Lol. At the front page, it was reported that a lecturer at Delta state poly chased several girls wearing no bra and panties out of the class. Truth is most of these girls pick up these whorish behavior from their elder sisters, aunties, even mothers. A lot of mothers know their daughters indulge in hoeing.
And these girls are empty upstairs when you try engaging them in a conversation, they can hardly muster a point. You just get them laid, throw the money at them and let them out of the door.
Nigerian women are a total write off.

Unfortunately, they are being used & wasted. And those are the same future wives Naija men intend to marry.

You voted your representatives and they get paid. If you voted paper weights and those who have little or no clout, believe me, you are on your own (OYO). In politics, political & mental capacity supercedes.

You cant hate and expect them to love you. There is nothing wrong with the callers expression. Let the children know their place in Nigeria and start early to plan their future without so much trust or belief in the so-called one Nigeria where a high profile job is denied that Igbo man that is very qaulified and instead given to a dullard hausa man because they are born to rule.
Listen, you can't use a debate in one radio station among many stations in Lagos to determine the most qualified. I have seen organized competition on radio and kids who are Edo won the prize. Would that also mean Edo are the most qualified or brilliant.
Whatever political games being played in Abuja, has nothing to do with the kids. Anambra just concluded an election and i don't think any kids was allowed to determine their Governor.
What the caller said was totally wrong and more wrong of anyone to toll that line of thought.

Bro you are on the Wrong side. Switch!

GOD is as real as Real! The Bible is as true as true where I am.
I Believe GOD with all my Life
I Believe His Word with All of My Life.
I Act on HIS Word with all Confidence!
It works as Real as it is with Ease.

You need a Switch bro!
Christianity is not in Mouth!
Christianity is Believing and Trusting in GOD and HIS Word just as you see it.
God is real, his works were real too. Jesus, the Apostles and early Christians made manifest the works of God and people could see, which made many followed Christ and believed his words-. because they saw it real. But Today, you hardly see nothing. What we see is more money less faith, more science less spirituality, more prayers less answers, more preachings less salvation. Maybe when we die, we will all know what to believe.

Permit me also to be wharrever you wanna call it:

I'm sure the schools selected their best students in order to win the competition and you just told us who the best students are,

But when it comes to politics they remember that they're not good enough. I'm sure that's the message the caller was trying to pass across.

When some people say that others are not good enough to hold some positions you won't remember that is tribalism. But you have rushed here to tell us that those callers are tribalistic.
I'm not aware of the process of selection. Of course, not all schools in Lagos are being represented. This is the maiden edition, perhaps, selected few schools around the axis were drafted for a start. I am aware it would be an annual event so there will be an expansion. But look, Lagos is cosmopolitan city, it is home to almost all the tribes in the country and kids from different background are doing extremely well in their studies. I do not expect adults to start creating dichotomy among kids who are bonding well in schools with each other. Leave the kids out of it and vent your anger to those concerned.

Beyond faith, have you not observed that what was written in the scriptures is a far cry from what is happening now. Seems the power as of old is diminished, less visible, less awakening. The world seems overshadowing the church. Lastly, no more prophets!

Politics / They Are All Igbos, Make Dem Give Igbo Man The Presidency by zero8zero(m): 8:09pm On Nov 09, 2021
While I was driving home from work this evening, I tuned my radio into a popular Lagos station. There was a debate open only to Senior Secondary School students and a group of two participants battle it out between each other. Apparently, Igbo students make up the majority of the debators so far, i think all were igbos except for a Yoruba guy had already debated. More rounds to go in coming days and more students yet to take their turns. However i got my greatest shock when a caller called in during the break to contribute into the show.
The man said and i quote" Sandra( name of the presenter & organizer), my name is Mr.xyz, you are doing a good job, the show is wonderful. please permit me to be tribalistic for once. I listened yesterday and today and i noticed that all of them are igbos, make dem give Igbo the presidency na". He then concluded his words in Igbo which apparently the presenter also understand.
i couldn't hold back my disbelief. my colleague sitting right beside me was also shocked. Then we asked each other if it was appropriate for an adult to say such a thing on a radio show where kids are participating. what do you think will be going through the minds of those kids, I'm quite sure other participants will also be listening to the show. These are kids!, we should not colour their minds with tribalism this early at their age.

