APPLICATION
This is to invite candidates who sat for 2014/2015 academic session UTME examination and scored 150 and above, to register for their Federal College of Education, Abeokuta post UTME screening test.
Other candidates that did not choose the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, can also apply for the post UTME test, provided he/she qualified and met the requirements for he/her particular course of study.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Non-refundable application payment ofN2000.00 (plus processing fee ofN200.00) should be paid through eTranzact platform from any bank in Nigeria, where a PIN/code to register is provided after the payment. Consequent upon payment of the specified fees, candidates will access the registration portal with the PIN/Codes obtained from the Bank. Upon entering the portal, candidates are to create his/her profile that will be his / her login particulars to complete the registration.
NB: Candidates are advised to only SAVE their registration, if they still have intention of coming back to edit or supply additional information at a later date, because once they SUBMIT the application cannot be re-visited

PROCEDURE FOR SELECTION OF
CANDIDATES FOR MERIT
ADMISSION
The first choice admissions are to
be guided by JAMB approved
admission criteria as follows:
(a) Merit (RM): Here about 20 best
candidates may be selected
per programme except in Nursing
Science where only 10 best
candidates are to be selected.
(b) Locality/Catchment (RL): Two
best candidates from each of the
13 Federaly recognized Local
Government Areas of Ebonyi State
shall be selected from
programmes/departments whose
quota is NOT MORE THAN 100
while 3 candidates are to be
selected from programmes/
departments whose quota is MORE
THAN 100. In programmes where
less than 26 candidates with the
acceptable score for the
programme are listed,
all Ebonyians within that range/
score shall be taken after the
general merit of 20 or 10 as the
case may be.
(c) ELDS: Educationally less
developed states shall be
discretionally applied if constraints
of the 2014/2015 NUC quota and
prevailing imperatives within EBSU
as a state university permits.
Please be reminded that
states recognized as educationally
less developed include: Adamawa,
Bauchi,
Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Ebonyi, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Kastina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara.

(d) Physically challenged
candidates with acceptable
minimum UTME (JAMB) score are
to be accorded preferential
admissions privileges even
without evidence of participation
in EBSU Post UTME; especially
where such challenge acted as
handicap to writing the exam.
