Ever since this Peter Obi-Abacha saga, I have not really bothered myself to check if Nigeria's President Peter Obi worked for Abacha or not. That is not my primary concern. I honestly feel like Nigerians are missing the most important part of the whole situation. undecided

What is that? Follow me.

There was congestion at the ports which are most probably man-made due to corruption that is endemic in Nigeria. This congestion was hampering Nigeria's economic growth viz-a-viz export and imports because maybe one "Oga At The Top" has made himself an oracle at the ports to enrich his personal pockets, service his numerous girlfriends and buy choice properties at highbrow areas in Nigeria.

Now the government became concerned. They needed to fix the situation.

The government of Abacha now requested for who can fix that problem IMMEDIATELY and DECISIVELY. Peter Obi was probably recommended.

The end is now history. Peter Obi came in and in 2 weeks, every thing returned to normalcy at Nigeria's ports. Virtually, EVERYTHING!

The most important point of the whole situation?

It is immaterial if President Peter Obi met Abacha in person or not. The green is that he fixed the problem. Nigerians rejoiced.
