Cesc Fabregas has been caught ‘liking’ a tweet celebrating Antonio Conte’s departure from Chelsea. Conte finally lost his job on Thursday following months of speculation, with former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri set to take over the reins from his compatriot at Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
It’s understood the Blues have wrapped up deal for both Sarri and Napoli midfielder Jorginho this week and the duo are expected to be unveiled in the coming days. Willian revealed at a rift with Conte in the aftermath of Chelsea’s FA Cup win last season on Instagram and now Fabregas has fired a parting shot at the Italian.
It appears Fabregas, who was linked with a move away from Chelsea in Conte’s opening season at the club, is rather happy that a new manager is on his way to the club. The Spaniard ‘liked’ a tweet which reads: ‘Yessssssssss Conte gonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn’ Fabregas later claimed it was a mistake – before deleting his apology. Do we believe him?
Cesc Fabregas hinted that he partly blamed Conte for missing out on selection for Spain’s squad for the World Cup in Russia this summer. ‘When Conte first game to Chelsea I wasn’t playing at all,’ he said last month. ‘He [Julen Lopetegui] wanted to try to give opportunities to the younger players who he worked with at the Under-21s and Under-19s. ‘Fair play to him, they’ve done well, they’ve been playing well for two years. ‘They qualified in style and they deserved their opportunity as well. I just have to wait and keep working.’


The midfielder also criticised Conte’s defensive tactics following Chelsea’s Champions League tie with Barcelona back in February. ‘To spend 90 minutes there defending can be a long 90 minutes. It can be an eternity,’ Fabregas said after the first leg of Chelsea’s defeat to Barca.

Manchester United have stepped up talks to sign Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale. The Red Devils shunned the opportunity to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo in favour of pursuing a deal for Bale. Tite has boldly decided to reveal Brazil’s starting XI more than 24 hours before their World Cup quarter-final clash with Belgium. Real Madrid have omitted Cristiano Ronaldo entirely from their new kit campaign, giving a major hint that the Portuguese star is nearing a transfer away from the Bernabeu this summer. The 33-year-old is believed to be pushing for an exit after being made to feel undervalued by Real, with Juventus the leading candidates to prise him away in an £88million deal. And now they have fanned the rumours even further by leaving Ronaldo off the promotion material for their new kit.
Karim Benzema, Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Marco Asensio and Toni Kroos all take centre stage in the ad campaign, while the designated website virtually crops Ronaldo out of the club’s history. Antonio Conte has clashed with Chelsea’s hierarchy once again by trying to rearrange the start date of pre-season training even though he is likely to be sacked in the coming days, according to reports. The west London club have been locked in talks to appoint former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri and are finally willing to pay-off the final year of Conte’s £9m-a-season contract, having previously hoped he would leave of his own accord. Talks with Napoli have proved difficult, however, with the Italian side holding out for a massive compensation fee despite already appointing Carlo Ancelotti as Sarri’s replacement.
And now The Times report that, even though Conte is set to leave Stamford Bridge, he has spent the summer planning a gruelling pre-season training programme and has clashed with the club over when the players should return. A member of the Chelsea technical staff had emailed all players who have not been at the World Cup telling them to report to the Cobham training ground on Saturday and Sunday this week.
But Conte wants the squad to return later and – without consulting the club – emailed the squad to remind them that he is still the manager and instructing them not to report for duty until Monday. His message to the players was described as ‘terse’, echoing the tone he used when he told Diego Costa he no longer featured in his plans.
Conte is still adamant that he will not walk away from his role at Chelsea despite a complete breakdown in his relationship with the club’s board as he continues to engage in a high-stakes game of chicken. The Italian coach is keen to take a sabbatical, and his £9m pay-off, but Chelsea cannot axe Conte until they have struck a deal for Sarri; the former Napoli boss is already believed to be consulting the club about transfer targets.

