Yes, that's why there was no belt. However, it will count for Jake Paul as winning in his career

The Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson had face-off against social-media-personality-turned-professional-boxer Jake Paul in a hugely anticipated boxing exhibition fight.
The fight was the latest in what has become a popular trend in recent years, pitting internet celebrities against each other or against recognised boxers, who have already retired or are well past their prime. The fight took place on Friday, November 15 with the event scheduled on (01:00 GMT on November 16).Originally scheduled for July 20, the bout was pushed back due to Tyson’s ulcer flare-up. The AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas hosted the fight. Home of the NFL team Dallas Cowboys, the venue has 80,000 seats. Forty million dollars and bragging rights but no title belts will be on the line.
However, the fight has been sanctioned by Texas boxing officials and will hence be added to the fighters’ records as a professional bout. The fight was exclusively televised by a streaming service, Netflix.
As with non-championship fights, this bout was not last the full 12 rounds. Tyson and Paul were to fight over eight, two-minute rounds.

Who is Mike Tyson?
An American boxer from New York City, Tyson is widely regarded as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time who became the youngest world heavyweight champion at the age of 20.
The 58-year-old was at the peak of his boxing career during the late 1980s and the 1990s, and held the title of undisputed heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990.

Also known as “Iron Mike”, the boxer has a history of off-field troubles, has been convicted on several occasions and has served jail time.
Tyson resumed boxing in 1996 and quickly regained his championship belts before his mega-fight with two-time champion Evander Holyfield, which Iron Mike lost. A rematch in 1997 became widely controversial as Tyson bit Holyfield’s ear twice and ended up not only losing the fight but also his boxing licence. The boxer’s last heavyweight title fight came in 2002 against British champion Lennox Lewis, who knocked out Tyson in the eighth round. After a series of non-title bouts and filing for bankruptcy, Tyson finally quit in 2005.

Who is Paul?
Paul is one of the highest-paid Youtube content creators – with 20.8 million subscribers – as well as an actor and professional boxer from Cleveland, Ohio.
The 27 Year-old made his boxing debut in a white-collar boxing match – an exhibition boxing match between celebrities – in 2018 and turned professional two years later.

In 2021, Paul defeated Bellator MMA and ONE welterweight champion, Ben Askren, in a first-round technical knockout in a widely watched fight. His next major heavyweight fight was against Tommy Fury – half-brother of former heavyweight boxing world champion Tyson Fury – which Paul lost by decision.

The Summary of the Match.
Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul left a permanent stain on two-time heavyweight champion Mike Tyson's boxing legacy with a tedious points win in front of 70,000 frustrated fans in Texas - and millions watching the controversial bout on streaming powerhouse Netflix.
Tyson, as you might expect from a man aged 58 and having not competed professionally in 19 years, was a shadow of his old self. Paul, 27, is a boxing novice but was too young and too athletic. He kept Tyson at range, landing jabs and accurate punches in an eight-round contest of two-minute rounds. Tyson was slow and sluggish. He received a hero's reception before the fight, but there were huge boos as the fight drew to a close.
Some fans left before judges' scores of 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73 were announced.
In an uncomfortable moment post-fight, Tyson, after his seventh pro loss in 57 bouts, called out Paul's brother Logan and suggested he could fight again.
There were question marks on the legitimacy of this fight and how seriously both men would take it, but Tyson said he "came to fight".
Both men wore heavier gloves with extra padding as part of the conditions set by the Texas commission, who sanctioned it as a pro fight - a decision which looks even more ludicrous post-fight. Lighter gloves would have made no difference, no punches thrown even came close to a knockout.
Tyson landed only 18 punches in the entire fight, compared to Paul's 78.
Paul made his celebrity name by posting prank videos online and amassing a social media following of 70 million before venturing into boxing.
He wins his 11th pro fight, having lost to Tommy Fury last year, and once again reiterated his desire to fight Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.
"He knows he wants a payday so he knows where the money is at," Paul said.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but the result is no surprise and will embolden those critics who felt it made a mockery of boxing. Tyson said his heart was not in the sport following a loss to Kevin McBride in 2005. Tyson's last professional fight was in 2005, but he's competed in a series of exhibition fights, with his most recent being against Roy Jones Jr on November 28, 2020.
From early on it was clear this was a man nearing his sixties, who still carried a little power but no stamina.
The general feeling was if Tyson was to win he would need to knock Paul out early and, though he landed a right hand in the first, Paul started connecting cleanly with jabs and wobbled Tyson with a left hand in the third.
Paul - wearing the world's most expensive shorts - began to pepper a man 31 years his senior.
Tyson, a black brace over his right knee, was making Paul miss with some head speed at times. He lunged in with a hook which missed by at least a foot in the fifth, illustrating just how much of a difference the age was making.

