Racoon: Of course! You will never see any American, British or European tyrannical despots taken to the ICC. It is only Africans, Asians or any other people they deem powerless. owobokiri: Serious countries. Very purposeful governance. ICC is for only poor African, South American and Asian countries. Europeans and Americans who killed millions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Congo, Iran and co are all walking free. African countries need to remove themselves from all these dubious organisations. This wailing never complete if una no blame Tinubu for their withdrawal from ICC. |

At least Tinubu has been wasting a lot of money just for people to help him attack Peter Obi and Sowore. This morning some attack came from a paid NGO in US.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Tell us who's paying Obi and Sowore to attack Tinubu.. 🤡 |

This one just clocked 19years, he was just a nine year old boy 10 years ago. So, I would pardon your ignorance. |

If memories serve us well, this was the period Wike and Fayose were the only opposition Governors that were lambasting Buhari. Atikulators aka Obidients were literally hero worshipping Wike and Fayose and licking their behind. So what has changed?. Because Wike supported Tinubu but punched the teeth of Mr Gbajue and refused to support him in the last election despite the fraud begging him. I urge you guys to collect your L in peace and move on. Politics › Re: ₦2.225Tn: FAAC Shares Largest Allocation To Federal, States, Local Governments by zero8zero(m): 12:56pm On Sep 20, 2025 |
Ofunaofu: You’re confusing volume with value. Yes, FAAC is shared in naira but that doesn’t mean we should ignore what that naira is actually worth. When inflation is spiraling and the naira is rapidly losing value, N1 trillion today might have the same purchasing power as N400 billion three years ago. So what looks like an ‘increase’ is often just currency depreciation in disguise.
And no, nobody is saying we ‘spend in dollars’ but Nigeria doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Our economy is heavily import-dependent fuel, machinery, medicine, even food all priced in dollars. So when the naira weakens, costs skyrocket, and state governments' ability to fund real projects shrinks, even if the FAAC numbers look bigger on paper.
As for your debt claim, states borrowing during low inflation was largely due to low oil revenues and a bloated public sector. Now, we’re seeing ‘debt reduction’ partly because the exchange rate crash has made it nearly impossible to service external debt, forcing restructuring or delays. That’s not strategy; that’s survival..
So, if you're celebrating FAAC increases without adjusting for inflation or currency collapse, you're basically clapping for a pay raise while basic food prices, transport, rent etc now costs 5 times more. Make it make sense. This epistle is nonsense, doesn't make sense. If you're so bothered on dollars, go to the market and convert the price of garri to dollars and pay for it in dollar equivalent, since you wailers have absolutely no idea about macroeconomics. Today, we now have the true value of naira, rather than the artificial and subsidized value where there were four to five exchange rate windows. A situation whereby a few privileged could get dollars at 450 and sell it in the black market for 700.. trash!. Take several seat back abeg. |

Ofunaofu: Yes, you say governors are happy with FAAC ‘increases’ in Naira. But when you convert to dollars or even adjust for inflation, those ‘increases’ are partially or largely swallowed up by the Naira’s loss of value. Do you guys even try to guage your IQ before coming online to talk?. Why must you convert a naira dominated economy into dollars in spending terms?. Are we buying or selling in dollars in Nigeria?, Is FAAC shared in dollars?. Why is it that wailers are not smart upstairs?. As we speak, states have reduced their external debts, executing projects except for the lazy ones who doesn't want to do nothing. Like I earlier asked, when inflation was single digit & less than 15%, why were states and FG borrowing to pay salaries and increasing debt profiles?. Why were they not executing a single project?, since inflation is your lazy excuse.

mrvitalis: Less than 1.5 billion dollars per month as a nation of 200 million people is shameful Chubhie: Nigeria is a very poor country. Why is it's leaders living larger than wealthy nations that subsidize us via loans? How much is your state generating monthly?, abi na one of dem parasitic states that can't survive without Govt allocations. |
Politics › Re: ₦2.225Tn: FAAC Shares Largest Allocation To Federal, States, Local Governments by zero8zero(m): 11:22am On Sep 20, 2025 |
Ofunaofu: Compare the naira value of the so-called largest-ever FAAC allocation today to what it was before Tinubu 'grabbed it, snatched it, and ran away with it,' and you will realize the enormous and monumental damage Tinubu has done to the economy of this nation. SarkinYarki: Concert these figure to dollars and you will see they are decieving you...These clowns trigger the 10x devaluation and start bandying tissue paper values as progress ..Factor in devaluation and inflation and you will see this might be worse than every single month under Buhari or Jonathan Nawa for you wailers o, the Governors are not complaining, na you dey complain. Tell us one Governor that has come out to wail as una dey do, rather they appreciate the fact that they're getting more. When this country had recession back to back, did it not affect the entire economy?, were all the states not cash strapped?, did we even have increase in FAAC to ease off?. During GEJ, more than 20 states couldn't pay salaries, some were paying half salaries, almost all the state couldn't pay pensions and this was the period inflation rate was still ok. Yet the FG couldn't rescue the states, even Okonjo confessed the FG was also borrowing to pay workers salaries.. Now, that more funds is getting to the grassroots, you're complaining even when those collecting it did not ask you to complain for them. Inflation has been on steady decline, the Governors can now do more, Akwa-Ibom, Ebonyi, Edo etc have raised minimum wage up to 80k -100k, yet na wailers dey complain. Governors have invited the President to commission projects yet na wailers dey wail. Since your excuse is inflation, would you blame your state Governor after collecting the big cash to sit on it and do nothing since the money doesn't have value, make them kuku keep looting it or spend it on their mistresses, you will like that, right?. I pray make God dash una common sense. |

TimeManager: Menh... I had to quickly verify if it was true. I doubt if a lot of people have ever given this a thought. I really have massive respect for this man, Lere Olayinka and Reno, they're very factual and meticulous. Many of these people always making noise in the media, criticizing the Government and acting holier-than-thou, if you had the opportunity to check their wardrobe, you'd be shocked. No other person is fit, capable and qualified to be either the Chairman or the Presidential flagbearer among 200 Nigerians other than Sowore alone . And this is the guy acting like....
-Kiss the truth! Acting like the cleanest of humans and the champion of democracy. He's both the Chairman and presidential candidate. He's accountable to nobody, whatever he says is final. And the same Sowore would be calling for Govt scrutiny. Who is he himself accountable to in his party. Pretty sure, he handpicked all members of the committee of the party. I'm sure he will be the candidate once again in 2027 unopposed. |
