Success is not something that can be accomplished overnight. It takes a lot of hard work, time and sheer dedication. Every successful leader, entrepreneur or idealist has had their own unique journey as they strove for what they believed in and proved to society that anyone can break free from the chains they think are holding them back. Here are seven sentences you’ll never hear a successful person say because they contradict that unstoppable attitude.

1. “I hate my job”
One highly-admired quality in successful people is that they are never too opinionated about their job or workplace, irrespective of what they might be doing at any point in life. Even if they are in a situation which is uncomfortable or are surrounded with negative energy, they always avoid statements like the above. These negative elements do nothing but slow you down in your journey to achieve success. Instead of insulting a person, the job or the company, they seek to resolve issue with proper facts, tactics and complete neutrality.

2. “That’s not fair”
Did your rival receive an award, appraisal, or recognition and you got nothing, while you’re twice as dedicated and productive? A mistake successful people never make is ranting and raving about the injustices of life. Unfairness is something you have to get used to. Success is not gifted to you — you have to work to earn it, and in the midst of doing that you need to show you deserve it.
Instead of whining and complaining, the secret of being able to move on is to be proactive about such issues and not reactive. Causing a scene will only affect you negatively. If you think you were much more deserving, prove it by making a strong case and presenting it.

3. “That’s not how it’s done here"
Innovation is a key characteristic of successful people, whichever fields they might be in. You have to learn to embrace new things and not be afraid of doing away with conventions. Nobody ever achieved anything great without trying something new.
Take Steve Jobs for instance: Mr. Jobs was very passionate about innovation and such passion led to amazing creations like the iPhone and the iPad, devices that changed the world. Jobs once said, “Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.”

4. “That’s not my job”
There is one big rule which successful individuals follow: If you are truly successful, you will help others succeed as well. An example of this can be taken from Mr. Warren Buffett, who said, “Someone’s sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.”
Becoming a team player is what helps you get closer to success, and if you are not a team player success will never come to you. 5. “That’s impossible”
Successful people know that boundaries and limits are only creations of the mind, and we ourselves give birth to such restrictions. Such statements needlessly hold you back from achieving greatness. Achievers do not complain about barriers or hurdles; instead they find a way around obstacles and use their creativity to challenge them.
Negative words like “can’t,” “won’t,” and “impossible” are never heard from the mouths of successful individuals. They know complaining will not help them, but actually doing something about the issue at hand will.

Regret is the worst feeling an individual can face, to keep revisiting times when they “could have” done something, the situation was out of hand or else they “would have,” now realizing that they “should have.” Successful individuals do not give themselves the opportunity to regret. This is due to two reasons: either they take the opportunity, no matter the odds, and turn the tables around; or they move on and find another opportunity that awaits. Regret is never going to serve anyone.

7. “I have no choice”
There are always options and opportunities at hand, and successful people know how to create their own way to these opportunities. Price pointed out, “To say we have no choice in the matter implies that we perceive ourselves as a victim, that we are less powerful than our environment.”

Having more than one wife may cause some serious heartache.

Men who are polygamous face more than quadruple the risk of having blocked heart vessels, compared with men married to one woman, new research suggests.

"We found an association between an increasing number of wives and the severity and number of coronary blockages," study co-author Dr. Amin Daoulah, a cardiologist at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, said in a statement. This link could be due to the burden of maintaining several households, which can be costly both financially and emotionally, Daoulah said.

According to the Koran, men in polygamous marriages must treat each household fairly and equally. "It seems likely that the stress of doing that for several spouses and possibly several families of children is considerable," Daoulah said.

In the study, the more wives a man had, the greater his risk of heart disease, according to the findings presented today (April 29) at the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology Congress 2015. [Life's Extremes: Monogamy vs. Polygamy]

However, the study does not prove a cause-and-effect relationship between polygamy and heart woes. It's possible that other, hidden factors, such as the level of intimacy in a marriage, eating habits or genetic factors, could play a role in polygamy and heart disease risk, Daoulah said.

Monogamy versus polygamy

A study published earlier this year in the journal Biology Letters suggests that men and women both fall on a continuum from monogamous to promiscuous, with slightly less than half of men, and slightly more than half of women, preferring to have only one serious partner at a time.

However, some scientists have argued that polygamy makes evolutionary sense for men, but not women. That's because polygamous men can have many more children than monogamous men during a given period, whereas women can have only one child every nine months, no matter how many partners they have during that span.

However, the children of monogamous couples don't have to share the father's time and resources with the children of other women. And studies show that wives of polygamous men tend to have fewer children on average than wives with monogamous husbands.

