Economic calamities he created? This reminds me of The Magicians season 5, where the king of fillory keeps creating some monsters secretly where by only him can keep them at bay and there by forming savior

Dont bring Obi to this thread

Its not about him

Reno raised some Valid points as to why we have to go this route, you couldnt counter him with facts nor support him with greater argument?

SMH
Well here is my fact to counter Reno. Oil isn't our only natural resource like Saudi Arabia and Qatar that he mentioned. So what happened to exploring the other natural resources that we have. We have abundant fertile land for agriculture, what happened to the option of becoming an agricultural export power house in sub Saharan region? Our biggest mistake/error was relying solely on crude export. Nigeria did well before oil was discovered

idolda:
Scam alert!

We are back to square one again! Dangote wants to help them continue the Subsidy scam and this is bad for the market. He simply wants to be the sole beneficiary of subsidy!
The subsidy scam will hardly work with Dangote refinery if we are to believe what he said that shipments of refined petrol can be tracked once lifted from his refinery. The problem we have had and what made subsidy a scam was that government just kept paying for refined petrol it couldn't track. Meaning marketers were purchasing at subsidized rate and taking to markets/countries without subsidy rate or pricing

He already knows how much his fuel will be sold.

Baba is only playing mind game with Nigerians.

He doesn't want Nigerians to put the blame on him when they see an unexpectedly high price of fuel.

Who increased the price of cement and other Dangote products?

Is it FEC?
FEC does not provide raw materials for cement and other products to him. The government through nnpc provide crude to him

Are you saying the government should beg them to remove their hijab or give them special treatment?
So the government wants them to stay naked in detention or what. If it is believed that they might be hiding weapons underneath their gowns, a simple search by a female officer should suffice
Politics / Re: Shiites Kick Over Removal Of Members’ Hijab In Detention by Yusman316(m): 8:09am On Aug 31
Point of correction. The hijab is a type of body covering wear/gown for women who seek to dress modestly not a religious scarf
Politics / Re: Adeolu Adeboye Hadn’t Joined Ronchess When Kaduna Contracts Were Awarded by Yusman316(m): 7:59am On Aug 31
immortalcrown:
Whether this claim is true or false, the point remains that there's no justification for the media to use Pastor Adeboye's name to report the failure of the project. Adeboye's name was not used to sign and announce the contract.

I was called unprintable names because I asked why Pastor Adeboye is used to announce the abandonment of the project. That very post meant to tarnish Adeboye's image has "Pastor Adeboye" in the caption. This one that is meant to clear Adeboye's name does not have "Pastor Adeboye" in the caption. Can't you see the mischievousness?

I asked whether the news about the awarding of the contract was captioned with Pastor Adeboye when the contract was awarded. I asked whether Pastor Adeboye was mentioned in the contract papers. I asked whether the contract failed because Adeolu's father is Pastor Adeboye. I also asked if Pastor Adeboye would have been used to caption the news about the celebration of the project by the time the project is completed and commissioned by the governor of the state. Fanatics couldn't answer any of these questions. They sentimentally resorted to insulting me and claiming that I am a supporter of Pastor Adeboye. They hate the truth when it does not favour their sentiments.

Pastor Adeboye is not in any way my role model in Christianity. Those who have come across comments I dropped on threads about the things Pastor Adeboye, Pastor David Oyedepo and some other pastors do in the name of Christianity will admit that I am not a fan of these pastors. But I will never support craftiness against these pastors or any other person. The standard should be the same for everybody. If mentioning the parents of a suspect is the standard way for the media to report crimes and offences, why don't the media mention unpopular parents of accused persons? Why do the media mention parents only when the parents are famous?

