure you are well-groomed. Dont look as though you just rolled out of bed and couldnt bother to take care of basic personal hygiene. Nothing will make the HR Manager bring the interview to a close faster than unwashed hair, dirty fingernails or body odor. As an employee, you will be a reflection of the company and no customer wants to do business with an unkempt person. 3. Be aware of your body language. A firm handshake at the start of the interview shows you are self-confident. Maintain eye contact, stay relaxed and be attentive to the interviewer. Ask questions and listen thoughtfully to the answers. Think before you answer questions from the interviewer- dont ramble and keep the conversation on the topic. 4. Be prepared for the interview. Research the company beforehand- every business now has a website where you can learn what they do and who their customers are. This shows the interviewer you are interested in the job and took the initiative to find out all you could about the company. 5. Be present in the interview. Ive interviewed candidates who acted as if they were waiting for a bus. They didnt ask questions, but instead just listened to me, and I wasnt really sure if they were paying attention. Be enthusiastic, ask questions and participate in the interview. After listing all the duties required of the position, I asked one candidate if this sounded like something shed be interested in. Her reply was a quiet, I can do the job. She didnt answer my question, she seemed indifferent, and she didnt get the job. If you cant be excited in the interview, youre not going to be energized in the workplace either. First impressions count, and you want to let the interviewer know you want the job, are willing to work hard and will do your best. You might not necessarily be the most qualified candidate, but still land the job because you were the most outstanding one. Branding is more than a logo and image or even a recognized name. It’s a person’s collective experience with a company’s product or service. A brand is a person’s overall perception of a company or product built over time. Here are four things you should keep in mind as you build your company’s brand: 1) Own the “Significant Thing”: Dole tried to be all things to all people spend your time focusing on a single clear message. Mercedes-Benz owns “ Engineering “ in the car industry because it’s focused on that singular message for decades. 2) Consistency is key: consistent presentation will ensure that your customers recognize you. Be consistent in the use of logos, taglines, visual elements, tone, and ad copy. Coca-Cola it is one of the most recognized brands in the world because they haven’t changed in decades. Make sure your brochures, website, Direct mail, and all the other advertising have the same feel and message. 3) Make your message relevant: know your audience, know what they care about and how to speak to them. Make sure what you sell is what they need. Remember the conversation should always be about your audience, not you. 4) Use a strong offer to motivate: you want your audience to remember you and you want its members to buy from you. You need to move them to action. A strong offer should give them a reason to buy. Make the offer clear and appropriate for your brand. Every time a customer comes in contact with your brand, they will have either a positive or a negative experience. Those experiences will add to their perception of your brand. Those experiences are recalled later when it’s time to make a purchasing decision. How do you want your brand to be remembered when the time comes for a prospect to buy? You need to start building that positive perception today and do whatever is necessary to maintain it. Good luck. learn something new everyday 👇 https://mryoung.systeme.io/solutionhub

Every day of your life you are selling yourself, nothing happens until you’re successful at doing that. We’re all in the selling business whether we like it or not. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a lawyer or an accountant, a manager or a politician, an engineer or a doctor. We all spend a great deal of our time trying to persuade people to buy our product or service, accept our proposals or merely accept what we say. Before you get better at persuading or influencing other people – you need to get better at self-motivation and selling yourself. Here are 10 simple steps to self-motivation: #1 – You must believe in the product Selling yourself is pretty much like selling anything. Firstly, you need to believe in what you’re selling. That means believing in “you.” It’s about lots of positive self-talk and the right attitude. The first thing people notice about you is your attitude. If you’re like most people then you’ll suffer from lack of confidence from time to time. It really all comes down to how you talk to yourself. The majority of people are more likely to talk to themselves negatively than positively – this is what holds them back in life. It isn’t just about a positive attitude; it’s about the right attitude – the quality of your thinking. Successful people have a constructive and optimistic way of looking at themselves and their work. They have an attitude of calm, confident, positive self-expectation. They feel good about themselves and believe that everything they do will lead to their inevitable success. If you’re in a sales job or a business owner or a manager then you need to continually work on your attitude. You need to listen to that little voice inside your head. Is it saying you’re on top, going for it and confident, or is it holding you