Hello guys, can someone please advise on frequent traveler processing period of recent?
I have a frequent traveler that wants to renew, but concerned about the passport being held for too long as there's another intended trip for month end.

Literally Applied for France visa on Feb 25th for a short trip, travel date is April 6th but till now no update. This is already over 30 calendar days which feels quite long. Wondering why this is even happening

Towards the end of the month but I have a UK trip next week.

At all o. Submitted for my wife and other family members in a group application on the 25th of february, and nothing yet till now.

Yes all 3 was France. This started in August after my last visa expired. I reapplied with my 2 kids and mum as a group application. Wanted to take them to Disney land. Everything was ok. I submitted all my documents complete and had the money to sponsor all 4 of us. It came back and they denied all 4 of us. I felt so bad. Now I decided to reapply alone and spend part of my Christmas in Paris. I applied alone this time with everything intact. I was so shocked when it came back yesterday again denied. I honestly haven’t felt bad about a visa denial like I did yesterday. Tears came out. lol

Appeal is not done via email, its hard copy you send via courier to the consulate.

Sorry about that. You can send an appeal..tho that one is 50/50 but its free. You send a letter to the embassy explaining your situation and why you feel you do not deserve to be denied. Attach the photocopy of your data page in the package, if they review and are convinced, they will email you to go drop your passport at VFS and other procedures.

I have had 3 successful visas. 2 last year and one this year.

For instance, you dont need VFS appointment for Sweden, you just go to VFS with your documents and pay.

Yes, you can do it for another country.

Thank you so much for the response. I guess I will try for another country, so the appointment system isn't the same for all EU countries through VFS but only specific to the country being applied for. For example, if there's an appointment backlog with Switzerland, can there be an appointment date available with France?

There is pressure on schenghen countries for now. I guess its also because they are switching their entry processes. If you cant find for switzerland, maybe you should still try for france...tho be ready to wait for at least 30 days to get a reply.

They gave me a visa which started from today tho I was meant to travel since the 4th of November...Another thing is I sent them countless emails and made a few calls.

They didnt give me when I went to the consulate, they said they were going to send it via TLS which was eventually done today. I submitted on the 8th of october.

Yes, I got my passports today & I was given a 3months visa but still waiting for my step daughter by tomorrow cos I got a message that it's ready for collection! We both submitted on the 2nd Oct.

I just got an email from TLS that my passports is ready for collection but not with my daughter passports, while her applications is still in process.

Can someone advise me on what to do please!?

Its better than having my passport there without being able to travel for other things. I will apply via Belgium or another embassy that has better time processing.

You shouldn't have gone to the embassy cos with this now,they'll return your passports empty without visa,
