If you are good with ebay, you ll know that eBay bots will detect an account accessed from a different location other than its original location. Accessing an eBay account opened in US with a Nigerian internet service provider will temporarily restrict that account in just few days. People use vpn to stick to the original location of the account and not raise suspicions. It doesn't matter whether you are shipping to US or not. Nobody wants to buy an account now and tomorrow it's restricted.
