Through the pages of history, diseases, plagues, epidemics or pandemics as the case may be has ravaged humanity, causing widespread ailments, illness and deaths overtime, and known under different names such: as Athens, Antoninus, Cyprus, Justinianus, Swine flu, Cholera, Ebola, Smallpox and the most recent COVID-19. These outbreaks caused mammoth mayhems however, through scientific research and collective effort of cities’ inhabitants and various communities, some were eradicated and there is a massive success in reducing the impact of others. Let’s go through the history of world pandemics that predates COVID-19 and cities' resilience to the COVID-19 global Pandemic.
