I have never ever implied that defense is less important than attack or vice versa. What I support are well-made points, regardless of which side they favour.

If you are being honest, there are days here on this thread when people say “defense won the game today” and other days when they say “the attack made the difference.” That alone shows that both aspects are crucial in football. Narrowing it down to just one being more important than the other means that the other are less important.

As for the post about Bilbao, I only reacted to what I felt was an obvious truth. There was nothing in my comment that ridiculed defense or supported attack over it. Let's stop attacking people personally just because they have a different view from yours and keep the conversation healthy and focused on the game we all love.