I am not surprised. These are the same mischievousness and double standards they use against some personalities and some regions. The name and the picture of any civilian that kills a soldier or a police officer are released to the public. But the name and the picture of a soldier or a police officer that kills a civilian are hidden from the public. Every news about Tonto, weather positive or negative, is reported without Churchill's name. Every good news about Churchill is reported without Tonto's name. But every negative news about Churchill is reported with Tonto's name. Almost every criminal caught in the North or in the South South is not said to be a suspected member of Boko Haram or Amotekun, and neither Boko Haram nor Amotekun will be in the news caption. But almost every suspect or criminal caught in the South East is accused of being a member of IPOB, and IPOB will be in the news caption. And haters quickly believe the claims against the South East without asking necessary questions.
That's how propaganda works

Foreign Affairs / Re: NATO To Deploy Up To 5,000 Soldiers On Finland-russia Border(photos ( by Yusman316(m): 11:27am On Aug 23
Botragelad:

If NATO is supposedly justifying Russia's claims, why hasn't Russia invaded Finland and Sweden, which are right on their doorstep? NATO is not in a state of panic; their responses are reasonable. The alliance's support for Ukraine is for their sovereignty, aiming to deter Russia's aggression. How's that fear?

NATO has severally condemned Russia's invasion and as an alliance provided support to Ukraine to defend itself against unprovoked aggression. What's wrong with that! Defending oneself from bullies who think it's okay to invade you for no logical reason.

You can keep parroting your propaganda by the Kremlin to justify Putin's actions.
As for the situation in Kursk, it's none of your concern. Let Ukraine handle it and save your criticism.
Ukraine houses a chunk of Russia's nuclear sites. How many does Finland and Sweden house again?

Tinubu is speaking the truth! We need unity and dialogue to move Nigeria forward. His commitment to tackling the economy and security is commendable. Let’s give him a chance to deliver on his promises. Together, we can build a better Nigeria!
Tinubu is saying what any political office holder would say. Farming equipments are on the way when the raining season will soon be over, can you imagine. Did you hear anything about irrigation farming? Tariffs and taxes has been suspended yet prices of food/goods keep on increasing. Who is fooling who? People should go to farms while AK-47 wielding bandits are waiting for them, right? Dangote refinery will solve our energy problems, now we are hearing Dangote products are sub standard all because of an oil cabal he couldn't deal with. Name countries taking loans and economic advise from imf that has freed itself from poverty and borrowing mote

Foreign Affairs / Re: Pictures Of The Children Who Were Killed In The Attack By Hezbollah Hours Ago. by Yusman316(m): 11:51am On Jul 28
Botragelad:

Let me set the record straight. Israel typically warns civilians of impending strikes by distributing leaflets and designating safe zones. The targeted location was a known terrorist hideout.

The real question is, why does Hamas use children as human shields for their nefarious activities? Why do they launch rockets from schools? I expect rational individuals to think critically. Israel's strike targeted Hamas, but they cynically exploit children for propaganda. It was a legitimate military target!

Now, applying the same logic to Hezbollah's strike: did they issue warnings to Israel before attacking? How can a soccer field be considered a military target? Were there any IDF soldiers present? If you're going to target someone, target the soldiers, right? At least that's your greatest fear! Israel could have randomly targeted Lebanese civilians, but instead, they precision-target terrorists. Why doesn't Hezbollah do the same? It's clear that Israel is the only side following the rules, while terrorists deliberately target civilians. Wait for Israel's response. 🇮🇱
Israel is a country which has signed and is therefore bound by international laws. Hezbollah and other hinge groups are regarded by many as terrorist groups and not signatory to these treaties. So more is expected of Israel. They can't be killing kids knowingly under the guise of Hamas is hiding under civilian targets. If Hamas does that let Israel find a better way to deal with them without civilian casualties especially innocent kids

Be deceiving yourself.

It is even the women i used to pity, but now i know better. Under Islam they are worthless, a country where the laws of the land give you value. You want to bring back the islam you ran from in your fatherland. So you can worthless again.

I just remembered the story of the girl that left UK to join ISIS, after she was properly rapped: they mutilated her body. That is what you get when leave laws upholding your peace and safety. For a place where their religion permits honor killings.
You are not saying anything meaningful. If Islam was the problem, they would had left their region a long time ago (600 AD). They never left their countries because of Islamic oppression they left because their region got destabilized and made unsafe, and we all know who was responsible for that. Unless of course you live in a different planet

I don't want to talk about how Saka and Sancho were all racially abused after England lost against Italy in the Euro
Some of you guys think up side down. They (Argentine players) insulted black players then turn around and made it look like it was about France being a colonial country. Tell us what France being a colonial country has to do with that racist disgusting song
