I have a male friend who is in his early 40s. Over the past few years he has been trying to find a wife which was proving to be very hard. 2 years ago he met this lady in our church and they were getting along well. They had a few hiccups along the way but this expected for every relationship. Some months ago I started hearing rumours about his girlfriend and how she was sleeping around with a married man in the church. Also, it was rumoured that the lady was kicked out of her old church for the same behaviour. At first I ignored it but the rumours have started again. My friend confided me that he intends to propose to the lady shortly. Please may you advise me if I should tell my friend about the rumours? I am scared to say anything because I don’t actually have any proof that his lady has done anything wrong? I know he will be really crushed because he really wants to settle down and start his own family.

I need some advise. I am from Zimbabwe and my boyfriend is Nigerian. He is a Muslim and I am Christian. The relationship is serious and we are at that stage where we want to meet each other’s families. In the past, he expressed that his family are very traditional and practising Muslims. He reassured me that he will protect me and ensure that I am treated well.
Also, we have spoken at length about our interfaith relationship and how this will impact our children in the future. He told me that he doesn’t mind the children being raised in the Christian faith. He is always telling me that he is liberal and open minded. Am I being naive by believing all his promises and will he change on me in the near future
