EndyTech:
The reason his effort doesn't show is because everybody in the party works as though they are the chairman. Everybody takes up the responsibility of doing what ought to be done, irrespective of whose job it is to do.

More like a Socialist Party. The APC on the other hand is left in the dictates of one man, that is why it seems he is working very hard, rather, he is working too hard. A political party is run by everybody. And yes, it is an association.

It is better to work smarter than harder.

APC had every reason to win Ekiti; it was Oshiomole's first ever assignment as National Chairman, Fayose was a pain in Buhari's a*s and the Government needed to prove that the Federal might supersedes the States'.

Bauchi, Katsina and Kogi are ruled by the APC, so it was going to be a do or die for the APC to win the bye-elections conducted there. For Kogi, Yahaya wanted to prove he could deliver his State, Katsina is the President's home state, and the election was contested by two siblings of same parents, Bauchi, the Speaker is not in good terms with his Governor, he didn't campaign for APC, and didn't campaign for the PDP either, he just showed the Governor that he could deliver his immediate constituency to any party. His silence made his supporters assume he was supporting PDP, hence, PDP's victory there.

Really, Oshiomole's true strength will be tested in 2019. The PDP and Secondus accept their defeat without making noise. Most times you lose a few to gain more. It's like playing checkers or Chess games, if your opponent never kill a few of your players, you can't have room to navigate.

If I were APC, I will be more concern about the implications of Secondus' silence, than his achievements.
