go to settings - apps - google play services and then clear data, restart your phone and then go to System Update

you cant cause the only way to format your phone memory is only through factory reset which will remove your IMEI...

Just upgraded to Marshmallow, no weird bugs discovered as claimed, didn't lose any app, just app data, backed up my music and pictures so I've got no problem with that, honestly I think my phone is faster, I use the 1GB variant by the way...

The truth is these bugs does not show immediately you upgrade but like a week after upgrade... So always keep your files intact

You guys should stop Upgrading to Marshmallow 6.0. There are lot of bugs for infinix hot 2
Just ignore the update by pressing down on the Restart and Install notification and the disabling the Google Play services Notification.... At least till a bug fixing update is released

I think everyone should start saying NO to marshmallow for now till its fixed... If you update you'd loose any file in your internal storage... It lags o...

. i think the bugs happen only to those who updated manually. I got the update automatically yesterday, I installed it and till now I haven't seen any of such bugs yet.

It's still fresh. They will start manifesting when you use them often...

Infinix can be stupid anyway.After I've upgraded to mm, since a week ago, I now saw the crazy normal system update this morning, 830 +mb for that matter, when I updated with just 630mb . Worst of all, I couldn't stop it from downloading, the thing just dey go ni,sucked up all the data I was using before I even noticed.. Thank God for MTN and psiphon in my life na so I rush go buy mtn card.The thing don download finish sha, buh i can't upgrade twice.. Naah

For those of you not seeing your files, but you can see your memory used up. The best option you've got is to factory reset your phone. That's why backing up your files before upgrading to mm must be taking seriously.
The mm hasn't been bad so far... Mine lags on very rare occasions . And for those having contacts ish, just import them from your Sim card. My phone shows the name of anyone who calls me, along as the number is on my sim.

I told someone this and he thought I was lying to people...

Don't mislead people! You cannot have upgrade to twice! Difference in size may be due to different factors like variant type (1gb RAM or 2gb RAM), status of phone before receiving the upgrade update i.e. if your phone is on the current or last update to usher in Marshmallow, or there fixes for your phone.

The only update to be downloaded after OS upgrade is bug fixes and enhancements!

Am misleading no one... I got mine twice...

Yeah. What the 624mb does is change your phone to MM6.0 with build number X510-D110-AndroidOne-20160101 and the 834mb changes your phone to MM6.01 with build number X510-D110-AndroidOne-20160201

Ok for Marshmallow 6.0 reviews.

1. It lags phone sometimes especially your gallery, Your Whatsapp and Some application will not respond until you go and force stop it.
2. It does not have fast boot option unlike 5.1.1 Lollipop so most times it takes time to boot.
3. I noticed that when your phone screen is off, to put it on back, you'd have to press your power button like 3-4 times. Sometimes for me it does not come on I have to remove the battery.
4. The Scrolling is smooth.
5. If you upgrade to 6.0 please don't wipe your phone if you want to change imei without tooting else you'd loose your imei.
6. It shows only contacts saved on your gmail account I.e when the numbers on your sim call u, you won't see their name.

That's all for now... But its really cool.

Hi, please the display light on my phone just went off as if my phone switched off but ithe phone is not off because messages come in, the phone still rings when I have a call, the notification light is blinking but the screen is still not coming on, what could be the problem? The thing the brighness was too high so I reduced it very low, it was working fine until after few minutes it just went off and I can't see anything again

Have u tried removing the battery and turning it on again Was this after your upgrade...