back. If you’re hearing – “I can’t do this or that” or “They won’t want to buy at the moment” or “We’re too expensive” then you’d better change your self-talk or change your job. Start to believe in yourself and don’t let things that are out with your control effect your attitude. Avoid criticising, condemning and complaining and start spreading a little happiness. Remember the saying of Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company – “If you believe you can do a thing, or if you believe you can’t, in either case you’re probably right.” #2 – The packaging must grab attention Like any other product we buy, the way the product is packaged and presented will influence the customer’s decision to buy. Everything about you needs to look good and you must dress appropriately for the occasion. And don’t think that just because your customer dresses casually, that they expect you to dress the same way. The style and colour of the clothes you wear, your spectacles, shoes, briefcase, watch, the pen you use, all make a statement about you. #3 – Smile No need to get carried away, you don’t need a big cheesy grin, just a pleasant open face that doesn’t frighten people away. #4 – Use names Use the customers name as soon as you can but don’t over do it. Business is less formal nowadays however be careful of using first names initially. Make sure your customer knows yours and remembers it. You can do the old repeat trick -“My name is Bond, James Bond” or “My name is James, James Bond” #5 – Watch the other person What does their body language tell you? Are they comfortable with you or are they a bit nervous? Are they listening to you or are their eyes darting around the room. If they’re not comfortable and not listening then there’s no point telling them something important about your business. Far better to make some small talk and more importantly -get then to talk about themselves. It’s best to go on the assumption that in the first few minutes of meeting someone new, they won’t take in much of what you say. They’re too busy analysing all the visual data they’re taking in. #6 – Listen and look like you’re listening. Many people, particularly men, listen but don’t show that they’re listening. The other person can only go on what they see, not what’s going on inside your head. If they see a blank expression then they’ll assume you’re “out to lunch.” The trick is to do all the active listening things such as nodding your head, the occasional “UH-HUH” and the occasional question. #7 – Be interested. If you want to be INTERESTING then be INTERESTED. This really is the most important thing you can do to be successful at selling yourself. The majority of people are very concerned about their self-image. If they sense that you value them, that you feel that they’re important and worth listening to, then you effectively raise their self-image. If you can help people to like themselves then they’ll LOVE you. Don’t fall into the trap of flattering the other person, because most people will see right through you and they won’t fall for it. Just show some genuine interest in the customer and their business and they’ll be much more receptive to what you say. #8 – Talk positively. Don’t say – “Isn’t it a horrible day” or “Business is pretty tough at present” or any thing else that pulls the conversation down. Say things like (and only the truth) – “I like the design of this office” or “I’ve heard some good reports about your new product.” #9 – Mirror the other person This doesn’t mean mimicking the other person, it just means you speaking and behaving in a manner that is similar to the customer. For example, if your customer speaks slowly or quietly, then you speak slowly or quietly. Remember people like people who are like themselves. #10 – Warm and friendly If you look or sound stressed or aggressive then don’t be surprised if the other person gets defensive and less than willing to co-operate. If you look and sound warm and friendly, then you’re more likely to get a positive response. This isn’t about being all nicey-nicey. It’s about a pleasant open face or a warm tone over the telephone. Before we can get down to the process of selling our product, our service or our ideas then we need to be as sure as we can be – that the customer has bought us and that we have their full attention. learn something new everyday 👇 https://mryoung.systeme.io/solutionhub

Are you thinking about approaching a Bank for finance to support your business? If you havent already gone to see the Manager then you may not know that the first thing he will want to see is your Business Plan. Are you thinking about approaching a Bank for finance to support your business? If you havent already gone to see the Manager then you may not know that the first thing he will want to see is your Business Plan. Perhaps you are not convinced that all the time and effort needed in preparing a plan is essential; if so then here are the main benefits for both you and your business. 1. No matter how good a communicator you are, you will never be able to convey your vision for the business as successfully as a perfectly put together Business Plan. It provides a clear understanding as to what you want to achieve. It allows you to express your ideas in a clearer manner. 2. Too many times business owners try to sell their idea verbally and at the end of the interview with the Bank the Manager is none the wiser than he was at the start. I think you can guess the outcome of many of those requests! 