Moreover, polygamy may not be such a great deal for men, or society, either. Adding more people to the marital equation increases the potential for interpersonal conflict and requires more resources. A 2012 study in the journal Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B found that across time, societies that permit polygamy have higher rates of violence, poverty and gender inequality.

Heart problems with wives

To understand how the dynamics of polygamy may affect men's health, Daoulah and colleagues looked at men in the Middle East, where polygamy is more culturally accepted. In Islam, men are allowed to marry up to four different women, as long as they can support all of them and treat each wife and her children equally. (Each wife typically lives in a separate household in Islam.)

Daoulah's team followed 687 men who were referred for heart disease testing at five hospitals in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Among the men, 68 percent had one wife, 19 percent had two wives, 10 percent had three wives and 3 percent had four wives.

The men were 59 years old on average. More than half had high blood pressure and diabetes, and nearly half had a prior history of heart disease. Men who were polygamous tended to be older and to live in more rural areas, the researchers noted.

Compared with their monogamous counterparts, the polygamous men in the study had 4.6 times the risk of having narrowed coronary arteries, and 2.6 times the risk of having multiple narrowed arteries, according to the study.

Dr. Michel Komajda, a past president of the European Society of Cardiology who was not involved in the new study, said that stress may play a role in the link.

"We know that long-term stress in family life increases the risk of coronary heart disease," Komajda said in a statement. It would be interesting to see what effect polygamy had on wives' risk of coronary heart disease, he said.

People with psychological and social problems are less likely to take their heart medicine, which could also play a role in the problem, Komajda said.

The ratio of these digits' lengths could hint at everything from personality to intellect to physiology, a number of studies suggest.

Here are some of the things a man's finger length may say about him.
1.Nice to women?
Men with short index fingers and long ring fingers tend to be nicer toward women, according to a new study, to be published in the March issue of the journal Personality and Individual Differences. The finding could be a result of sex hormone exposure in the womb, scientists say.

In the study, more than 155 individuals (78 men and 77 women) filled out forms for every social interaction with a member of the opposite sex lasting five minutes or longer in a three-week period, using a checklist of "agreeable" or "quarrelsome" behaviors. Men with small digit-ratios (shorter index fingers relative to ring fingers) engaged in roughly a third more agreeable behaviors toward women, and a third fewer quarrelsome ones, than men with large digit-ratios, the reports showed.

Previous research has found that this "2D:4D" ratio — the ratio of the ­length of the second digit (the index finger) to that of the fourth digit (the ring finger) — reveals the amount of male hormones, mainly testosterone, a person is exposed to in the womb. The more testosterone, the longer the ring finger grows.

And studies have also linked this ratio to a host of other qualities.

2.Penis size

A smaller 2D:4D ratio has been linked to a longer stretched penis size, according to a 2011 study published in the Journal of Andrology.

The study involved 144 volunteers ages 20 and older who were undergoing urological surgery. While the men were anesthetized, researchers measured the lengths of the men's fingers and joysticks (both flaccid and stretched, which is linked to the erect penis size).

3.Facial attractiveness

Men who have a shorter index finger than ring finger may also have more handsome faces, suggests a 2011 study published in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B.

The amount of testosterone a baby is exposed to before birth can affect how the individual's face develops, and how attractive that face is, the researchers said.

Previous research suggests that women prefer men with masculine, cavemanlike faces. In other words, women are traditionally more attracted to men who have relatively short, scrunched upper faces, as found in Will Smith and Brad Pitt.

4.SAT performance

Many of the finger-length correlations hold true in men only, but some apply to women as well.

For children of both sexes, digit ratio was linked to scores on the SAT college admission exam, a 2007 study published in the British Journal of Psychology found.

A team of scientists made photocopies of children's palms and measured their digit ratios. Then the researches compared these measurements with boys' and girls' performances on the SAT. Both boys and girls whose index fingers were shorter than their ring fingers scored higher, on average, in the math section than the verbal. And girls with larger digit-ratios (ring fingers longer than index fingers) scored better on the verbal portion of the test than the math one, the study found.

5.Prostate cancer risk

But while having a short index finger relative to ring finger has its advantages, they may come at a price: a higher risk of prostate cancer, according to a 2010 study published in the British Journal of Cancer.

Researchers looked at the ratios of these finger lengths in 1,500 prostate cancer patients and 3,000 healthy men over a period of 15 years. The scientists asked the men to look at pictures of hands and choose the one most similar to their own.

Men whose index fingers were the same length or longer than their ring fingers were 33 percent less likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer during the study than men whose index fingers were shorter, the study found.

The good news is, 33 percent is still a pretty small effect, so men with smaller digit ratios shouldn't be too concerned, the researchers said.
