Is it just me or no one is noticing that all these crypto like yescoin notcoin, tapswap, hamster, dogs and all those supposed crypto are targeting African currency and economies. They are even more promoted on Twitter to African internet access. For my friends who are in Ukraine, Germany, Canada and Iceland, they say they say there is no such things in their Facebook feed or Twitter feed. It got me wondering if all these things are just another pyramid scheme. It's just an elaborate scheme. Yes all crypto currency are just like MMM the only difference is they are well accepted by the online community. My fear is, why don't Africans understand that you are not trading anything...? They even have a funny term now they call "gas fee" and so many funny slang. Why are they exploiting African economy and currency? |

eejo:Good morning Eejo Nigerians are easily divided along ethnic and religion line and destroying lives and properties because there are no viable tools for Nation Building. Lack of good nation building institutions is the reason why Nigerians resort to ethnic and religious violence and I will explain Why. Nigeria is an Heterogeneous Society that needs collaborative effort. In Nigeria there are approximately 371 tribes across over 250 ethnic including Hausa-Fulani, Igbo, and Yoruba. We have many religions and multi ethnic groups so there is no way friction will not arise. If there was a strong Unifying factor that encourages true Nation Building, Nigerians will not be divided along tribalism (violence) and religious fanatism. Nigerians kill each other destroying lives and properties because Nation Building institutions don't understand their true functions. Infact, they are doing the opposite of nation building. What are the nation building tools? The legislative, Judiciary and the Executive arm of government, also Human rights and the rule of law. In a country where the Rule of Law is respected, crimes reduces and the citizens trust and believes in what the law says Although, we have to take into recognition that nigeria has gone through civil war and this has lead to various tribes not trusting each other enough. They question how genuine leadership is and often times rely on religion to determine who they listen to for guidance. Every tribe wants to lead and doesn't want to be left behind. Once they feel marginalized, the other party starts complaining and oftentimes leads to violence. Some political class and religious elite are taking advantage of this and inciting people into needless religious strife and violence. It is important to also note the issue of poverty which is without the doubt a silent tool used to control people into violence, especially ethnic and religious violence. When the people are kept in hunger and poverty, they would do anything to please the religious and political Elites in order to feed even if they are being misguided with negative religious teachings. About the Scarcity mindset, Nigeria is blessed with abundance of human and natural resources but because of bad governance and political instability which affects the economy: citizens start to think resources are scarce. When humans don't have access to the value of resources, we tend to say it's scarce. Due to high level of corruption in our society, there is always an artificial scarcity...even job scarcity Nigeria is the largest black population in the world which is human resources. We have natural resources in abundance like crude oil, gold, iron ore, precious stones, gas, water, water ways, vast land and agricultural produce, but it's as if there is a SCARCITY of all these things. The youth and even the elders think of Nigeria as a failed state and this is because the greed and corruption is too much. The moment good leadership is established and corruption reduces, scarcity mind set will fizzle out |
