This question here is; How often do we deep condition our hair?

Some think it's wise having their hair deep conditioned once a while is ideal. The fact still remains, deep conditioning should be a regular regime.

Have you ever wonder why your hair breaks slot, I mean slot of hair falling out when you comb etc. It's because you don't deep condition.

Now there are two types of deep conditioning that are very healthy for the hair.
1. Protein treatment
2. Moisture treatment

Deep conditioner is temporal so requires regular usage. You apply sit under a steaming machine, heat bonnet for 10mins or cover hair with a plastic cap, shrink wrap for about an hour or more, afterwards your rinse out ( not washing with shampoo again).

Protein treatment help strengthen the hair and help coat if from breaking. Makes it flexible especially treatments with Panthenol (vitb5). Nourishes the hair, closes the spaces that cause brittleness, control frizz and many more. Our hair is keratin which means protein so needs protein to keep it it healthy. Once the hair growth out from the dermis to epidermis, it dies, so it become more fragile that is why we ought to treat our hair with care. Reduce chemicals and over processing with relaxers, sulfate shampoos etc. It's make the hair die the second time which is not health. That is why most of us don't notice our hair growing but we relax every 8weeks, which means hair grows. With the aid of good products, proper management, our hair tend to retain its length.

Moisture treatment is best when you feel your hair is too hard, maybe dry or you over used the protein treatment which could make a protein sensitive hair very strong and being strong could dry the hair and being dry breaks the hair as well.
