geekybabe: 30k is a lot. You have not even factored in cost of daily living, rent, feeding and all. Finding a job is not that simple. Even a salary earner with a full time job can hardly save that 30k annually on a 80k salary.
Tired at this point, I can't seem to find a cheaper course in masters. This is because I want to move with family.
MarksmanD: Maybe you should consult with more licensed agencies. Or search for schools you're interested in and write to their admission office asking if you can be admitted to your preferred study program. If you don't see your preference, then maybe you should try other countries because you can only get a Spousal open work permit in Canada if your master's study program is at least 16 months long.
MarksmanD: You have been asking this same question for a month now. Some people have done their best to answer your questions to the best of their knowledge. Maybe we don't have the answers you seek here. And probably you need to pay a licensed RCIC agent to give you the answer you seek.
My brother Im tired too. I contacted an agency and I had settled for health sciences then they said it thesis based and they do not advise I apply for that then they gave me option for project management, Masters in health management and they are not something I like.
Good day everyone I have dropped several comments here and I am still stuck.
I need help in choosing a course ( IT preferably or Healthcare) in Masters, I have BSC in Biochemistry and cumulative 2/3 years experience in Technical support (Azure), system administration and Frontend.
It has to be masters cause I intend to move with wife and kid.
JMG12: Since you have 3 years of experience in IT, they will accept you. You can message the admission team before submitting any application. Check this video it will help you understand career progression
MarksmanD: Hello sir/ma, you have asked this question for the past few days and no one has replied to you. It's not all questions people answer on this platform. Once most people get their visas or a rejection, they forget about this thread. Most of the advice you'll receive here regards to your visa application based on our experiences. You might be lucky to receive an advice from someone who has applied to your institution. As long as you're not using an agent, then you'll have to do most of your research yourself. Also, you don't have to depend on Nairaland alone for your questions, you can check canadavisa.com. YouTube is also a very rich resource platform. Join OJC Telegram group. There's no question you have regarding Canadian immigration, that an Indian hasn't answered on the Internet. You'll also have to join Indian forums. Good luck.
Thank you so much for this I really appreciate it 🙏
I am seriously considering studying MBA in information systems and Management at International Business University, Canada.
I want to ask if anyone has attended that school here, I need honest opinions.
They are kind of the only university that offers masters in an IT related course that matches my available requirements, as most universities require a BSc in computer science which I don't have, I have BSc in Biochemistry.
It also ticks the box of PGWP and been able to bring in my spouse too.
What is holding me down is I need to get reference letter from my workplace to prove my work experience in IT but I just joined them and in January i will be confirmed hence that is when I can get the letter from them.
I also want to know if there are other IT course (Masters) in other universities that I can consider.
bullstriker: Most MScs require a degree in a related field. If you want me to help you apply to this program, send me a message.

JMG12: This is Nova Scotia Community College, people who are registered to college program are not qualify to bring their spouse on SOWP.
Thank you, Can you please recommend a course for masters and a university as well.
I am also thinking that since I do not want to study anything related to Biochemistry (my school discipline) and most Master IT courses requires Computer science degree, DO you think My wife that studied Biochemistry as well should just do a masters in health course and I be the spouse on sowp with our 1 year old kid on VV.
Please house your input is required, as this means I will have to get marriage cert and also her BSC cert from her school and passport for both of them.
JMG12: You should apply to a program that aligns with your work experience and look at the list of courses with a long-term shortage of jobs before applying for a program. Do your research on the University or College.

Bobomaigida: Depending on your class of 1st degree, you can look for course in data analytics, data science and computer related programmes, check mastersportal dot com or use google to look for, you will see various options and then you can check the tuition and duration of the programme.
Thank you so much boss I really appreciate your prompt response. Tried to check but I am seeing 53,000 cad for Applied computing in British Columbia institute of technology. I would appreciate if you can mention one of two courses with universities that are affordable.

I have a question: I studied Biochemistry and I currently do System Administrator/ IT Support/ Devops and I intend to pursue an MSc program that will align with my work experience, Please I need suggestions on courses and University I can apply to.
I am looking at September 2025 or January 2026, at most September 2026.
Thanks in advance as I await your response. Lekiboboe, Zubizareta, Bobomaigida and JMG12, Anybody please.
JMG12: You can continue building your career in the field of your work experience, as for cheap, studying abroad is not cheap, except if you have funding.
I have a relative that is willing to sponsor my POF.
I can come up with tuition.
Main concern for moving is my kid and the increasing cost of living as I earn in naira.
