at first i thought u know what you are saying Maobichek: Good evening, ever since the issue of genocide was raised by Trump, i have refrain myself from talking. Infact, this is my first comment on the issue.
In Benue state, thousands have been killed this year alone. We all know that there is no Fulani indigene in Benue state so the issue of communal clash hold no water. Benue is predominantly Christian, the president recently went to Yewelta so this is a current issue to those saying that it was only during late PMB era that Christians were killed.
Do i talk about Pleatue state, i will refer you to Rev Ezekiel, most of the mass burial he conducted are on Facebook and other SM. Do i talk about Bronu state, Niger state? These state have good number of Christains who were either sacked from their community or outrightly killed. NB: i have been to all 19 Northern states so North have a good number of Christains despite it being painted Muslims when issues of religion comes up, thank you. |

finally person wey talk wetin dey my mind Heffalump: That was the real eyewitness account up there. All those who don't want external intervention on our security matter don't have any pure solution to give. But out of wicked sentiments, they are against it. Most of whom have never experienced this bitterness directly or their loved ones have.
The only correction to Donald Trump's message is to generalize this terrorism in Nigeria as a global one against humanity, not only Christians. There are quite a lot of Muslims and other faith suffering the impact too. Even though, Christians are majorly targeted in sundry places, America's approach should be uniform and empathic to all by assisting to wipe out Islamic terrorism in Nigeria, which we all suffer as people. In that case, it won't be seen as showing favouritism to Christians alone and moderate Muslims will be glad to join the effort in fighting against these Islamic elements. I wish someone can whisper this fact to America to change the narrative. |

Politics › Re: 'Country Of Particular Concern': Kwankwaso Urges Nigerians To Stay United by Zehdbe(m): 8:35pm On Nov 02, 2025 |
u don talk am finish but some ppl with blocked brain no go understand dis one AbuBatuul: It’s honestly sad how easily many Nigerians are being manipulated by this newly pushed narrative. Yes, Nigeria has serious security challenges — especially in the North — and this has been ongoing for nearly two decades. But the idea that there is a “systematic ethnic or religious cleansing of Christians” is simply not supported by credible, long-term conflict data.
Most terrorism-related casualties in Nigeria have actually been Muslims living in majority-Muslim northern regions. This is well documented. Boko Haram and ISWAP have repeatedly bombed mosques, markets, village gatherings, schools, and highways in Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Zamfara, Katsina, Niger, Sokoto, Kebbi, etc. These are communities that are overwhelmingly Muslim.
Maiduguri is over 90% Muslim. Communities such as Bama, Gwoza, Geidam, Dapchi, Kukawa, Damboa, Magumeri, and others have been attacked countless times — and these are not Christian-majority areas. Even in Kaduna and Plateau, where populations are mixed, both Muslims and Christians have suffered. There is no evidence of a government-backed or nationally coordinated campaign to eliminate any religious group.
This does not mean Christians have not suffered — they have. Every loss of life is tragic. But making it look like Christians are being wiped out while Muslims are “fine” is simply false and erases the suffering of thousands of Muslim victims in the North.
Also — across the South (South-West, South-East, South-South), Muslims and Christians live together peacefully, do business, and attend schools together. If there were a genuine nationwide religious cleansing agenda, this would not be possible.
So why is this new narrative suddenly being amplified now?
Nigeria has been battling terrorism for almost 20 years. Even when Trump was previously in office, the situation existed — yet nobody labeled it “genocide.” But now that Nigeria is seemingly developing more economic independence — especially with the Dangote Refinery reducing reliance on foreign fuel imports — we are suddenly being told there is a “religious emergency.”
Meanwhile, the U.S. is facing massive internal issues: homelessness, inflation, gun violence, failing public health, and economic inequality. Yet we are told their priority is Nigeria’s Christians?
Let’s call it what it is: geopolitical interest, not humanitarian concern.
We must not allow foreign governments or sensational media to weaponize religion to divide Nigerians or justify intervention. The actual problem is terrorism and weak security infrastructure, and it affects all Nigerians, not just one religious group.