3. A Business Plan will help convince both you and the Bank of the project’s feasibility and viability. There’s nothing like having all the facts in front of you to clarify the key issues 4. Theres no getting away from the fact that a business owner who plans ahead comes across as being more ambitious and more focused. A well prepared Business Plan demonstrates you have vision and that you know what you want 5. With numerous ideas floating around in your mind, the pitfalls or stumbling blocks to success are never that visible. A mind buzzing and full of ideas will rarely achieve clarity. A Business Plan forces you to put your ideas down in writing and in an orderly manner. The result of this could be you going in a completely different direction than you initially thought of, or even abandoning your idea altogether. Not a pleasant thought, but which would you prefer? The loss of your hard capital or the opportunity to re-think your idea? 6. It is an ideal tool to monitor progress against the objectives you have set yourself (we will cover objective setting later). By checking progress against your Plan, you will be able to spot if you are moving away from your original vision and so you will know what has to be put right 7. Imagine if you didn’t have this check in place; an unnoticed change in direction or a slippage in achieving your objectives, if left uncorrected for too long, could be fatal to your business. On the other hand, it may transpire that a shift from your original vision could be a better alternative, but at least recognising this change allows you to adjust your course in a planned, structured and controlled manner 8. Every action you take has a consequence, and a Plan helps make these consequences much clearer. Being aware of the possible effect of your chosen direction allows you to plan ahead, leaving you better able to cope with whatever the world of self employment can throw at you. This is one thing that “mental planning” would not achieve 9. Putting your thoughts on paper may make you realise that you need to do more research on the demand for your product or service. It could also highlight that more investigation on your competitor’s products or services is needed. Additional research could help avoid a potentially costly mistake or even uncover a hidden advantage, which you had not seen before! 10. A Plan will guide you as to how much money is needed to make an idea work. In your mind you may have a rough figure of what youll have to commit, but until you do a Cash Flow Forecast you may not realise that an overdraft limit will be required, in addition to a loan for your equipment. If the mention of preparing a Cash Flow Forecast brings you out in a sweat, dont worry as later in the book Ill be showing you exactly how to do one 11. A Business Plan will help you get funding. One of the main reasons Banks turn down requests for loans is a lack of information to assist in making an informed decision. If the Manager doesn’t have enough knowledge about your idea or business then he won’t feel comfortable enough to support you. He has to understand your business before he can say yes. Some time in the future he may have to justify to his superiors why he lent you the money, so he needs as much information as possible to back up his decision. A Business Plan will make him feel much more at ease and so more able to say yes 12. By the time you have finished writing your Business Plan you will have a total understanding of your business; its strengths and weaknesses, the environment it operates in, what could potentially go wrong, and what you can do to ensure your success. Doing your planning on the back of an envelope is not going to achieve this You should realise by now that it’s essential to have a Business Plan; it could be the difference between success and that dreaded “f” word – failure! It’s all about understanding the importance of planning ahead. Spend time putting your thoughts on paper in a structured and logical manner. It will pay you dividends, both in getting the Bank to take you seriously and securing the future of your business. learn something new everyday 👇 https://mryoung.systeme.io/solutionhub

While we all want to increase our profits, one of the most important things to remember is that to build a business that will stand the test of time, you MUST have a strong and loyal customer base. While we all want to increase our profits, one of the most important things to remember is that to build a business that will stand the test of time, you MUST have a strong and loyal customer base. But how do you get loyalty out of a customer, especially in todays business world? I have outlined a few things that I have helped others implement that have strengthened your customer base. Most of the tips apply to those who have been in business less than 3 years, but if you are a business veteran feel free to double-check to see how many of these you do regularly: * You must research your target audience’s needs and wants. Anticipate any objections your visitors may have about your product offer. Remember, its your business, but you must appeal to your customers needs and wants. * Remember not to use outrageous or unbelievable claims in your ad copy. Dont say Biggest or Best if you are not. People are too savvy online and won’t believe you. Instead of outrageous claims, use testimonials. * If you are just starting out, pick a good name for your business and product. Your names should be memorable and describe the kind of product your offering. Many people have business titles that are a play on something else, such as the barber who called his shop The Golden Shears or Central Perk from the TV show Friends. * Solve