Thanks

Neile:
Hi. I was only asked how long I would be staying which was 5 days and the officer said “enjoy your stay ma’am”. I was actually in the US to meet my Ob/Gyn and had all my health insurance documents but I wasn’t asked at all. At 23 weeks and no intention made to hide it (by wearing my jacket for instance), there was no mistaking that I was pregnant. I guess being a frequent traveler (Visited the US twice through EWR in 4 months and travel every other month to different countries) helped as in recent times I never get any serious questions. I hope this helps.

Hi there Neile,
May I inquire what types of questions you were asked at the Port of entry? What documentation did you have? I'm quite concerned being pregnant (not too far gone) if I would have a hard time.
Thanks.

Neile:
Yes they do. I flew to the US last week using Ethiopian airlines at 23 weeks and used fit to fly from Lagoon hospital. Be sure to have photocopies with you as they request for copies.

Hello all. I am a silent follower of this thread and need some advice. I have an interview next week with my husband. He was denied in Jan this year as a result of lack of ties despite us being married. We are now going together this time. I lived in the US for 10 years while doing my bachelors and masters, came home often during Christmas holidays and such and have visited the states about 2ice since i returned 5 years ago. My passport with a valid visa got missing early this year which is why i am applying afresh now. My husband schooled in the UK and we have traveled to Ghana and Zanzibar together as well together. I haven't been nervous of an interview like i am this time. We both earn over 400k per month at our respective companies and are going on a 2 week vacation. Do you think we stand a good chance together

Also his passport expires at the end of september. He has a new passport attached to the old passport. But the details for the old passport is what was recorded in the application. Should that pose a problem.
