You still could not provide a narrative of reasonable explanation from yourself of what you understand as a fixed asset. I give up
VAT is 7.5% in2024 ,2025 and 2026, nothing new and nothing changed so you lot screaming vat up vat down have n o clue. Kindly check IAS 16 for the meaning. Presently, we are discussing rate of Vat on Fixed assets. |

Celebrities › Re: “Tax Don Start” — Influencer Cries Out After Paying ₦487,500 VAT On ₦6.5 Million by zoomman(m): 8:57pm On Jan 03 |
erico2k2: Plz go and read what the definition of VAT and come back lets see if it fits into your narrative. This debate on here about VAT just further reveals how clueless citizens of Nigeria are as to what policies entails even if it was looking at us in the face The Only thing that is new here is its enforcement, Penalties and mode of payment meaning if you have been dodging remitting VAT you will now be fined. But in paper all is good but in reality the vast majority of it is not enforceable. Perhaps you're the one clueless, because Vat of 7.5% is charged on fixed assets and other products and services in Nigeria since last year. Go and do your research and revert. |

erico2k2: This statement of yours was it not true for last year? if it was true for last year then what changed? Boss, it's a simple maths 7.5% of the cost of a product or services is the tax. Nothing has changed, I am just trying to update you on the new tax regime that took effect this year. |
Celebrities › Re: “Tax Don Start” — Influencer Cries Out After Paying ₦487,500 VAT On ₦6.5 Million by zoomman(m): 11:25am On Jan 03 |
Learned person should know that VAT is 7.5% and the new tax regime is progressive tax in nature. So the higher the worth of the purchase, the higher the Tax. |

kernniejay: African teams have not been fantastic in this tournament. I'm especially disappointed in Egypt. Look at how South Africa played them like adult playing children, with 62% possession against 38% of Egypt in the second half. Egypt could not even near South Africa's side of the field. As for the Super Eagles, it's too early to determine what they can do, they may surprise you when you are expecting to be disappointed and they may discourage you when you think they will impress you. We are still watching them with fingers crossed, let's see how there second match will look like. Their first outing was just average.
Hello OP, Benin vs Botswana is 1:30pm NOT 4pm You criticize Egypt as if possession wins game. They were one man down and still beat SA. |

These statements is too heavy for a learned person like the VP, it's more like in a military kind of government statement. It's obvious that APC is home and dry with the high level of defections but that doesn't mean discouraging oppositions. There's no democracy without oppositions and freedom of association and expressions. I am sure if it's an opposition that made this statement, DSS would have invited such for questioning. |

Let them play like hungry lions till they all get red card because that's the feature of a hungry lion. |

bigpicture001: Every continent have a play off .. Wich after playing , the winner of the playoff come for the intercontinental play off... So if Wales and Japan fails to qualify, they will go through play off route Says who? I doubt if you're conversant with the present rules. Go and do your research, no European teams is going to be involved in the intercontinental playoffs for the world cup. Go and verify my statements. For the Asian teams, yes they are involved but trust me, Japan will qualify directly. We will be left with Caledonia, Iraq and others. |

Japan is 19 on FIFA ranking and Wales is 34 None of these teams will be in the playoff because Japan will qualify and wales is an European team, they have their own playoff. |