The veteran felt more damage in the seventh round as a left hook from Paul landed on the temple. By this point, most fans seemed eager to hear the final bell.
The event was streamed to Netflix's global reach of 283 million subscribers worldwide. The bout may have underwhelmed, but a show was put on for those in attendance.
With Paul reported to make £30 million ( that 40 million dollars) and Tyson half that, no expense was spared for a fight generating such a ludicrous amount of money.
Paul was driven to the ring in a customised green car to the tune of Phil Collins' In the Air Tonight. His brother, WWE wrestler and fellow social media star Logan Paul, sat beside him.
On the back seat was a pigeon which he tried to gift Tyson - known to keep racing pigeons at his home - during fight week.
Fans remained standing throughout as an ear-splitting, pulsating roar for Tyson reverberated around the stadium, home to the Dallas Cowboys NFL team.
Dressed in his trademark all black, he strutted to the ring sporting the same stern look he has had all week.

More than £14.1m was recouped from ticket sales alone, with one VIP group package which included a ringside seat and photographs with the fighters costing as much as £1.6m.

Boxing royalty Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Roy Jones Jr and Andre Ward formed part of the television broadcast - and stars of Netflix shows such as Cobra Kai watched from ringside, alongside NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal.
Paul's insistence he could beat Mexican superstar Alvarez is a claim which seems even more preposterous after going the distance with a man who was in his prime more than three decades ago.

For Tyson, perhaps the lure of the limelight was too much to stay away from, and the several millions also provided added motivation.

Whatever his intention, for his safety and to discourage other former champions, hopefully the itch to get back in the ring has been scratched.

The 2025 Grammy nominations have been revealed, presenting a star-studded lineup of artists, albums, and songs competing for honours at the 67th annual ceremony.
Scheduled for 2 February at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, the event will celebrate recordings released between 16 September 2023 and 30 August 2024. The 2025 GRAMMY nominations have been announced with a list of nominees in all, in which 94 categories are under 12 fields, ahead of Music's Biggest Night on Sunday, Feb. 2.
The Recording Academy, comprising approximately 13,000 members from across the music industry, will cast votes to determine the winners, with the organization emphasizing its commitment to diversity.
Since 2019, the Academy has increased its representation of people of color by 65%, now accounting for 38% of its voting members.
Fans and industry insiders alike will eagerly await the awards ceremony in February to see if this trailblazing artist will finally take home the Album of the Year trophy. The nominations were announced by presenters including Hayley Williams, Billie Joe Armstrong, Gayle King, Kylie Minogue, and Victoria Monet.
Leading this year’s nominations with 11 is Beyoncé, whose genre-blending album Cowboy Carter is up for major categories, including Record, Song, and Album of the Year, as well as pop, rap, country, and Americana fields.
This brings Beyoncé’s career total to a remarkable 99 nominations, further cementing her record-breaking status. On top of her 99 career nominations, Beyoncé is also the artist with the most Grammys ever (32), a lead she could very well extend on Feb. 2, 2025, during the next Grammys.
If Beyoncé wins album of the year, she’ll make history as the first Black woman to do so in the 21st century. Lauryn Hill was the last to win in 1999 with “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” joining the ranks of Natalie Cole and Whitney Houston as the only Black women to ever claim the Grammy’s top prize.
Taylor Swift, a four-time winner of Album of the Year, is also in contention again this year with The Tortured Poets Department, an introspective breakup album that has resonated widely with fans.
Other top nominees include Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, and Charli XCX, each with seven nods, followed by Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter, who have six nominations.
South Africa's Tyla didn't get nominated for the best African music performance, but do you know who did? It's Chris Brown with his song titled: Sensational. Among the notable nominees for the new Best African Music Performance category are Yemi Alade, Asake & Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, and Tems.
Tems leads the Nigerian nominees with three nominations.
In the Best Global Music Album category, Rema and Tems each received a nomination.
