I have been following this thread since barbiee created it. I have seen the contributions, i have followed those that commented to learn more on the process involve and i have started reading for NCLEX. After the motivations i garnered from here, i decided to I apply through an agency but it did not work out so i am taking the bull by the horn to initiate the process myself. My main motivation is to leave this country before the Nigeria nursing and it's frustration gets to me. I am interested in applying in state of Texas or any other states with less application hassles.

I am a Registered Nurse/Midwife with a BNsc and i am in a serious dilemma. I obtained my RM qualification before the RN and BNsc and all of these qualifications are obtained from different schools in Nigeria.
So in sourcing for information, i find out that what is CGFNS needed for evaluation is RN qualification which i obtained within 18 months accelerated program.

Herein lies my predicaments..

Will it cover the number of hours needed by CGFNS and BON in all faculties?
Do i need to include my RM in my application, if so how much will it cost?
Do you know of any basic midwives with post basic RN who was able to scale through CGFNS evaluation, the processes they followed and how much was spent?
I have heard of delays in obtaining CES report which may occur as a result of many factors. Quite frankly i do not wish to waste money applying for something that may cost me a great deal of headache. I am gathering some cash for this process and wish to be put through on the step my step process to avoid the delays.

Please I need your help, I'm a single mother and a Nurse who recently passed the nursing professional exam to migrate to USA, I'm presently with an agency that'd petition for me. Please my baby is 2years and my question is she (my baby ) is answering my father's first name as her surname and I'm answering my father's surname as my own surname meaning I don't answer the same surname with my baby, though I have an affidavit to support that I'm a single parent and that the baby's surname is my father's first name.

Also, what other documents should I provide cos I can't afford to miss this opportunity.

NB; The father of my baby denied her right from conception and since then I've not had any contact with him.

Please house, is there anyone who graduated from Abia state university uturu (Absu ), and has got his/her CES report from cgfns, please indicate cos I really wanna find out something

Contact cgfns and find out why they rejected the license validation. Everything(except death) has a solution when you have a good understanding of why it occurred in the first place.

I don't really know, but I'm suspecting it's because I verified both nursing and midwifery license While I filled only nursing on the Cgfns CES application.

If this is actually the problem, does it have a solution?

Please what do I do? Cgfns did not accept my license validation form from nursing council Nigeria.
