ninz: Wow man, u seem to have a lot of dealings with dat country. smiley
U mean I shud just ask for oil wholesaler around Tokpa? Kk.
U haven't said d qty of oil for dat 14000/15000, can I know if its for a carton, 20ltrs, etc?
I do buy that 30 liters yellow rubber ( just one for 15,000cefa). What I meant is, when you reach tokpa market, just ask any body that deals on food stocks, he/ she might direct you properly.

ninz: Grateful, merry Xmas to u.
U said 15,000 cefa, for wat quantity of d oil, pls?
Also, I got stuff from tops but I believe I cud get a beta deal if I located d importers/wholesalers, I hope u get my drift.
Okay, since you are buying in large quantity, its should be cheaper than 15000 cefa. Maybe you might see for 14,000cefa. there is an importer that stays at that road beside tokpa market. just ask when you reach tokpa market, you will be directed. Merry Xmas to you too.

lordrhaw: i hail u all @zhukafa u are doing a great job GOD bless u IJN please i want to visit cotnou for vacation and i budget like 10k for my stay in cotonou for about 4days did u think d 10thousand naira i budgeted for it will be enough including toll and fro transport??
Thanks so much. But concerning your budget, I will say, its low. let's just look at a little break down below.

Transport from Lagos (mile 2) to seme -#300×2= #600
Transport from across the border to cotonue town -- 1000cefa×2=2000 cefa × 335 =670 naira
Hotel accommodation per night --- 6000cefa ×4days = 24,000 cefa × 335 = 8,040 naira

From the above calculation, the cost of your transportation to and fro, including hotel bills sums up to 9,310 naira. So you can see that feeding and other fun activities wouldn't take place.

thanks
RomanceRe: Help! I Always Attract Men That Want Just Sex! by zhukafa(m): 6:22am On Dec 01, 2013
Do you have sexy hips. if yes, then that may be part of the cause. For me, that's what I look up in a woman. the area of not exposing your body in an provocative manner, Even if you wear a long gown or short skirt which is very much below the kneel, it doesn't matter. The eyes see beyond the clothes.

oriire: @Zhukafa, thanks am grateful. But i don't have passport to clear myself at Lome border, pls how do i do this, must i walk at night to d place, can i put my money in Eco-bank, also i can't speak french. Is tin tomatoes cheap there too and is it contraband goods too? And how do i cross to Nigeria with my goods safely without costoms palafa. Pls attend to my questions.
You can still cross without a passport. that's the 500 cefa that you will pay at the Alakonji boarder. Alakonji boarder is not that hard as seme. seme boarder is one of the roughest boarder in west Africa.

Secondly, its not a must to move at night. you can go during the day and then transact your business. from seme boarder to Lome is like 3-4 hrs.

Thirdly, I have never used the medium of Eco bank, so I won't be in the better position to answer this.

fourthly, some Nigerians that do business there don't hear french likewise. so just try to be extremely sharp and careful.

fifth, your bail is contraband, for the tin tomatoes I think its cheaper here. rather than taking all the risk just for little gain ( I mean tin tomatoes). But for the bail, its worth it.

For the crossing of it, there are people that do cross it , the stay outside the market ( Asiea) market. But just be careful to get a good fellow.

thanks.

TravelRe: Need Traveling Advice To Cotonou by zhukafa(m): 6:19pm On Nov 22, 2013
oriire: zhukafa pls i need ur response
Sorry for the late response. Your money should be changed at seme border. Then cross the border ( read my earlier post on how to cross the boarder safely). Then across the border, they are cabs goings to Lome, they charge 4000 cefa which is around 1300 naira. Then when you reach at the boarder between continue and Togo, its called Alakonji boarder. You all in the cab will come down from the cab and go and clear yourself at the boarder ( you will pay like 500 cefa) then you cross with your foot, while the cab will be waiting for all of you, some distance apart from the boarder. when you walk and meet the cab, you enter and then you people will continue the trip. note: if you are. going at night, before of some bag snatchers at the boarder immediately you have crossed the boarder. they will just come out from there hid out and then struggle your bag from you from the back. I fought with one of them at the hours of 3am, when they where struggling with the girl at my back.

The name of the market where you will buy the bail is called Asiea market.

thanks. safe trip.

My Brothers and friends, thanks for your previous assistance. Still help with this one. thanks.

1) Mercury -197 is used for kidney scans and has a half-life of 3 days. If the amount of mercury-197 needed for a study is 1.0 gram and the time allowed for shipment is 15 days, how much mercury-197 will need to be ordered?

2) The half-life of strontium-90 is 25 years. How much strontium-90 will remain after 100 years if the initial amount is 4.0 g?

3) If the half-life of uranium-232 is 70 years, how many half-lives will it take for 10 g of it to be reduced to 1.25 g?

oriire: @Zhukafa, why did u failed to answer my question since all this days.
Am so sorry, I was in a place where network was limited. what's your question.
EducationRe: Chemistry Guru's Help Out. by zhukafa(op): 7:17pm On Nov 21, 2013
Odilop: wink
Mole of acid used is. 50/1000*0.1
=0.005moles
No of mole of caco3
2HCL+CaCO3=CO2+CaCL2+H2O
2 mole of HCL=1 moles of CaCO3
0.005mole give 0.005/2 mole of CaCO3
0.0025 moles of cacO3
Mass of caCO3=0.0025*100
=0.25g
Thus, percentage =0.25/0.5
=0.5 *100%
=50%
thanks I appreciate. please review and tell me how sure you are. thanks in anticipation.
IT'S LONG BUT GO THROUGH IT CAREFULLY
CaCO3 + 2HCl ----> CaCl2 + H2O + CO2 ------- eqn 1
Mole ratio 1 : 2
no of moles of HCl= (50/1000)*0.100= 0.005mol NOTE THAT THIS IS IN EXCESS

HCl + NaOH -------> NaCl + H2O ------------eqn 2
Mole ratio 1 : 1
no of moles of NaOH = (5.0/1000)*0.12= 0.0006 mol
from eqn 2, no of moles of HCl= 0.0006 mol
Actual no of moles of HCl that reacted in eqn 1 = Excess - Used
= 0.005mol - 0.0006mol
=0.0044mol
Back to eqn 1
CaCO3 + 2HCl ----> CaCl2 + H2O + CO2 ------- eqn 1
Mole ratio 1 : 2
no of moles x : 0.0044
x = (0.0044*1)/2 = 0.0022 mol
NOTE: 1 mol of CaCO3 = 100g
0.0022 mol of CaCO3 = 0.22g
% of CaCO3 in sample = (Mass of CaCO3/Mass of mixture)*100
= (0.22/0.500)*100
= 44%
thanks I appreciate. but how sure is your answer and workings.
