The body of a yet-to-be identified woman was found in a room at the Crown Garden Hotel located along Afikpo road in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state on Sunday December 16th. This was disclosed by the state police command spokesperson, DSP Loveth Odah.


One Sylvester Oduma, who lodged in the hotel and whose complaint led to the discovery of the corpse, said
“I arrived at the hotel on Sunday, paid for a suite and checked into the hotel only to perceive an unpleasant odour oozing out of the next room, which became unbearable. I quickly drew the attention of the management of the hotel to the unpleasant odour and they opened the door and found the lifeless body of a fair lady in the room. Possibly, she was stabbed to death by her supposed boyfriend identified as Uchenna Awoke. Immediately, the police were contacted and a team of officers arrived at the scene. The policemen immediately arrested all the management officials and staff of the hotel and took them away. The policemen evacuated the corpse and deposited it in a morgue.”
According to Punch, the deceased was found with deep cuts on her chest and neck. She has been deposited in a mortuary while one Uchenna Awoke, her supposed boyfriend, has been arrested in connection with her death. The police command spokesperson also said the manager of the hotel, Emmanuel Eze, and other some of the hotel staff have been arrested for negligence.
“The manager of the hotel, the supervisor and other workers of the hotel were taken to the station for questioning and I must confess to you that the whole thing is negligence on the part of the hotel management. How can a guest be murdered in a hotel room and days after, the management was not aware of the incident? We will investigate the matter properly and I assure you, the perpetrator(s) of the act must be arrested and prosecuted. All we are asking is for the members of the public to avail the police of useful information that will lead to the arrest of the suspect.” she said.

The Federal Road Safety Commission, Anambra Sector Commander, Sunday Ajayi, has died after he was involved in a car accident in Asaba, Delta state, on Saturday, December 15th.


According to reports, Ajayi and his driver were heading to Anambra state when suffered the ghastly car accident. While Ajayi lost his life, his driver sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

A South Carolina Pastor, John Gray has defended buying a $200,000 Lamborghini luxury car as gift for his wife on their eighth wedding anniversary.

The man of God made the news over the weekend after an Instagram video of the moment he handed his wife the keys to the bow-wrapped “Lamborghini Urus” on Saturday went viral.

Gray, who is the pastor of Relentless Church, later stressed online that he had purchased the vehicle for his wife, while rebutting critics who raised suggestions about whether he bought the car with church money.

“God helped me to make my wife’s dream come true. Why not? She’s made mine come true!” Gray said in an Instagram post.

He then addressed the matter in a video on Facebook Live afterwards saying “not a nickel, not a penny” of money from the church went to the gift.
“First of all, it wasn’t a pastor that bought the car. It was a husband that bought the car. I’m a husband first. Don’t confuse what I do with who I am. What I do is I pastor God’s people. Who I am is a husband and a father and I’ll do anything to honour them.
And I won’t ask permission from anybody to do it. My wife has pushed for my dreams and my vision, and she has toiled with a man who is still trying to find himself. That carries a weight. I wanted to honor her for how she’s covered me.
What should concern people who are actually genuinely concerned is ‘did this man use any money from the church to do this?’ And the answer is no, absolutely not,” he said.

It’s Yuletide season, I can see men gifting their wives exotic cars. Weldone to those husbands. Ladies if your husband can’t give you cars don’t be worried, better days ahead! Don’t push your husbands out at all cost to go and get you exotic cars.
Ladies don’t make it a period of comparison, don’t give your husbands words like “is Mr X not your mate that gifted his wife so so and so car?” These words can increase suicide and criminal attempts. Bear with your husbands and pray for them to be better!
Men! Make sure you gift your wives present this season, no matter how small! Rose flowers, face caps, lipsticks, bags etc.. women, please accept any gift from your husband. all gift na gift!

Heartbreaking

Chineye Ndubiife has been arrested for murdering Wisdom, the 2-year-old son of her neighbor, Promise Samuel, in Lagos. The incident happened, on Wednesday, December, 12, 2018, at 70 Lawani Street, Alakoto, Olodi Apapa.


The suspect who is cooling off in the cell at Tolu Police station, revealed how she sent a child to call Wisdom from their room. Ndubiife, a mother of one, then took him to the backyard where she hit his head against the wall, before hitting his head again with a big stone, leading to his death.

Consequently, she dumped the child's corpse in the toilet, where Mr Samuel later found him. Asked why she killed the boy, Ms Ndubuife disclosed that her intention was to inflict severe injury on him so that his father would spend money on treating him.
