Recently, Transparency International rated Corruption perception in Nigeria Higher than in the previous administration. This mean that the corruption in Nigeria under the Change administration who where elected with the hope of Corruption fight has gotten worst. Even though the report of the Transparency International has been faulted by the present administration, activities of some high ranking members in the Civil and Public service has shown otherwise.
Just recently, an aptitude test and interview for the post of the Chief Medical Director University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital was conducted, however, What transpired is nothing more that a charade, a complete abuse of due process. The Outgoing CMD has catigoricaly indicated interest in a candidate and has gone as far as stealing money (worth millions) from the hospital to bribe the board members. This went as bad to the extent that the hospital is unable to completely pay salaries for the month of July 2018.
The present CMD has catigoricaly made it clear that if anyone apart from his candidate of Choice emerge victorious, he is likely to go to jail for the so much embezzlement of funds done in his administration.
This is a complete mockery of fight against corruption and could on a lighter note be said that "this is the worst corruption fight in the history of Corruption fight".
