Science/TechnologyRe: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by yoursolarwizard(m): 3:14pm On Jun 26, 2020
Maybe the batteries aren't getting enough juice from the sun, or one of ur battery is bad ,if u have an external charger, charge those batteries and test again and if s
till same, charge each battery with a 12v
charger, when both batteries are charged, test each battery with a 12v ups to determine which battery is losing power, if a battery is faulty or bad from a 24v connection, ur inverter won't perform well, this is always the result

I will do that and revert as soon as I am able to.
thanks.

Hi guys, just want to let u guys know that battery pass battery ooo!!! All these new batteries coming into Nigeria now are not durable, some of us run to it cos of price, some of these China batteries won't last more than 6month to a year after purchase, even with sellers one year warranty na lie, but if u feel a year or close to a year is OK for u, u can go for them, I have used fullriver, Gaston for 3years of purchase and na used o...but have used GBM and the likes for close to a year before it dies out, ev
en some used ones sold in the market are not that OK, do u know that some 200ah batteries are heavier than some in weight ? Go put 100ah gbm for weight and put those original ones like fullriver for weight and see the difference, except u know a seller u trust very well...open ur eyes and be careful, goodluck
Ceejay80s thanks so much for creating this thread. I have an issue with my set up. it's a 24v system-1500va apc ups. I have 4 units of 24v 200w mono solar panels all connected in parallel, 12/24/48v 60ah pwm cc and 2 units of 200ah Batteries connected in series. the problem is that it seem the battery doesn't get well charged. from the CC I could get just 3 or 4 of charge for a whole day, but the voltage is always okay. it takes 2days to charge my batteries, and with a load of just about 70w, the batteries backup for just 2 hrs. even when the ups starts to cry, the battery voltage at the cc does not go below 25.3v and not even one bar from the battery on d cc drops.
I got the batteries as used Batteries, I tested with a load tester after charging, and they did not drop below 11v for about 10seconds. the batteries voltage is around 12.9 to 13v when charged.
if you could chat me up on 08065333813 or drop ur no so I could explain further, I would really appreciate.