My Observation On Radio So Far; I have observed that tribalism exist out there as much as it exists on Nairaland. During a very heated argument, Igbo callers, who are many by the way, would bash the northerners, the few northerners who managed to call in would also return the bashing. The yorubas only take sides, some support the igbos, others support the view of the northerners. The presenter of the program sometimes had to end the program, take a long commercial break or change the topic entirely.
Things are happening, behind the smiles and handshake we put up with each other, radio affords people the annonymity to express one's rage and tribal innuendos against each other. Most times, the Presenter would have to cut off the caller.

Except you are an imposter but you should know that olukumi people are closer to igala people than they are to oduduwa people
It is funny how people say we are closer to Igalas than to Yoruba.
By proximity, we are closer to our Igala, edoid and igboid neighbors. By ancestry, we are Yoruboid. Our ancestors migrated from Owo in Ondo State. We have never denied who we are.

Ugbodu is not Yoruba.
Move on.
At best they can be said to be a member of the "defoid" ie the common language tree the proto Igala and Proto Yoruba people emerged from.
Either way, they met aboriginal Igbos on ground who acculturated and assimilated them.
Out of the 6 Odiani communities, 4 has been fully assimilated as Igbo speakers, while only 2 are still bilingual in Igbo(Enuani) and Olukumi( defoid) language.

Also it has to be understood that Olukumi is as intelligible to Yorubas as Igala is to Yorubas.
They are not mutually intelligible.
You must be a very confused person in life. First, you claimed Olukumi are igbos and Now, you're saying Igbo people have been assimilated as Igbo speakers.

When people on this forum say igbos are revisionist and derive pleasure in bringing others down. I am beginning to agree.
FYI, Ugbodu is an Olukumi town. In fact, the headquarters of Olukumi.

A BRIEF UNTOLD HISTORY ABOUT THE IGBO INCEPTION OF UGBODU KINGDOM .
November 26, 2018
There has always been igbos in ugbodu before the arrival of the warriors from Akure, sent by the then Oba of Benin wen he was in pursuit of the fleeing igbos from the Benin kingdom. Those warriors getting to ugbodu,settled....and called the igbos there "olukumi" meaning my friends. So ugbodu was an igbo town by inception hence the use of igbo language along side the yoruboid language(olukumi). You cant separate ugbodu from her igboness.

what I am saying is dat ndi igbo is part of the foundation of Ugbodu Kingdom and Anioma in general so when we are speaking of fore father's and birth right, that should be in mind too coz actually, the warriors were the ones who "came in" and settled ,meeting pre existing igbos . So one can decide to identify as onye igbo from Ugbodu in Anioma delta state and also those who feel they are Yorubas or olukumi can also identify as one.

http://ugboduanioma..com/?m=1
I don't know the stupid blog where you got your gutter narratives.
Akure warriors called Igbos Olukumi? cheesy.. This blog writer must be a mad man.
Why would Yoruba call Igbo Olukumi?. Was that the first time Yoruba people encountered igbos in history?.
There was never a time where a Yoruba group called Igbos Olukumi. Yoruboid in Delta are called Olukumi.
There was no where in our history where Oba of Benin sent Akure warriors to go after igbos fleeing Benin. Stop following stupid blogs for the sake of your sanity.

They are not Yorubas.
They are indigenous Igbos who Akure warriors who Oba Bini sent to conquer them settled among them and became their kings, disobeying and cutting off the Oba Bini in the process.
The Owo(Yoruba soldiers) brought Yoruba culture and flavor to the people, which was subsequently diluted by the Indigenous Igbo flavor of the aboriginals.
Imagine an Igbo boy twisting our history. Is this not madness?
This Igbo boy says Olukunmi are indigenous Igbo!!. You must be out of your mind.
Do Igbos speak Olukunmi language?