Cristiano Ronaldo made the decision to leave Real Madrid back in January after feeling he was no longer valued and appreciated by the club, according to reports in Spain. The 33-year-old looks set to leave the Bernabeu this summer after nine enormously successful seasons in the Spanish capital, with Juventus working on an £88million deal to bring him to Turin. Ronaldo has had a fructuous relationship with Real for some time, having grown frustrated with the lack of support he received from the club last summer over his tax case.
He has also wanted a new contract that puts his salary more in line with the massive wages PSG and Barcelona now pay Neymar and Lionel Messi respectively, though president Florentino Perez has been reluctant to extend Ronaldo’s already lucrative deal. Now Spanish newspaper Marca report that Real made the decision back in January that they would accept an offer of just £88m for Ronaldo – a tenth of his release clause – which enraged the Portuguese star.
Real are keen to bring in a new, younger Galactico and have targeted both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, leading them to discussing the possibility of offloading Ronaldo – and his hefty wages – to a club who are not a direct rival. Upon finding out, Ronaldo is quoted as saying: ‘If I’m only worth €100m (£88m), it’s because they don’t love me.’
Marca say that Ronaldo, and his camp, felt the price tag was well below his market value and an insult to a player who has guided Real Madrid to four Champions League wins in the last five years. From that point onwards, he began reassessing his future at the Bernabeu, before eventually hinting at an exit after beating Liverpool in Kiev in the Champions League final.
Juventus are believed to have offered Ronaldo a mammoth £26m-a-year contract over four years, meaning he will be 37 by the time the deal expires. Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is at the centre of the deal and used negotiations with Juventus over Joao Cancelo’s £35m move from Valencia to also discuss the possibility of bringing Ronaldo to Turin. The super agent is expected to meet with Perez in the coming days and, barring any last-minute offers, will confirm Ronaldo’s desire to leave Real Madrid.

Chelsea are close to signing Roma goalkeeper Alisson ahead of Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain. Thibaut Courtois has just a year remaining on his contract and should he refuse to sign a new deal, Chelsea could look to offload the Belgium international this summer. Chelsea have been exploring potential replacements for Courtois and Alisson has emerged as one of their first choices. Marca report that Chelsea are the closest to signing the Brazil international as they are near to matching his €70 million (£62m) valuation. Real Madrid have also made the 25-year-old one of their priority targets for the summer window.
But the Champions League holders have already had a €40m (£35m) offer rejected and are reluctant to go far beyond that bid. Marca claim that Alisson is keen to join Real Madrid but the Spanish club are ‘very distant’ with Roma.
Earlier this week, the Serie A club’s Roma sporting director Monchi suggested that the Brazilian could be sold this summer. ‘There’s no such thing anywhere in the world as an unsellable player,’ he said. ‘The perfect answer would be to say that he’s unsellable, but I can’t say that because such a player doesn’t exist.’

Germany have been knocked out of the 2018 World Cup after losing to South Korea in their final group game. The Germans, who won the last World Cup four years ago, were beaten 2-0 in Kazan after two injury-time goals. A victory would have seen them through to the last-16 stage with six points. With Germany exiting, Sweden and Mexico have progressed in the tournament from Group F.

It was initially ruled out for offside but VAR showed the ball deflected off a German defender, meaning the decision was overturned. Yung6ix is never scared or ashamed of his roots, you hear him continuously saying "King of the South' or "Warri Boy blow like a bad IC" or "Warri Boy flow, you might hate this, now we don dey dodge bullets like Matrix" or "I'm the King of the South, You can ask her". This gives him that respect and admiration from his fans because musicians and rappers from Southen Nigeria have for a long time been separated and segregated from the Mainstream and A-List of musicians in Nigeria.
Apart from the fact that Yung6ix isn't ashamed of his roots and beginnings, he isn't scared to talk about his grind and his hustle. I remember him saying that he had one shoe, selling his Gold Chain to get to Jimmy Jump off (he had one of the craziest freestyles on Jimmy Jump off back then Also, his love for music made him use his WAEC fees to record his very first song, his own father broke his music demo tapes and CDs apart... Now think of this, if he had given up because of his background or the marital problems between his mom and dad ,are we going to hear anything like Yung6ix or if he had entered into social vices like kidnapping, armed robbery, oil bunkering or joined the militants in the Niger Delta Area without believing in his dreams, will they be any king of the south? The Answer is no and that grind, hustle, and perseverance are currently paying for him.
How many rappers and hip-hop musicians can flaunt cash like Yung6ix? How many rappers can boldly call himself the King of the rap in Nigeria even when the legends are still alive? But Yung6ix is doing this, if you can recall closely it was MI Abaga who endorsed Onome Onokohwomo as the King of the South after featuring him in his mixtape [Illegal Music 2] and since then, this Warri boy has never been scared of calling himself king and nobody seems to challenge him, that is what is called "Respect".
I reminisce and recall memories back then, when we had Trybe records, Choc Boys of Chocolate City, Storm Records and 411 Entertainment, at this period in the year 2010, Ice Prince Zamani had one of the best HipHop songs of all time in Nigeria which was the song of the year at that time, Oleku was remixed and covered by so many musicians and rappers, it was exactly that song that gave birth to Yung6ix, his cover version of the song went viral and created hype for him as the future of Hip-hop in Nigeria.
As a hip-hop fan, if you don't haven't listened to Oh My Gosh by Yung6ix, then you are still backward and not ready to move to the promised land. He was nominated for the "Most Promising Act" at the 2012 Nigeria Entertainment Awards [NEA Awards], but lost to Eva, his "Oh My Gosh" song made him a leading figure in the Headies 2012 list, as he was nominated for the Best Rap single and Lyricist on the Roll, but he didn't win because he was merged with big names such as MI Abaga,Ice Prince and Modenine.