your customer complaints by being quick and friendly. The faster you respond, the more your customers feel you care about them. This can almost always bring the customer back to you, and is more valuable than a lower price. * Never think your customers are satisfied with their purchase. You should be constantly finding new ways to better your products and services. * Market yourself, as well as your product. Remember products come and go, but you need to promote yourself and your services. Your products are secondary. To promote yourself, you could write articles, ebooks, do free consulting, do speaking engagements, etc. * Find new target audiences for your products or services. For example, if you’re selling coffee to stores try to also sell it to coffee shops. See if they will let you advertise this in their menu, with a little sticker (reprinting the menus are too expensive). * Use logos and slogans for your business. They make it easier for people to remember and identify your business. Think of Nike and their swoosh. It doesnt even have to say Nike and you know what it is. * Try to get a story written in the local paper about your business every 5 years or so. If the main paper wont do it, there are probably a few local papers that you can get to write a story. This keeps you in the public eye & it is free. I have gone to many restaurants, shops, etc, because of what I had read in the paper. * Offer free samples or trials of your product. This will let people experience your product and attract people to your business. If your in the restaurant business, make a large serving of a new dish and offer your guest samples while they wait for their main order. * Get involved with the community. Donating your products/services to schools, churches, or sponsor kids soccer or little league teams is a good way to get involved & getting your name out there. Hopefully these have helped you at least a little bit. Whether you are in a small town or a large metropolitan area, people feel more comfortable if they know who they are buying from and support. Good luck! learn something new everyday 👇 https://mryoung.systeme.io/solutionhub

Avoid these costly resume mistakes! Using a general resume. =============== DON'T DO IT! You cannot successfully use the same resume to apply to several different jobs. Your resume should be custom written for each job you are targeting. When you send out something generic, it shows apathy and lack of motivation. This is NOT the impression you want to send to your potential employers. Irrelevant content. ============ For example, if you are applying for an accounting position, don't list your lifeguard position you held back in 1989. Spouses, children, hobbies, and your favorite movie genre are also irrelevant tidbits that should remain private. Creative fonts. ========= Even if your choice looks easy to read on your screen, it may not be on someone else's screen. For example, if I use Arial, Verdana, or Times New Roman, anyone with MS Word can view these fonts. If I were to use my cool Futurama Alien Font, most likely it would look all jumbled up on someone else's system. "References Available Upon Request" ======================= This statement is unnecessary. An employer assumes that if you are job searching that you have professional references readily available. Objective statement. ============= Your resume needs a clear goal, but the traditional objective statement is outdated. Hiring managers don't care that you want a "challenging position utilizing my experience and creativity..." Everyone knows the objective is to get the interview. Instead, try using a headline followed by a compelling summary of your relevant skills. This is a better way to present what you have to offer your potential employer. Using a resume to replace a job application. ============================ A resume is not a job application. The reason for leaving your last job, previous supervisors' names, and rate of pay don't belong on your resume. This is information can hurt you more than help you, so leave it off of your resume. learn something new today 👇 https://mryoung.systeme.io/solutionhub

WARNING! If you want to have a fantastic life, never engage yourself in these 7 deadly habits that incompetent people do. NUMBER 1 – They Think, Say, & Do Negative Things. Yes. They see problems in EVERY opportunity. They complain that the sun is too hot. They cursed the rain for ruining their plans for the day. They blame the wind for ruining their hair. They think that everyone is against them. They see the problems but never the solutions. Every little bit of difficulty is exaggerated to the point of tragedy. They regard failures as catastrophes. They become discouraged easily instead of learning from their mistakes. They never seem to move forward because they’re always afraid to come out of their comfort zones. NUMBER 2 – They Act Before They Think. They move based on instinct or impulse. If they see something they like, they buy at once without any second thought. Then they see something better. They regret & curse for not able to take advantage of the bargain. Then they spend & spend again until nothing’s left. They don’t think about the future. What they’re after is the pleasure they will experience at present. They don’t think about the consequences. Those who engage in unsafe sex, criminality, and the like are included in this group. NUMBER 3 – They Talk Much More Than They Listen They want to be the star of the show. So they always engage in talks that would make them heroes, even to the point of lying. Oftentimes they