How will you conclude they are set of unserious folks, have you applied for the service without been matched? How will you stay far away and conclude they are unserious.

That's what I have been saying, sisters never want to get hook or marry; assuming there's a guy among those profile who state that, he's working in Chevron or Mobil, I believe there would have been a serious folks there right?

Please what is it about the guys and money?

Women are meant to be treateed with love and care and not with disdain and neglect. However, a muslim sister only gets what she deserve in a man. If a muslim brother is rich, neat and yet religious, it does'nt really mean she has succeeded in getting a total package in a hubby.

If what motivates the sister is majorly the materialistic display, then her claims to have considerd the Deen and Character are just smokescreens.

However, when a sister marries, putting emphasis on the man's morals and beliefs, then the material aspect of him becomes relegated to the rear in her sight.

The latter is surely the prosperous one than the former.

The Messenger of Allaah was reported to have said : " This world is alluring and green, and Allaah has placed us as vicegerents on it to see how we fared. So fear this world, and fear women(womens' love for the Dunya), for verily that was what destroys the Nations before you."

this thing is as simple as ABC.....looking good and dressing well is part of personal hygiene!! Looking out 4 a well dressed man doesnt mean the ladies are after material things.
Knowledge of d deen doesnt mean one should look shabby!
Not having enough money isnt as excuse!
If you can't afford designers at least be neat!

Hmmm...trying to change the words of the Quran to suit you just like you guys to change yours...Quran 29:46 says

"And argue not with the people of the scripture (jews and christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner), inviting them to Islamic Monotheism (with his verses), except such of them as do wrong n say (to them) we believe in that which has been revealed to you; our God and your God is one (Allah) and to him we have submitted(as muslims) "

We believe in what was send down to the jew(Musa) and what was sent down to the xtains (jesus).
.we believe in all the prophet Allah has ever sent and we believe in their teachings...we however do not believe believe jesus is god or son of God...he was a messenger of Allah.

Remember Judaism came before Christianity. The prophets predicted about a saviour (Jesus means saviour) King that will save the world from sin that is to come.
Jesus was rejected by the Jews because he did not come from a major tribe or born in riches. But the Torah had predicted this.
Secondly Islam VALIDATES Christianity and Judaism. It calls them 'People of the Book' and clearly states that they have the true revelation and do not require a new one.
The true validity test of a man is not what he says about himself. Its what others say about him. The 3 major religions in the world beside Buddhism are Christianity, Judaism and Islam. All 3 validate Christianity in their scriptures in SEVERAL VERSES AND CHAPTERS not only the ones I quoted above.

Now if you know the principle of the research methodology, you don't need anyone to tell you CHRISTIANITY IS THE WAY.

Everyone creates god to suite his / her own needs, prejudices , fears and hopes.
Then they try to persuade, blackmail or force others to submit to their mental creations.
This is why kind people create a kind and loving god, wicked people create wicked wrathful gods, greedy people create greedy and needy god that demands financial tributes and slave tax christened "tithes", seed sowing, first fruits, etc.

To each human proclivity has it's own commensurate and befitting god.

I think the christains do say smfin like "the truth shall set you free"....so let the truth set you free. I'll say search for the truth...search for knowledge and learn about Islam with a clear mind before you decide your life begins and ends with Jesus.