Now, Yung6ix has grown so well that he manages himself and he doesn't need the support of any record label to push him or give him the needed publicity for his music growth. He runs and manages Kash Kamp Trick Billionaire Music (KKTBM) and he already has a personal Disc Jockey in the name of Baddest DJ Timmy, an in-house producer, Disally and three music artistes, Sean Dennis, LK Kuddy and a girl called She. Not only that, he has continued to support upcoming artistes, remember his "Respeck on my Name contest" which was remixed by so many rappers who sent him their cover songs for him to listen and possibly win the cash price.
After the 6ix O' clock Album, he pushed himself further by releasing the Billionaire Ambitions Ep and now High Star album, this proves true that everybody can be a star. Apart from the fact that Yung6ix isn't ashamed of his roots and beginnings, he isn't scared to talk about his grind and his hustle. I remember him saying that he had one shoe, selling his Gold Chain to get to Jimmy Jump off (he had one of the craziest freestyles on Jimmy Jump off back then Also, his love for music made him use his WAEC fees to record his very first song, his own father broke his music demo tapes and CDs apart... Now think of this, if he had given up because of his background or the marital problems between his mom and dad ,are we going to hear anything like Yung6ix or if he had entered into social vices like kidnapping, armed robbery, oil bunkering or joined the militants in the Niger Delta Area without believing in his dreams, will they be any king of the south? The Answer is no and that grind, hustle, and perseverance are currently paying for him.
How many rappers and hip-hop musicians can flaunt cash like Yung6ix? How many rappers can boldly call himself the King of the rap in Nigeria even when the legends are still alive? But Yung6ix is doing this, if you can recall closely it was MI Abaga who endorsed Onome Onokohwomo as the King of the South after featuring him in his mixtape [Illegal Music 2] and since then, this Warri boy has never been scared of calling himself king and nobody seems to challenge him, that is what is called "Respect".
I reminisce and recall memories back then, when we had Trybe records, Choc Boys of Chocolate City, Storm Records and 411 Entertainment, at this period in the year 2010, Ice Prince Zamani had one of the best HipHop songs of all time in Nigeria which was the song of the year at that time, Oleku was remixed and covered by so many musicians and rappers, it was exactly that song that gave birth to Yung6ix, his cover version of the song went viral and created hype for him as the future of Hip-hop in Nigeria.
As a hip-hop fan, if you don't haven't listened to Oh My Gosh by Yung6ix, then you are still backward and not ready to move to the promised land. He was nominated for the "Most Promising Act" at the 2012 Nigeria Entertainment Awards [NEA Awards], but lost to Eva, his "Oh My Gosh" song made him a leading figure in the Headies 2012 list, as he was nominated for the Best Rap single and Lyricist on the Roll, but he didn't win because he was merged with big names such as MI Abaga,Ice Prince and Modenine.
HIS RESURGENCE
Now, Yung6ix has grown so well that he manages himself and he doesn't need the support of any record label to push him or give him the needed publicity for his music growth. He runs and manages Kash Kamp Trick Billionaire Music (KKTBM) and he already has a personal Disc Jockey in the name of Baddest DJ Timmy, an in-house producer, Disally and three music artistes, Sean Dennis, LK Kuddy and a girl called She. Not only that, he has continued to support upcoming artistes, remember his "Respeck on my Name contest" which was remixed by so many rappers who sent him their cover songs for him to listen and possibly win the cash price.
After the 6ix O' clock Album, he pushed himself further by releasing the Billionaire Ambitions Ep and now High Star album, this proves true that everybody can be a star. Olamide who is currently releasing music albums back to back is a star, Wizkid who filled a hall in London is a star, Ice Prince Zamani who won a BET Award is a star or is it Cassper Nyovest who filled a 60,000 capacity stadium to the brim but amongst all Yung6ix released this album to prove to all that he is a High Star.
