Reviewers aren't giving it a "good enough" score and it's not much of an upgrade from RN7. The aesthetics is actually great but from reviews, it looks like RN7 in another body with 2 extra cameras. SD 660 on RN7 looks faster than 665 on RN8 too (... expectedly though.)

And there are lots and lots of competition in the same price range....

Yeah the likes of Techbeans and those speaking in tongues reviewers.

But it is a great product you can nerver go wrong with it

That is what umidigi is good at comparing specs on paper. Same way they did with umi f1 and redmi note 7. Umi a5 pro and redmi 7 yet they flopped.
They look good on paper but one issues or the other in real life experiences.

But they are trying sha especially in the aesthetics department
