alusiala:Hey. 9/09/19 |
CastedDude:Thank you and Amen! |
CastedDude:Guy the embassy drops list of approved visas weekly. My number came up on the 13/08/19 - 19/08/19 batch. Bear in mind I submitted 1/07/19. I haven't gotten the visa. I don't even know if it has left Dublin yet. Just check the site. |
Lerrrrrrrrrry:The reference form was generated when you filled that study visa form online. It's also on that application summary page we submitted. However, if you don't remember, call the embassy. They are only available 9am -12pm. So you need to time that call. Ask about your application and that you don't remember your reference, you can give other details like your passport number and your Name and they will help you retrieve it. |
I called the Abuja Consulate last week and they told me my application was forwarded to Dublin. I asked them if this was standard procedure, but they said it was because of the sheer volume of applications. If you do check your reference, email the HQ at Dublin to inquire further visamail@justice.ie. |
Looked through all the pdfs in the http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/Visa%20Decisions Looks legit. Found mine But also means they forwarded the applications late.

mightyola:Hey there! Please update as soon as you get it. I submitted on the 1st July, been quite optimistic it would be processed in 7 weeks lol. But UPS hasn't updated yet. UCC people did you guys get the course registration email. I just did mine. I would love to connect with people going to Cork! Best wishes to everyone awaiting their Visas! |
Zudoka:He should send them an email sha. For me, it took one month |
Hey people. Anyone going to UCC? |
[quote author=Santino1 post=53580004]Well, Zurich is a very expensive city with rents going for at least CHF 600 in the central zone. However, you might get one of the students apartments if you are lucky ( but first you have to be admitted to a programme to qualify). Also, your chance of "hustling" (in the Nigerian sense) is very limited except of course you speak German which boosts your chances tremendously. On the flip side, Zurich is a very clean and efficient city so you'll be getting your money's worth. I'm assuming you are looking at ETH Zurich. It's an excellent school which is consistently ranked in the top 10 in the world and I recommend it. Good luck with your application. @santino1 and any other person who can give relevant information Please I am interested in Eth Zurich for masters in Electrical Engineering, I also aim to settle in Zurich, soon after, what are my chances of getting admitted? Would I be able to find a student job? Also I get the hierarchy about the work permit after, Swiss then EU, then trade countries before they consider pure foreigners. How has that affected you so far? have you still thrived nevertheless? I also wish to learn German while in school, how do I go about this. Also if you have additional information about Eth Zurich, please say |
