I hope it is now very clear that those handling the economy are totally clueless and incompetent.

If you blame the fall in crude price for the astronomical loss of the value of the naira,
then who do you blame for the 2016 budget of YAMS?

My point is that the Buhari government is totally confused and bereft of ideas.

What kind of form of selfless service is this that a man would want to stake N500bn worth of personal assets? What am I missing here? The same Capital oil that opened up his filling stations selling at normal pump price (and caused unprecedented traffic at Magodo area) while others were selling above. At the time, some called him a saint.

I dey fear now. For person to put 500 billion worth of assets in line tells me he is 100% certain of his plan. This one don pass joke...nah real deal be this!

My question to Buhari government is...are you afraid of free 500 billion naira assets if his proposal fails? Or do you know something that Ubah knows?

This guy's confidence is kinda scary I tell you. However, the onus now falls on current administration to put him to test and as u said 'are they scared of free money?"

He need to tell us how long the N200/$ rate will be sustained. Maybe he have some $ in reserve to control the market for that price for few days, after which supply will dip and the rate increased again.

No idea is a waste. I think we should give him some chance. But Ifeanhyi wey I know? Most probably he is targetting something from this government.

Targetting what? How many times has he saved Nigerians as a whole from severe economic woes in the past? Know your history. He is actually interested in the welfare of the country. Yes ofcourse, he who works must be paid or compensated,so, if he salvage the situation why shouldnt he be rewarded. They should just give him the chance except they really know what he is talking about yet were pretending all along.

Y'all always attach sentiment to everything.

The truth is that many Nigerians are pocket lawyers who arr only good in criticism. Ifeanyi has challenged the government adn even without yet being consultef the naira is gaining value in a matter of hours. Your sound knowledge of economics couldnt get ylu anywhere but the "illiterate" is a billionnare employer who has thousands of academic scholars in his Payrol.

What Ipob touts and wailers didn't know is that this man just exonerated Buhari and the Economy team from this naira downfall. That is Buhari is right on not devaluing the Naira and our economic team aren't incompetent. The Naira downfall is purely artificial.

There are some things I notice in this post
Firstly someone is putting down a whopping sum of #550b,
Secondly, he his even begging and even staking big, to help the government
Thirdly does the government not knows what to do with #500b,now dollars is gaining value
Fourthly, the government (PMB) knows something Ubah also know,.
Finally somebody is over sure of helping his country and the government is finding it hard to welcome him, definitely I smell something fishing with the corruption fighting government

Na wa for your conclusion.

Yes, Ubah has a proposal, but is it not a "media proposal" like every other issue in media domain?

I was expecting some people to say it's media propaganda

Has he sent an official copy (hard or soft) to the Presidency/FG or is it going to be a media based consultation?

The 500bn staked is not cash money but assets worth.