are not aware that what they’re saying is not sensible anymore. When other people advise them, they close their ears because they’re too proud to admit their mistakes. In their mind they’re always correct. They reject suggestions because that will make them feel inferior. NUMBER 4 – They Give Up Easily Successful people treat failures as stepping stones to success. Incompetent ones call it quits upon recognizing the first signs of failure. At first, they may be excited to start an endeavor. But then they lose interest fairly quickly, especially when they encounter errors. Then they go & search for a new one. Same story & same results. Incompetent people don’t have the persistence to go on and fulfill their dreams. NUMBER 5 – They Try to Bring Others Down To Their Level. Incompetent people envy other successful individuals. Instead of working hard to be like them, these incompetent ones spread rumors and try every dirty trick to bring them down. They could’ve asked these successful ones nicely. But no, they’re too proud. They don’t want to ask advise. Moreover, they’re too negative to accomplish anything. NUMBER 6 – They Waste Their Time They don’t know what to do next. They may just be contented on eating, getting drunk, watching TV, or worse, staring at the blank wall with no thoughts whatsoever to improve their lives. It’s perfectly fine to enjoy once in a while. But time should be managed efficiently in order to succeed. There should be a proper balance between work & pleasure. NUMBER 7 – They Take the Easy Way Out If there are two roads to choose from, incompetent people would choose the wider road with less rewards than the narrower road with much better rewards at the end. They don’t want any suffering or hardship. They want a good life. What these people don’t know is that what you reap is what you sow. Efforts & action will not go unnoticed. If only they would be willing to sacrifice a little, they would be much better off. Successful people made it through trials & error. They never give up. They are willing to do everything necessary to achieve what they aspire for in life. learn something new today 👇 https://mryoung.systeme.io/solutionhub

A list of the Forty Most Common Interview Questions is below, but keep in mind that many other interview questions will be derived from these forty. When thinking about how you should answer each question, always consider how you can segue into one of your Key Selling Points. Consider, too, arriving at each interview with a mental list of creative ideas about what you would do in the position if you were hired, which one human resources manager says, “is a great way to impress just about any employer.” Remember that tact and discretion are of utmost importance in any interview. A common, but tricky question some interviewers ask is, “What other companies are you considering?” Here, you’ll want to be honest, without revealing too much information or indicating to the interviewer that any other job is more appealing than this one. Other questions that will require lots of diplomacy-and as little negativity as possible-include, “Why did you leave your last job?” and “What would you do differently if you were in charge of this company?” Finally, keep in mind that your interviewer’s questions may not automatically educe the kind of information she needs to know. In the end, it is up to you-the interviewee-to provide enough details about yourself and your work experience that will satisfy that ultimate question: “Why should we hire you?” 1. What are your career goals? 2. How have your career goals changed over time? 3. If offered this position, how long would you plan on staying with our company? 4. What’s your understanding of the job? 5. What could you bring to this position and to this company? 6. Why do you think you are more qualified than other candidates for this position? 7. Why do you want to work at this company? 8. What salary are you expecting? 9. What would you do differently if you were in charge of this company? 10. Name one of your weaknesses. 11. Name one your strengths. 12. Which areas of your work are most often praised? 13. Which areas of your work are most often criticized? 14. How do you think your last boss would describe you? 15. How do you think a colleague would describe you? 16. How do you think a subordinate would describe you? 17. Walk me through the important points on your resume. 18. Explain to me how your work experience is relevant to this position. 19. Why did you leave your last job? 20. What other companies are you considering? 21. Tell me about your work style. 22. Tell me what your ideal job would be like. 23. What criteria do you use for evaluating success? 24. Do you consider yourself a leader? What qualities make a good leader? 25. Tell me about a problem you’ve encountered on the job and how you dealt with it. 26. Tell me about a situation in which you failed to resolve a conflict. 27. Tell me about an occasion when you acted on someone’s suggestion. 28. Are you willing to travel for this job? 29. Are you willing to relocate for this job? 30. Describe a project that you’re especially proud of. What was your role in this project? 31. Why did you choose your college major? 32. How do you spend your spare time? 33. How do you stay current or up-to-date in this industry? 34. Tell me about a time when you used your creativity to overcome a problem. 35. Which of your skills-technical or otherwise-has most helped you on the job? 36. What new skills have you learned or developed recently? 37. Have you made an oral or written presentation recently? Start now!

