I witnessed this too a few weeks back in Kubwa, Abuja. Someone accused another guy who was sitting close to my friends and I in a particular lounge we were hanging out in. In our own case, we called the police ourselves and threatened the man who was laying the claim that we will deal with him if it turns out to be a lie.

We even asked him to open his trousers and when he did, it was still there, though small. He then changed his story to the man reduced it or something. We stood our ground that he was lying.

Anyway, after a few minutes, the useless guy who was accusing someone took off. He started running. He was pursued and captured. They started beating him before the police came and took him away.

This whole thing has been a big lie. People are just trying to settle vendetta and steal and cause chaos.

War is a terrible thing. If you could, avoid it at all cost. I pray peace returns to all lands.

First, this conversation started with regards to employment and bringing people into the FIRS, not about other aspects of Ifueko's work.

Now if we're to talk about employment, did Nami advertise any job at the FIRS all through his time? He never did. In fact, in that regard, Fowler is better than him. Fowler remains the last FIRS Chairman to publicly advertise for roles at the agency. Under Nami, FIRS jobs became 5 million naira. Under him, Nupe boys and boys from his area in Tunga, Minna, got jobs without going through the processes of employment. It was under Nami that the HR in FIRS didn't even know about vacancies, until when it's time to document new members of staff.

But it's only on Nairaland and Twitter that folks who know nothing, are nothing, argue on a subject that they're so ignorant about. I don't have the time nor the energy to start listing Ifueko's achievements here. They're too many.

Ifueko is a legend in FIRS. Downright the best boss in the agency's history. Only one that gave jobs to nobodies, without asking for anything or anyone presenting a letter from anywhere.

Congratulations to President Bola Tinubu on this favourable court verdict. Coming from nowhere as nobody to become the president is something that is beyond human making.

However, I felt the judges spent a great deal of time researching to shoot down the petitions than to review the pieces of evidence received and testimonies given by witnesses. Perhaps they needed to prove to the Obi-dients wrong about being bribed.

The only sad fallout from the court verdict, which I pray that Supreme Court will reverse is the issue of electronically uploading the results from polling booths as an essential composite part of INEC's collation process to complement the physical transmission. We can raise the bar and then crash it stupidly.

You're an intelligent fellow. Same sentiments I also had. It didn't also help that they and their families were being threatened. It felt almost like a schooling and a scolding. Which was why a great deal of time was spent on Labour's petition; which was also why the courts allowed a live transmission of results.

That e-transmission is also where I absolutely didn't agree with them. I guess agreeing that INEC should have been bound by it would have resulted in an entire cancellation of almost all the entire results, since nothing much was transmitted electronically anyway.