Sometimes, the most difficult part of writing an essay is getting started. You might have an outline already and know what you want to write, but struggle to find the right words to get it going. Don’t worry; you aren’t the first person to grapple with starting an essay, and you certainly won’t be the last. Writing an essay isn’t the same as writing a book. Or writing a poem. Or writing a scientific research paper. Essay writing is a unique process that involves clear sequencing, backing up your positions with quality sources, and engaging language. But it’s also got one important thing in common with every other type of writing: You need to hook your reader’s attention within the first few sentences. continue reading ➡️ https://mryoung.systeme.io/solutionhub/how-to-start-an-essay-7-tips-for-a-knockout-essay-introduction

Nothing is impossible to the person who establishes a definite goal and truly believes that they can attain that goal.” In “Think and Grow Rich”. Napoleon Hill wrote “nothing is impossible to the person who backs DESIRE with enduring FAITH.”. Let’s simplify that by saying “nothing is impossible to the person who establishes a definite goal and truly believes that they can attain that goal.” Once you’ve established your goal, there are two key elements necessary to accomplishing that goal, a definite date and a definite plan. I’ve learned that it’s easier to accomplish things if we break them down into small tasks. You don’t just put the whole steak in your mouth, you cut it up into small bite sized pieces. Not only does it taste better, but it’s also easier for your body to digest. You should break your goals down the same way. 1. Establish a definite date – Set your goals in reverse. Pick a date of completion and work backward. Ex. Set a goal for the end of the month and then set short term goals for each day through the end of the month. This way you are setting short and long term goals and each day as you accomplish your short term goals you move one step closer to accomplishing your long term goal. Don’t forget to include personal development goals and days off. 2. Keep a calendar Take the goal you set for the end of the month and write that goal in on the last day of the month. Then write down the short term goals for each day through the end of the month. 3. One at a time Don’t try to cram everything into one day. If you try to post to your blogs, post to the forums, post classified ads, participate in groups, submit articles and work on your Squidoo lenses, etc. all in one day you’ll burn yourself out. Instead, focus on one or two things every day and then cross it off. Mark an ‘X’ on the calendar on the days you complete the scheduled tasks. 4. Set a time limit Aim for one to two hours per day. By limiting the time you are spending and focusing on one or two tasks every day, you’ll build momentum and increase your success rate. 5. Stick with it Stick with your schedule. Switching things up too often can get in the way of your success. With a written plan, you’ll make accomplishing your goals easier. At the end of the month when you see more ‘X’s than empty squares, you’ll feel more accomplished. By implementing the 5 Easy Steps to Accomplishing Any Goal, you’ll find yourself making progress, building self-confidence and reaching and accomplishing your long term goals.

Studying doesn't necessarily need to hard, there are methods to simplify the entire process. The best way to learn is smarter not harder. 1. Exercise before studying Exercise gets your blood flowing harder and faster in the brain. This directly correlates to how well you retain information. The blood flow helps you concentrate more on what you're reading and triggers your memory more effectively. You can try to walk around right before you take that test, your brain will work much better because of the blood flow. 2.Study before going to sleep Studying before going to sleep has proven to retain the most information. However, cramming everything and staying up late is terrible. 3.Reward Yourself Everything you read through a page or a subject, eat a piece of candy. If you test yourself with a short quiz and you do well ,have a treat. This is because the human brain is wired to perform better on a rewarding system 4.Study in groups This also can make studying a lo more fun. Studying alone can get boring and will make you tired, a group will keep you focused in the task at hand. Studying with groups is a lot more efficient because you get to hear everybody's answers. 5.Use The ''Pomodoro Technique'' The Pomodoro Technique is the most effective technique in the world. Study for 25 minutes with 5 minute breaks in-between each study session.
